I visited Taj Grill last Saturday night and I enjoyed it .The service was very good and the quality of the food is very fabulous.I feel very impressive Swati's service and she is very lovely and friendly.I tried chicken Tawa that was delicious.Highly recommend will definitely return.🥰

Food and staff both are so good

Staff is very nice they always accommodate us in a welcoming way. I appreciate they are nice and friendly. We are regular customers and food is very nice they have different options of food and everything is up to the mark staff and service both are good. A must visit place.

Please avoid this place at all costs. The staff were unprofessional and didn’t seem to care about providing good service. I placed a booking on Friday and turned up for iftar they mentioned I did not have a booking later to be seated downstairs after 15mins of waiting. Order was placed but the food turned up after an hour of waiting which past iftar time. They also gave more nan bread which wasn't ordered. Very poor dining place. The ladies were more focused on a large group of guys instead of any other customers waiting for their food. Overall a very long wait and highest disorganised. Definitely would suggest need customer service training for all staff. Will be reporting this to food hygiene agency to investigate as the quality of the place is extremely poor and dirty premisis.

Great Food at Taj Grill! We recently visited Taj Grill, and overall, it was a good experience. While the service wasn’t extraordinary, the food definitely made up for it. We ordered Fish jhal Fry, which was more of a curry-style dish, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and it paired perfectly with the fresh, warm naan. The food quality was impressive, with everything tasting fresh and well-prepared. The restaurant’s environment was also pleasant, making for a comfortable dining experience. I visited taj grill with family recently for iftRlar and dinner and trust me !! We enjoyed so much. Their food quality and quantity was top notch. Never have tried this quality food before. My personal favourite was their Fried Fishh and Tawaa!! Loved it. Staff was very welcoming and sweet. Great place for food.

Disappointing Experience – Dishonest Service I ordered the Mini Platter and Lamb Tikka Masala from Taj Grill, but instead of lamb, they served mutton without informing us. When we questioned them, they blatantly lied about it. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable, especially when customers expect transparency about what they are eating. On top of that, the food itself was average at best. The flavors were not as great as expected, and the quality didn’t justify the price. If they can’t be honest about their ingredients, how can customers trust anything else on their menu? Would not recommend.

The service was attentive and friendly specially the girls named Mandeep Swati, they both were amazing. The young girls creating a warm and charming atmosphere and when combined with the flavours of food it’s become more refreshing.We'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu in future whenever we visit again ilford lane. A must visit place again and again a best combo of asian food. I had an incredibly disappointing experience. The staff were unprofessional and didn’t seem to care about providing good service. The mojitos we ordered tasted like medicine, and to make matters worse, they were served in a jug that made pouring nearly impossible. As for the mixed grill, it arrived in just 10 minutes, which wouldn’t have been a problem if it weren’t for the fact that it was clear everything had just been microwaved and hastily thrown together. I won’t be coming back.

Visited Taj Grill on February 18, 2025, at 11:30 PM. Ordered the mix grill, but it was preheated and lacked freshness. The fish was extremely disappointing, it had a rubbery texture and was inedible. Overall, a poor dining experience. I would give a negative rating and do not recommend based on this visit.

We ordered food for working lunch for office with people from mixed backgrounds. I spoke to owner Mr Irfan who is a very humble person and true gentleman.He personally took interest in suggesting type of food we can order. The food was ok. We ordered two burgers for the kids and ended up waiting over 30 minutes. It appeared the staff were prioritising Deliveroo orders over their in-house customers. I had to repeatedly inquire about our order, even after stressing that the kids’ meals should be served immediately since they were hungry. Not once did anyone apologize for the delay. I definitely won’t be returning.

This was my second visit to Taj. Although we originally intended to order the Tawa Platter, we mistakenly ordered the Mixed Platter, but it turned out to be a good choice. Everything about this place is great, the food, atmosphere, and service. A special thanks to the two kind and honest girls who helped me retrieve my forgotten mobile phone. I truly appreciate their honesty and wish I had asked for their names so I could mention them here. Thanks both of them. Highly recommended! I look forward to visiting again.

Ilford has its fair share of great Pakistani restaurants but in my experience, Taj Grill’s food options, taste and prices really stood out to me. The BBQ tasted immaculate and as you can see in the video, they seasoned the heck out of the BBQ which is exactly why it tasted amazing🔥 Another thing I really liked about Taj Grill is their reasonable prices like their mini Platter for £22.50 which was extremely filling as it had all the main Pakistani BBQ items and was good enough for 2 people. You also can’t go wrong with their chicken Karahi which formed a perfect combo with their garlic naans. Don’t forget to order their refreshing non alcoholic Mojitos for the perfect meal.

Taj Grill Restaurant is a famous Desi food spot in London, loved by many, including celebrities. A few days ago, I went there for dinner and had the chance to meet the renowned Pakistani actor, Bilal Abbas Khan, who was also dining there. For all Pakistani and Asian Desi food lovers, I would highly recommend you to visit Taj Grill whenever you're in London!

Last night I ordered the Mixed Grill platter, and it was a good deal with a big portion. The lamb kebabs and grilled fish were very fresh and tasty. The biryani didn’t have much flavor and tasted plain, but the naan was soft and delicious, making the meal better. Highly recommend 🔥

Whilst the atmosphere may look a little outdated, the food was outstanding. We were served by the lovely mandeep and ate the tawa and the very famous taj masala fish. Highly recommend!!

Didn't enjoy the Tawa grill,fish and naan was soaked in curry,when it's meant to be grill food ,they put the curry in the same Tawa withr all the other food to get soaked in the curry, need ventilation in the basement when they bring the mix grill, everyone is coughing the place down.

Last weak i had a dinner at taj grill and my experience was too good the gril named Fatima ashraf she deal us very nicely she’s so calm humble and very intelligent she look as perfect and professional on her work highly recommend

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude and acted like we were eating for free. The wait time was very long, and when the food finally came, my lamb tikka masala was a mix of chicken and lamb. Overall, poor service, long wait, and mistakes with the food. I won’t be coming back.

The samosa chat was not all that nice. The grilled burger was nice, and so was the small mixed grill. Not a lot of people and the service was fast. Restaurant has toilets and plenty of seating with a nice red decor. Decent food, and it cost us about £50 for a family of 5, though it wasn't a place so great I would want to come again

Food looked fine but it’s over priced. Tables were greasy and music was very loud and noisy. Our plates had dirt in them not cleaned properly. I got charged more than I ordered the counter guy wouldn’t even show me the bill. I had to tell him to re check my bill as we did not even receive a few items. Not okay. Pity going downhill. We work hard not to be ripped off and my sim had stomach pains. Prfer the sweet place across the road.
