This restaurant is no more.it has ceased to be.a great shame as it was a relaxing place to go with nice owners and wonderful food

Were looking for a Thai restaurant and chose this primarily as it was NOT in a town centre Turned out to be a GREAT choice Extensive menu and food cooked to order (chef even checked that everything was to our liking) In a sense this was a big surprise as we weren't sure what a "village Thai" might turn out like

Sorry to say this was not a triumphant meal. Well over an hour for our mains to arrive, as takeaway after takeaway floated out of the kitchen. The beef in the red curry was extremely tough and the massaman, salty. Uncomfortable seating. No atmosphere. On the plus side, there was no trouble getting a table on a Saturday night. Friendly staff, but not impressive.

Found this little gem by accident. The food was superb, cooked freshly and with Authentic ingredients, the hosts were most welcoming.

Have been coming here for a couple of years, Only had takeaways from here but the food really is excellent.

Light and airy, very friendly, excellent food. We ordered sharing starters when we arrived then a main course later. It was a lovely evening. Those in our party who had not been there before were keen to go again.

Had a fabulous meal here last night with my husband and son. I had the chicken massaman curry with jasmine rice and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the yellow curry which he said was amazing too. My son had the mixed platter as a main and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and friendly. Will definitely return when next in the area.

We come here for a meal every time we are in North Wales on holiday. The food was lovely and fresh and very flavoursome. I had the chilli oil chicken as usual and was not disappointed. I tasted one of my companions' Thai red curry and that was really nice too - nothing like the generic pastes you can buy in the supermarket.

Lovely food and really friendly staff. I had a vegetable green curry and also tasted the vegetable massaman curry, which my daughter had. Both were beautifully flavoured and two of best Thai curries I've tasted. Excellent restaurant.

My wife and I are never disappointed when we go here for a meal. Lovely food and wine at reasonable prices and friendly service. A great asset to a lovely village.

We love going here wither for dinner or to pick up a take away, the food is always amazing and the owners and staff are lovely. I'd highly recommend going here as a couple or family. Between us we have wide variety of dishes, my favourite is the little pork ribs and then the steak salad, all so full of flavour

Discovered this pub thanks to trip advisor during a visit to Wales whilst staying at the Hotel Dinorwic in Y Felinheli. First called in on the Thursday but they were only serving food Friday and Saturday. Back on Saturday and what a treat. Burgers, Pizzas and Flatbreads were 2 for £10 but we would have paid full price. Amazing food and quick friendly service.

A must visit, feel good local boozer, with a great atmosphere in a traditional welsh pub. The customer service is excellent and the staff are uber friendly. The locals are very pleasant happy go lucky punters, who guarantee to make your visit a happy one!!!

We were taken to this pub by our friends on a visit to Anglesey. It is just 5 minute drive off the Island from the Britannia Bridge. The place is in a lovely spot overlooking the Menai Straights has a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food is fantastic. The choice is extensive and varied something for everyone at reasonable prices. Good choice of beers and wines. If you are in the area this place is a must to visit. We went at lunchtime but we are reliably informed that the dinner menu is the same and the prices are the same.

Had a really nice Sunday Lunch here. It was all cooked perfectly, especially them roast potatoes. Would definitely eat here again. The prices are good and they have a decent selection of Gin. Thank you!

A really comfortable pub/restaurant that just makes you feel good! Lovely traditional menu with good portions of well cooked food, a super place to be if it is a bit blowy (which it usually is on the Menai coast!) a gentle walk from the harbour to the pub which is needed when you walk back! Highly recommended for more than one visit :-)

We visited as a group of 11 ranging in ages from 15 to 35. The hosts were fantastic, they set up the table for us and were really friendly in accomodating our needs. The food was pretty decent, the menu is standard and not huge but caters for all dietary requirements. The food all came out piping hot and was really nice. Two main things that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars, speed of food coming out and the quality of my steak. Granted we all ordered individually but by the time the first person finished the last one was just getting their food. The steak was ok, nothing special. They have a good selection of gins and the place is clean enough for all people. Would I come back again, yes I would.

The food is superb, alway the same quality week in week out, everything fresh and hot.

We visited here on a Sunday and decided to have the Sunday lunch as we had been told it was excellent, it did not disappoint. The staff are really friendly and I would recommend this place to anybody.

I have dined at tafarn y fic on many occasions and have never once been let down. Freshly cooked food, homemade pizzas, burgers stacked like mountains, or even the juiciest steaks all served to perfection. But for me the best of all is served up on a Sunday afternoon! YOU WILL NOT Find a better carvery around, simply perfect. The prices are very good especially considering the quality of food being served. To top it off, very friendly staff and also very friendly and welcoming locals.
