From outside, you probably wouldn’t even considerate. Do. It’s incredible. The margaritas are amazing, ALL the food was delicious, from the nachos to the tacos, including the vegetarian options. The staff our a delight, service is first class. No frills, no fuss, just bloody great Mexican food, done proper well!

Taco Queen is one of many interesting little restaurants scattered throughout Peckham, but it is certainly worth taking the trip from central London just to eat there. I am already looking forward to my next visut there, but from my first time I heartily recommend the fried chicken tacos, the cochinita bibil, the ox cheek mulita and the Agave Maria cocktail.

Restaurant has a cosy, buzzing atmosphere and was packed all night with staff constantly having to turn people away… make sure you book ! Tacos were all delicious and filling, despite us thinking at the start 2 each wouldn’t be enough. Chips and salsa to start came as a very generous order too.

Looks like a cafe. Great staff. Great service. Great flavours. Not TexMex. Proper Mex. Lovely flavours. Worth a diversion. Also tried wings. Nachos looked great so will try those next time. But all tacos sounded amazing. Just tried short rib, coliflour and Baja fish. Hard to decide to skip starters and go for tacos only. Will need to revisit few more times to complete menu. Fully recommend it.

simply charmed by the dishes we had - really excellent. We had the pork, beef, aubergine and fish tacos which were all delicious, and the vegan nanchos were brilliant. First nachos I've enjoyed!

I would strongly recommend the avocado taco and the steak mulita. Honestly cannot wait to have them again. Excellent

Absolutely love Taco Queen - just got my first post lockdown fix and worth the wait...the slow roast pork taco and veggie nachos (really opened my eyes to the joys of jackfruit) have to be my favourite Tex Mex dishes in London! Only doing takeaway now but also has a good vibe in the restaurant when that’s back on line.

If you're not there at opening, you'll definitely be queueing for this place, but it's so worth it!! Best tacos in London, the steak mulitas are amazing and all very reasonably priced.

Food is the right price and tastes great. Good for cheap eats. I will say that the interior could do with some updating. Seemed a bit gritty... This might add to the charm for some!

You're greeted with a friendly smile, and the feeling you're at a gathering with friends! Nice choice of delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Nice beer choice too!

This is a small very quirky place that is always crowded - but you can wait in the nearby games emporium and slaughter baddies before dinner - they will phone you when a table is free!! The atmosphere is brilliant, the staff are very friendly and the food - served fast and furious - is exceptional. It will not appeal to everyone - but if you enjoy Mexican food - and the opportunity to slaughter bad guys - give it a go!!

Fantastic for the price. 2 people can eat more than comfortably with a drink each for under 40 pounds.

I’ve been to Taco Queen quite a few times now because it’s just so good and it continues to be one of my favourite places to eat in Peckham. The food is exceptional. The atmosphere and staff are really lovely and it’s just all round...

My son recommended this spot as he lives in the area- very glad he did! Great atmosphere, amazing Tacos (especially the Tofu ones, wow!) and friendly and super-efficient staff. Yum!

Had a lunch in this place on a Sunday. Tacos and nachos were great. Especially the non meat options. The quessedilla was OK, the meat was over spiced for our taste buds. All in all great choice for trying tacos in Peckham.
