Tabule Kitchen in Birmingham

Had a great experience here. Went in for lunch and a catch up with a friend. The food was new to me and so good. Great flavours and the desert was wonderous. Service was perfect, we were allowed to spend time together without multiple interruptions and yet they kept up to date on where we were with the meal. Just blooming brilliant

Stumbled upon this little gem in Moseley with a friend who is visiting from abroad and we were both really impressed. I'm not overly familiar with Middle Eastern food so my friend helped me choose and I have to say, it was some of the nicest food I've ever had. The service and atmosphere was excellent too. Have already promised some of my family members I'll take them there, would definitely recommend.

Such a unique place in Birmingham. I absolutely love the food it is delicious. Such warm and friendly staff and the design of the interior embraces the Moroccan culture.

A lovely place for lunch. Allergen items clearly labelled on the menu and the food itself was delicious. Reasonably quiet on a Tuesday and we were able to take our time which helped as we had two small children with us.

Really, tabule kitchen is the best, we enjoyed the lamb shoulder, cold mazza, lamb bilajeen...the service was great ,staff are very friendly and helpful..highly recommended.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Decor was nice, service could have been a little faster considering the restaurant was not busy at all. The vegan platter and batata harra potatoes were very tasty!

We had a very nice meal with my family,we enjoyed the manakich ,lamb shank, special grill,the atmosphere was amazing and the staff were great…recommended.

First off, out server was lovely and prompt he was so efficient with our orders; our food order was taken quickly and delivered in no time at all, the halloumi wasn't rubbery and perfectly crisp, the feta and spinach could do with a touch more seasoning but was good as is. The shawarma roll was well presented and filling; and the tagine dish I got (I forget the name) was absolutely delicious, I've never had plums in a dish before but it balanced the lamb out so well, and again the portion size was a brazen attempt at seeing how much food I can actually consume

Un montón de asientos, cálida bienvenida. Una buena cena pre-teatro / cine si visita MAC por la carretera (deje su coche allí y obtener el número 1 colina arriba y atrás).

Great find in Moseley village, brought me familiar feelings from home🇱🇧 There is a variety of cold and hot mezza, in addition to a big collection of grilled meats and traditional dishes. The service is warm and generous, portions are big, and the owner is the most hospitable person! We will definitely be visiting again. We got and recommend: hummus, Rahib salad, waraa enab, fattoush, casa chicken, lahm b ajeen (huge portion), a vegetarian okra stew with rice, chips, and laban ayran

Authentic Lebanese place in Moseley in Birmingham.A very nice cozy place with so much options on the menu with traditional Lebanese dishes.The Kibbeh and the Zaatar bread were excellent.Will definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful restaurant. I came with my husband to try the food and it did not disappoint. Everything was bursting with flavour. I will definitely be back and try other dishes. The Batata Harra was really nice. I also loved the mixed grill. The lamb was soft and flavourful.

Bread is dry. Falafels seem probably industrial. The eggs were so greasy and burnt. It was not a good experience. Such a shame.

I left the below review a long time ago... After repeatedly going here over few years now I see this was my last visit! Here is why Went on a Monday... quiet day. Hardly customers. So expect service spot on. Order taken by owner. No issue. Drinks came quickly no issue. Starters came shortly after. No issue... But they weren't the best and some were hit and miss. Still, overall so far not going badly Suddenly as we are tucked into starters they start to bring mains...we've barely got through the starters. Asked the to take them back. Mains...not great. One of the items we ordered they didn't have. Then we ordered a couple of more pizzas, as they served them a moment later they're rolling out the birthday cake for my daughter!!! We're still eating mains and without notice! Omg. Like out of a Mr Bean or Faulty Towers seen! After we finished the had a re-run... They didn't even put the right amount of candles. Even though it was in the booking. To top it off, when I tried to gove the owner some honest feedback he kept telling me how next time they would sort it! I kept saying there won't be a next time... He still did not get it... Didn't even offer a reduction on the bill. And the cherry on the cake...they charged me £7 for 2 750ml water bottles. Really?? Excellent Lebanese food. Really good atmosphere, great decor and good family run business with some excellent dishes on menu. Perfect for parties, families and a chill out lunch.

I highly recommend Tabule Kitchen. The staff and the food were absolutely exceptional. I recently hosted a private dining event for 50 people, and the hospitality was outstanding. Abu George, a truly top-notch host, assisted me in planning and organizing every detail. On the day of the event, all the food arrived promptly and was of superb quality. The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and skilled. I can’t praise this place enough. The decor is authentic, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. Every guest was greeted with a warm smile. A huge thank you to Alan (Abu George) for making the event so special. Everyone had an unforgettable experience, and we will certainly be returning.

