Tabule Kitchen in Birmingham

This is a beautiful restaurant. I came with my husband to try the food and it did not disappoint. Everything was bursting with flavour. I will definitely be back and try other dishes. The Batata Harra was really nice. I also loved the mixed grill. The lamb was soft and flavourful.

Bread is dry. Falafels seem probably industrial. The eggs were so greasy and burnt. It was not a good experience. Such a shame.

Oh my gosh, the food was AMAZING!! Excellent service aswell, the waiters were very kind and friendly. Also the place is beautiful, honestly we had a fab time!

This is the 5th time I'm going to Tabule - it is an amazing place - excellent brunch (my favourite is al quds 😋) just had dinner with the family had the platter and side order of sujec. A lovely atmosphere and service with a smile. Will be going back again very soon

I left the below review a long time ago... After repeatedly going here over few years now I see this was my last visit! Here is why Went on a Monday... quiet day. Hardly customers. So expect service spot on. Order taken by owner. No issue. Drinks came quickly no issue. Starters came shortly after. No issue... But they weren't the best and some were hit and miss. Still, overall so far not going badly Suddenly as we are tucked into starters they start to bring mains...we've barely got through the starters. Asked the to take them back. Mains...not great. One of the items we ordered they didn't have. Then we ordered a couple of more pizzas, as they served them a moment later they're rolling out the birthday cake for my daughter!!! We're still eating mains and without notice! Omg. Like out of a Mr Bean or Faulty Towers seen! After we finished the had a re-run... They didn't even put the right amount of candles. Even though it was in the booking. To top it off, when I tried to gove the owner some honest feedback he kept telling me how next time they would sort it! I kept saying there won't be a next time... He still did not get it... Didn't even offer a reduction on the bill. And the cherry on the cake...they charged me £7 for 2 750ml water bottles. Really?? Excellent Lebanese food. Really good atmosphere, great decor and good family run business with some excellent dishes on menu. Perfect for parties, families and a chill out lunch.

It's alright, good food but overpriced. The regular shawarma portion is tiny

I highly recommend Tabule Kitchen. The staff and the food were absolutely exceptional. I recently hosted a private dining event for 50 people, and the hospitality was outstanding. Abu George, a truly top-notch host, assisted me in planning and organizing every detail. On the day of the event, all the food arrived promptly and was of superb quality. The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and skilled. I can’t praise this place enough. The decor is authentic, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. Every guest was greeted with a warm smile. A huge thank you to Alan (Abu George) for making the event so special. Everyone had an unforgettable experience, and we will certainly be returning.

Amazing food great customer service and really clean restaurant

I arrived at the restaurant just after was opened. I walked in and I asked for a table for one person just to be told the whole restaurant is fully booked. The waiter explained to me there was a big group. Which I fully understand. But the group didn’t arrived yet and there was people which are not part of the group are allowed to dine in. I even asked for a takeaway and I been told is not possible. The guy made me feel un welcomed. And I thought maybe if I was an Arab or morrocan will be treated differently. Very disappointed before I even tried those food. Failed customer service = failed food

Tap water is NOT available. You have to pay for expensive bottled water. We would have tried some of their interesting looking non-alcoholic mocktails. But we didn't, because their unexpected refusal to serve tap water made us feel cheated and that they were trying to screw us in the worst RyanAir style. This "little thing" spoilt a nice celebration and made us leave earlier, spending less, than we otherwise would and unwilling to return. The owners do not seem to see things from a customer feelings viewpoint; nor understand how ambiance, hospitality and customers feeling they are having a good time can be spoilt by silly meanness and reduce the chance of return visits and recommendations. They have lovely interesting food and desserts and polite, attentive staff who then seem nasty for refusing tap water. Tip: play to you strengths (the food) + eliminate your weakness (give tap-water) = profit, repeat custom, success. This is a quick win. Would have got 5 stars otherwise. NB: No alcohol (even bring your own) allowed - fair enough, but they should advertise this, and also their tap water policy so the gap between expectation and reality is on the side of happiness not disappointment and annoyance..

