Taca Tacos in Lewisham

Great place to grab some quick and tasty food while you're out. Staff are friendly and the food is tasty. They don't have loads of the vegetarian options but the best one (surprisingly) is the bean tacos. The nachos are ok but I wouldn't get them again.

We arrived and we were told in a very rude and unfriendly manner to wait to order. While waited 3 staff members told us 30/45 mins wait for food. And after 10 mins wait we were told that they were unable to take orders, it wasn’t the way to talk to people. Extremely rude. Clearly you are unable to work under pressure, also you should learn how to talk to your customer. And if you can serve your dining customer the. Switch off your Deliveroo. Never again I come to this place which I brought my nephew for his birthday. Terrible

I have a few things to say about this place - first off, the food. Hands down best nachos and burrito I've ever had. That includes my frequent stops at Titos Tacos on Lincoln Blvd in LA and that place is hard to beat. Secondly, the frozen margarita had a fair amount of tequila in it which was delicious. Thirdly, Katie and the chef were awesome in there. They adapted everything to suit my two little ones, adjusting the dishes just for them- in such a kind and considerate way. This is my new favourite Mexican eatery, you have ro try it.

Having been to similar in Seattle and Palm Springs this is a low runoff of those. Raise your game have two till points and two staff taking orders when busy. It might be cheaper for you but it’s not great for the paying customer. Especially when a person making order has questions. Plus paying ahead is not great. The place does not feel v clean. Seeing staff wipe tables just with paper napkins! Yuk where are your hot wet cloths or proper sponges. Windows are filthy. I dint dare use the facilities I get the whole basic look but this wouldn’t happen in the US where you are trying to copy. Even Maria’s in QUeen Anne’s which could only fit 6 tables was spotless. Food was tasty but tacos were a mix of hard or soft in one small portion.more care needed. Also quite greasy . They were an annoying size to much filling to be able to really fold or pick up without filling falling out. The provision of a spoon at least? As you can’t be bothered to publicly wipe the tables well enough I hope you at least hot wash the plastic baskets. When sums up the whole place. Splat dash which not ok for the prices.

We had a selection of tacos and some nachos to share. All tacos are made using a gluten free batter and were tasty! Friendly service and good beverage options also.

Tacos were a little on the bland side, and it’s expensive. Possible teething issues as they settle into their permanent spot. Will try them again in a few months.