I arrived at the restaurant just after was opened. I walked in and I asked for a table for one person just to be told the whole restaurant is fully booked. The waiter explained to me there was a big group. Which I fully understand. But the group didn’t arrived yet and there was people which are not part of the group are allowed to dine in. I even asked for a takeaway and I been told is not possible. The guy made me feel un welcomed. And I thought maybe if I was an Arab or morrocan will be treated differently. Very disappointed before I even tried those food. Failed customer service = failed food

I ordered a shawarma for delivery after I heard so many positive reviews, I had to get rid of it as it tasted really really bad

Tap water is NOT available. You have to pay for expensive bottled water. We would have tried some of their interesting looking non-alcoholic mocktails. But we didn't, because their unexpected refusal to serve tap water made us feel cheated and that they were trying to screw us in the worst RyanAir style. This "little thing" spoilt a nice celebration and made us leave earlier, spending less, than we otherwise would and unwilling to return. The owners do not seem to see things from a customer feelings viewpoint; nor understand how ambiance, hospitality and customers feeling they are having a good time can be spoilt by silly meanness and reduce the chance of return visits and recommendations. They have lovely interesting food and desserts and polite, attentive staff who then seem nasty for refusing tap water. Tip: play to you strengths (the food) + eliminate your weakness (give tap-water) = profit, repeat custom, success. This is a quick win. Would have got 5 stars otherwise. NB: No alcohol (even bring your own) allowed - fair enough, but they should advertise this, and also their tap water policy so the gap between expectation and reality is on the side of happiness not disappointment and annoyance..

This place is perfect for Mediterranean food Perfect taste the service is very professional and gentle the staff make sure that we enjoying out time . The price very reasonable We loved all the food I recommend you to have kebbah very tasty and juicy. Shawarma was bit dry , Juice and tea not that good . PS: the restaurant have back door private parking

Went in for a dessert. I ordered Arabic tea and basbosa with a side of ice cream. Tea was okay but served in an awkward teapot that leaked. Ice cream was nice. The basbosa was not basbosa but knefeh. It has cheese centre which basbosa doesn’t have. It tastes awful. Lousy customer service. The guy is trying to convince me it is basbosa instead saying they’re out. I make basbosa and also bought from others. Never coming here again.

This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my friends. Staff are very friendly and are very welcoming . However, I was expecting better food. The chicken cubes and burgul was very nice but the shawarma wasn’t the best. There was nice music playing in the background. I may visit this restaurant again.

For the first time since 3 years in UK this is the first restaurant that brings the Lebanese taste by 100%. Starting from cold mezze to hot mezze to the main dish and tea after you finish. Thanks Abo George for the special treatment. I will come back.

Came for Sunday dinner and it’s the busiest place in the area. Tabular Kitchen the go-to place if you like authentic Lebanese & Moroccan food. Food is fresh, flavourful & nicely presented. Service is attentive.

Me and my daughter came to this restaurant after a long day of work as we both like lebanese cuisine. It was pretty much empty at 5.30p and we sat down on the bench style tables. The tall chubby arab looking waiter came over and asked us to move to a 2 seater table in a rude tone, which didn't appear necessary (there was nobody else there) but ok i understand as it may get busy. We moved and he came to take our order, i ordered a vegan meze and my daughter ordered sharwama wrap along with drinks. The order came within 5 minutes. First impressions of my meze were not good, the patatoes where oozing oil like they had been refried. I wasnt going to eat them so i cut into my falafel, to my horror there was a curly short **HAIR** imbedded in there. I was glad it was discovered straight away and i hadnt started eating. I called the same waiter over and he immediately took my fork with the falafel off me and started to examine, he denied the hair was there. So i asked for the fork back and asked him to call another member of staff to which he suddenly saw the hair and blamed his eyesight. This made me furious. Mistakes happen, we are human, but to deny to my face. I regret not taking a picture before i called him. He quickly walked off and from the distance he said i will get another for you, to this i said no thank you as his attitude was terrible and customer service zero, consideration for hygiëne is obviously lacking. My daughter order of sharwama was also oozing oil out of the wrap and could not eat her food either. Very poor service and the food is below chip shop level. It appeared they refry the food. We just had drinks but paid for food we didnt eat. Not going there again. TABULE TEAM I suggest you brush up on your customer service, Very disappointed