This place is perfect for Mediterranean food Perfect taste the service is very professional and gentle the staff make sure that we enjoying out time . The price very reasonable We loved all the food I recommend you to have kebbah very tasty and juicy. Shawarma was bit dry , Juice and tea not that good . Went in for a dessert. I ordered Arabic tea and basbosa with a side of ice cream. Tea was okay but served in an awkward teapot that leaked. Ice cream was nice. The basbosa was not basbosa but knefeh. It has cheese centre which basbosa doesn’t have. It tastes awful. Lousy customer service. The guy is trying to convince me it is basbosa instead saying they’re out. I make basbosa and also bought from others. Never coming here again.

For the first time since 3 years in UK this is the first restaurant that brings the Lebanese taste by 100%. Starting from cold mezze to hot mezze to the main dish and tea after you finish. Thanks Abo George for the special treatment. I will come back.

This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friends. Staff are very friendly and are very welcoming . However, I was expecting better food. The chicken cubes and burgul was very nice but the shawarma wasn’t the best. There was nice music playing in the background. I may visit this restaurant again.

Came for Sunday dinner and it’s the busiest place in the area. Tabular Kitchen the go-to place if you like authentic Lebanese & Moroccan food. Food is fresh, flavourful & nicely presented. Service is attentive.

Great lebanese food. Nice decor and friendly staff

Me and my daughter came to this restaurant after a long day of work as we both like lebanese cuisine. It was pretty much empty at 5.30p and we sat down on the bench style tables. The tall chubby arab looking waiter came over and asked us to move to a 2 seater table in a rude tone, which didn't appear necessary (there was nobody else there) but ok i understand as it may get busy. We moved and he came to take our order, i ordered a vegan meze and my daughter ordered sharwama wrap along with drinks. The order came within 5 minutes. First impressions of my meze were not good, the patatoes where oozing oil like they had been refried. I wasnt going to eat them so i cut into my falafel, to my horror there was a curly short **HAIR** imbedded in there. I was glad it was discovered straight away and i hadnt started eating. I called the same waiter over and he immediately took my fork with the falafel off me and started to examine, he denied the hair was there. So i asked for the fork back and asked him to call another member of staff to which he suddenly saw the hair and blamed his eyesight. This made me furious. Mistakes happen, we are human, but to deny to my face. I regret not taking a picture before i called him. He quickly walked off and from the distance he said i will get another for you, to this i said no thank you as his attitude was terrible and customer service zero, consideration for hygiëne is obviously lacking. My daughter order of sharwama was also oozing oil out of the wrap and could not eat her food either. Very poor service and the food is below chip shop level. It appeared they refry the food. We just had drinks but paid for food we didnt eat. Not going there again. TABULE TEAM I suggest you brush up on your customer service, Very disappointed

I was part of an event in the local area and my friend and I wanted somewhere near to eat before parting way for the evening. We checked out the website a couple of days before, but didn’t need to book a table. There were a few diners already situated and plenty of seats available. The staff here are so lovely and friendly, happy to help answer any questions about menu items. The menu is simple and quite honestly, everything on it sounds deliciously tasty! Our party of three ordered Mezze dishes for starters and Mashawi Grills for mains. Each dish was savoured and did not disappoint - very well seasoned and flavoursome, my only issue was that the food could have been a bit hotter in temperature when it arrived at the table. Tabuleh Kitchen also serves a delightful alternative to a certain carbonated beverage, which actually went down really well - as did the Ayran drink that one of my friends tried (we all tried it actually!) for the first time. Decor is excellent - took me back to a recent holiday in Agadir - food is well-cooked, hearty and filling - we planned on dessert but we were defeated…but we’ll be back I’m sure!!

The food is incredible and so tasty but we did not feel that welcome. The kids were not allowed tap water and I was looking forward to the vegan pizza and they just did no, look again... tricky one - maybe I will do online delivery rather than the restaurant experience - because if you are spending out you want to have a friendly warm experience when being served...

Superb place hidden away in Birmingham

It was okay... place looked lovely. Service was a bit frosty, went at a quiet time, yet still wasn't acknowledged until we approached the staff. Ordered the platter for 2, which looked very nice however lacked flavour. Had to dip everything in sauce. The chicken pizza was nice. Wasn't the best overall experience, however might try again in the future to see if it was a one off.

