Ordered a delivery. They forgot the prawn crackers, which to be honest wasn’t the problem. The dinner was so cold and didn’t taste right

Food has gone downhill since the cange in management. Not sure I would go back again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE as someone who former worked here, a customer ordered the tai yin rice she ordered the wrong thing so the owner told me to tell her she could return it for a new dish, 5 minutes go past and a gentleman comes in and orders a tai yin rice, this lady told us she ate some of it and didn’t like it. So they put the previous customers food into the microwave and then put the lid back onto it and served it to the gentleman, I did tell them to recook a new one as this is very dangerous in multiple cases. And they said it was fine and to give it to the gentleman. They are very unhygienic they do not wash there hands even after been to the toilet, they use the same chopping board and knife for raw meat cooked meat and veg etc.

Under new management. Have ordered the meal that I have been doing for a long period of time and it's been tasting as good as ever - if not slightly better sometimes. Just to give people the nudge to try it again themselves if they're put off by the negative reviews 👍

Establishment has recently changed ownership. The service and quality has massively gone downhill now on the 3 occasions I've ordered. A young girl on the end of phone who has no customer service whatsoever and is rude. Wrong order delivered twice after waiting 90 mins. Customer of 10 years now looking for another Chinese restaurant.

Wow, this place used to be lovely and we’ve been loyal customers for years. Apparently it’s under new management and all new staff. Can’t believe how awful our meal was this evening. The dishes were half full and that’s not an exaggeration. It was cold, chewy chicken and noodles were full of onion, every dish was tasteless and the chips were dry and inedible. We had a dish missing and the customer service was shocking. Absolutely would not use again.

Placed order on phone at 5.10 for £70 was told 30 min for delivery 1 hour and 30 min later still waiting was told there's traffic and the a new delivery driver delivering cancelled the order there problem

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Placed a telephone order and was told 20 minutes , arrived to collect 30 minutes later and waited for another 40 minutes. Young girl on the desk being shouted at by the chefs , desperately trying to answer the phone and handover orders all while trying to apologise to multiple people arriving with incorrect orders or who had been waiting at least double their estimated time. Management refused to speak to myself and other people wanting to complain , but sent out a delivery driver instead. Three of us were refused a refund on food that hadn’t even been cooked yet. Somebody returned stone cold rice and we were also informed by someone working there that food had been sitting out pre-cooked for hours. Of course we left as we did not want the risk of food poisoning. I would like to add this is no way the fault of the lovely delivery driver and very young , polite and extremely upset girl on the front desk.

Best Chinese in Taverham, long established and best dishes are crispy chilli beef, chicken chow mein, chicken with chilli and spicy salt, Tai Yin special fried rice, beef in black bean sauce, sweet and sour chicken balls, with an extra sweet and sour sauce.

This, without exception, is the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had, I don’t know where to begin! The chow mein had no flavour and tasted burnt, mine had hardly any beef. The rice tasted like it was out of a bag of uncle Bens and again no flavour. The chips were like re heated fries from macdonolds. My son had the ribs they were just awful, inedible. It feels like there was a stand in cook who has not much idea and just did what they could! I’m not sure what’s going on and I know this is a harsh review but it’s honest. We have ordered before some time ago and I’m positive the food wasn’t like this. Suffice to say that this was the best part of £40 WASTED!

Just ordered a Chinese from here and got to say best I've had for a long time. Sometimes you get that feeling after eating a lot of Chinese food that its heavy, not this place. Very light, felt much nicer to eat too. Very tasty. Delivery was very fast with a friendly smile too. 😃 Brilliant.

Nasty. Only ordered chicken balls and chips but was horrible. Burnt, warmed up and just not nice. For nearly £9 I expected fresh at the very least

Food is lovely but we have had the wrong items in our order a couple of times. We live locally though so a quick phone call and they'll usually drop us round the correct item.

Me and my partner ordered delivery for Valentine’s Day. £35 down and 1h 30mins later we got our food. Not very good for money, ribs were basically all bone and food was barely hot. Wish I could get my money back.

Standard delivery time from just eat and thought the food was brilliant

Had ordered via justeat for the earliest delivery time available. I had an update advising that the order would be 50 minutes later than selected. When it did arrive it was an hour later than selected. The food itself was disappointing the crispy chilli beef was soggy, the chips were luke warm and soggy, the prawn crackers tasted stale and the spring rolls and chicken balls were overcooked. Sauces weren't much better, the sweet and sour very runny and vinegary and the satay sauce didnt taste of much and also very runny. All in all very unsatisfactory and sadly won't be ordering again.

Beyond unreliable. Delivery to Queens Hill inncurs a surcharge, but in actual fact, it should be a disclaimer that states they will only deliver 'when not busy' Find another take-away....Or, do what they ask, and place the order at a later time and they 'might' be able to deliver......Poor.

Nearest Chinese takeaway, which can go from being excellent one night, to bland the next. Not sure if they rotate the kitchen staff but some nights are definitely better than others.

I order spicy chicken. Calmen which wasn't spicy and salt and pepper chips which doesn't have any salt in it. I will understand if food was not my taste but when you order something actually called salt and pepper chips it should have salt in it. Shttist food I have ever taste guys 👎

The food was okay. The chicken balls were tough as they were overdone though. Delivery was on time. It was however very expensive for what you get.

Despite setting their own minimum order value (£10) and charging a delivery fee (£2) my order of £14 was rejected via just eat. Increase your minimum order requirements and don't waste peoples time.

Food was pretty good for a Chinese takeout. Selection was good, be nice to have more Thai selection

Just spent almost £30 to get home with dark brown chicken balls . Guess the oil was old or using cheap flour . Prawn crackers that taste like last night's .lemon chicken like rubber and crispy beef with no beef in .. they are going more and more down hill . Think I will take the drive to east on Colman road soooo much better . Would love to support local shops but not when it's like that . Didn't take it back as every thing else would get cold . Plus wasn't even busy in there . Order was quick and only ones in the shop

Had a meal from here friday night, the chips were wangy and the chicken in the chicken balls was inedible, it was really tough & chewy, i dont even know how its possible to get chicken to be like that? Anyway, quite an achiement to ruin chips & pieces of chicken lol. I would avoid

Don't waste your money. Worst chinese we've had in Norfolk. Food was cold on arrival.... I don't know how, as we are less than 2 miles away. Food was generally greasy. Crispy chilli beef: super soggy and floating in tones of sauce. Spring rolls: burnt with no vegetables insides. Probably cooked from frozen. Vegetable fried rice: filled with cucumber and celery, which looked like it was past its best. Also the mushrooms were partially raw. Egg fried rice: so plain, I probably could have cooked better in a microwave! Chicken balls: over cooked, very bland. All the food went in the bin, we were so disappointed. The only good thing was the polite lady delivering our order and the speed from ordering online to arriving. Just don't do it.... move on, try somewhere else.

A good local take-away. Only disappointment was the Lemon chicken shown on their menu and in store graphics, isn't as shown. Rather than the previously sliced chicken, it is now pop-corn style and the sauce is weak and watery. Everything else was tasty and the portions generous. Note to owner - don't change a winning formula.

Just moved to felthorpe ordered a Chinese to be delivered. Friendly lady who took my order said it would be about an hour and it was. Delivery driver was brill and the food was excellent. Def recommend it xx

Really good quality, consistent and well priced.

First time using this takeaway, and really impressed with portion size and quality of the food. Egg fried rice was the best I've ever had :)
