Went here last night using first table, would pay full price here though. The food it so good! And the staff are very attentive. Highly recommend

The Mezze Platter was very tasty and beautifully presented and the Toufaha Lemonade was delicious!! Adnan gave us fantastic service.

I came here for a quick lunch as I had to go somewhere. I only had to wait a few mins for my lunch and it was delicious. Dhruv served me and he was amazing, his recommendations were incredible. Great experience, I will be back and hopefully for a full meal.

I have been coming here for a few years now and definitely my favourite Lebanese restaurant in the city. Always delicious food, attentive staff and child friendly. The decor is beautiful too!

I had a fantastic experience at Comptoir Libanais thanks to Alessia’s outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome with her warm and friendly attitude. She was attentive throughout the meal, checking in at just the right moments and ensuring everything was perfect. Alessia clearly knew the menu well and gave us excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine care truly elevated our visit and added to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about creating a great experience for guests, Alessia is an absolute gem.

Amazing time here at Comptoir Birmingham! Food and drinks were to die for, took my mum for the first time as she had been dying to visit and it did not dissapoint. My hubby and I went on a lunch date. No specific destination in mind. Anyway we saw Comptoir Libanais and thought why not. We looked at the venue, and really didn't know what to order. Inside was amazing, Adnan was most helpful, and the food was so tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. If I was not out in public I would have liked my fingers off. Will definitely go back.

Such a brilliant gem in the city! They were flat out, but I was acknowledged quickly, and happy to wait for them to reset. The lovely manager was super efficient & charming. The menu is extensive ( and I was hangry - no breakfast yet 😬) so found it hard to decide. Adnoun was so helpful and suggestive but not forceful in the upsells. I decided on the Mezze platter for 1 with a side of the Halloumi & figs - SO divine! Just what I needed after having a head cold. I felt rejuvenated from all of the simple dishes that were executed to perfection! I congratulated Carlo the Chef - it really was just what I needed to set me up for my day of exploring. I wish we had this in Trinity Beach, Cairns, Australia! If I come back to Birmingham I will DEFINITELY dine here again! Thank you so much for your amazing service Adnoun & the divine food Carlo! Amazing service from Adnan WOW!!! 🏅Super friendly and so knowledgable about the menu. Adnan asked about allergies which impressed me so much as most restaurants do not even bother nowadays!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ He gave recommendations based on my dietary requirements and always had a smile on his face 😀

Do not order the large grill. For 5 quid extra i received one extra chicken wing and one chunk of chicken roughly an inch across.

Closest I have been to the Middle East in 5 years.

Food is fine just like all Turkish/Lebanese cuisine however it is extremely expensive and to our surprise they updated the platter menu, the one we used to previously order came with 2 lamb kebabs and chicken tikka/sheesh kebab skewer has been discarded. On the recent take away order for 17.7£ all we got were 2 lamb medium size (not even long) kebabs, with 2-3 tbs salad, tiny boxes 2tsp each of the sauce, 3tbs rice. Found it way too expensive as compared to other similar restaurants that we go too. The Hummus was again 4 tbs at maximum at price of 7£ approx. Service by the guy at reception was not very warm either, nothing impressive - perhaps they don’t value take away orders…. They should consider either putting in generous quantity or reducing the prices!!!!

The food was great and we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Good atmosphere, helpful staff too. The only criticism would be is that the brought our olives at the same time as our mains. Toilet facilities is there’s only one and could do with better cleanliness.

Review update!! Update review- I was prompted to email the manager after a real disappointing experience and after some back and fourth we were invited back with a free mezza platter , we were acknowledge this time and service was good. Food was nice. Strawberry daiquiris was very icy difficult to drink and lacked flavour. No check back or was we asked if we would like any more drinks. This place is alright and if you don’t mind minimal customer service you will be ok.