Great place to eat! We keep coming back. Staff are friendly and helpful. Try the Mahamarra. Advice, there is a car park at the back with its own entrance to the restaurant.

Great service and efficient staff. We went there on Eid and they were very good despite busy time. The manaqeesh were amazing.

Good restaurant food taste nice specially the pizza and spicy houmous, mix grill chicken was nice and juicy and the meat quality was less keeping in mind the price. Apart from that milkshake was delicious and mocktails was good as well.

Service was good but mix grill was just average for me. Best part of the meal was the cold mezze platter and patata harra.

A beautiful little cafe tucked away on a busy high street. Once you step in it's like you've left Mosley and entered a cafe in Lebanon! The decor is rustic and authentic. Very photogenic 👌 The food was delicious. Such variety and everything on the plate tased so good. I'd visit again for sure.

Visited this place in the afternoon where it's very quiet, not busy at all. Got seated straight away, and after 5 mins, our order was taken. It took over half an hour for some of our food to arrive. The grilled chicken and shawarma were just about warm, and the fries were piping hot . The food took so long that I was considering walking out. I confronted the staff member(tall Arab man) that food was not hot only to be told if you don't like it I can get them to make it again. My afternoon was already ruined by sitting there for that long, let alone waiting even longer for them to cook it again. The staff member came across very rude and did not want to help the situation in any way, so therefore, we will never be visiting this place again and would not recommend it either

I visited the restaurant with my husband and my two children. what I can say is that everyone enjoyed the food so much even the kids, everything was so wonderful! very beautifully presented dishes and generous portions, there is something for everyone on the menu. absolutely loved all the meze and the grill plate. beautifully decorated with fine details that take you to a completely different country. the service is top notch too, so helpful and friendly. we will definitely visit Tabule many times again because it is now on the favorites list!

Really enjoyed the setting and atmosphere The food was great and delicious. We had the shared platter for two and it came with 2 sides. The Mojito and fruit cocktail are freshly made. Would recommend to anyone who is unsure. Very good service. Will be back!

The best Middle Eastern restaurant in Birmingham! Very Moroccan style! I recommend Musaka, mixed cold mezze platter as starters.. Lamb Tagine is my favourite main And of course Kunafe Nutella as a dessert! Manageesh are perfect for breakfast (or even as a brunch)

Does what it says on the tin... very flavorsome food like very varied and we ordered lots of nibbles almost tapas but a lot so we enjoyed tasted lots of dishes.. all comes together and waiter explains whats what

What an amazing place, beautiful top to bottom, great food like totally amazing and so tasty, it was the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in a very long time, and we ordered, ribs, wings, mixed grills, lamb okra dishes, fries, it was all so so tasty like wow, service was quick and food was quality on another level. I was greeted very well and friendly. I ordered a lamb wrap to collect. The wrap was ok. Meat flavor was average but decent amount. Unfortunately no veggies and small probably due to that. I did enjoy the chips but unlikely to return.

The food here is so beautiful. We had flatbread, salmon with bulgar wheat and a few sides. Even the mint tea was perfect. Staff were lovely and welcoming, helping me to decide when I was stuck between a few dishes. Lovely place to come and hang out in the centre of Moseley

Tasty middle eastern food, atmosphere will give you the feeling that you are eating in Lebanon. Beside the Servcie was amazing

This has to be the most unmoroccan moroccan restaurant I’ve visited. The food was very very very bland. If you’re not a fan of seasoning, this is the place for you. And if you love to overspend with nothing much in return, this is also the place for you. We ordered; lahm bi ajeen, shakshouka (came as a pizza 👎🏼), merguez (on tinned tomatoes), hummus with falafel, fuul and moroccan tea. The best thing from this restaurant is their friendly staff and interior, otherwise not a place I’d recommend or return to. Even the moroccan tea was very mediocre.

It was a really nice restaurant with a good ambiance, The food was top notch, prices were really good, portions were really good. Kids friendly would recommend trying it out with your family.
