Take Home Meals Kitchen in Sefton

Usually a very good meal whatever you order. I particularly like their Won Ton Noodle soup. Their Chefs specials are really nice too.

Ordered two pies, 4 jumbo sausage, 3 chips and 3 gravy! Gravy was tasteless, I phoned and explained but fell on deaf ears as they said it was ok, last time we use you again and by reading other reviews on food reviews Southport others feel the same! Let’s see if you are still open in 12 months… sort it out or you won’t be

Ordered lunch after a busy new-year eve. Food was delivered on time and was delicious. Been here before when others are shut. Thanks.

Would like to review the food but 3.5 hours after ordered still waiting for it. Was told they were busy when I ordered at 6.10 and told food would be 90 minutes. Phoned again at 8.10 told would be 30 mins. Phoned again at 9.10 and who ever I spoke to really rude. Couldn't give me a time for food to arrive and what more could I expect they were busy. No apologies. Told me to cancel order if I didnt like it. I wouldnt have put an order in if they had told me 4 hours plus for order. Would have expected phone call or apology but nothing. Really really poor service. No apology no ETA. Ruined night for family. No apology. Tried these as recommended would tell everyone avoid avoid avoid.

One hour and twenty five minutes and still waiting for delivery. Hungry family. Have phoned for an update and they have " hundreds of orders." Should not have accepted more than they could supply, giving us the chance to go elsewhere.

Had several meals from here-always ready at collection time,good portions and excellent food.We especially like the special Wondering Dragon. Friendly when you phone and always covid safe when picking up food.

This was my very first visit to Take Home Meals Kitchen and it was well worth the drive across Southport. Online reviews were good, so I decided to try a new Chinese takeaway on a Thursday evening in August. I hadn`t phoned ahead my order, but that wasn`t a problem and I was advised it would be about 10 minutes, so I waited outside. Service was professional, friendly & efficient and my meal was ready in good time. A great start. As this was during the Covid19 "regulations" physical distances were maintained. All very reasuring. The modest venue is on Milton St, just off Bispham Rd - easy to find once you know where, but otherwise tucked-away out of sight for many people! I chose: House Special Fried Rice (Dry Style) at £6.50. Special with Chilli Garlic and boiled rice £6.90 (The "Special" dishes include chicken, pork, beef & shrimps) I collected my order and drove home to enjoy it. Portion sizes were decent - I was comfortably full after my meal. Flavours were delicious. Ingredients, particularly the meat, were top quality. In summary, the food is very good - fresh veggies and tender, tasty meats, freshly cooked and a quality, flavourful experience. I will be returning and treat myself again. Recommended. PRO TIP: parking outside and nearby is plentiful and free. Try one of the "Special" options if you are a real meat lover.

Great food and fast service. Good choice on menu for a take away. Definitely worth returning to try other dishes.

This takeaway is by far the best in Southport the food is always hot delicious and delivered for £1 what more could you ask for it is fantastic

Iv been going to this Chinese for over 25 year, it's the best one in Southport. Over the years its had a few different owners but food has stayed amazing. Offers a delivery service which is so fast no more than 30 minute wait most times. Food is always hot and cooked fresh, with large portions too. Friendly staff and order are always done right. Roll on takeaway night this week because its beef in black bean sauce everytime !!!!! Yum yum 5 star chinese in my tum
