Five star review as it was. Sadly it’s now closed, taken over and re-branded. Not in the same league I’m afraid.

Absolutely horrendous. Food was stone cold, poppadom and chips were soggy. The chicken dish I got was BRIGHT green, like something out of Homer Simpson’s powerplant. Whoever has voted this 5 stars needs their head shaking. NEVER AGAIN - I’d rather starve

delicious chicken madras full of flavour I used to go to the taaj restaurant 20yrs ago the quality has always been there the chefs take there time to produce delicious food the naan was delicious even the salad was perfect fresh and had the crunch the samosas were beautiful full of flavour this should be Michelin starred the food and hospitality is second to no other thank you guys even the delivery driver was very kind 100 out of 10 from me.

Nothing is too much for the staff at Taaj. Only ever had takeaway but delivery is always done with a smile and always on time and the food is spot on every time.

Ordered a takeaway tonight for me an my children an it was absolutely beautiful 😍 great service. everything was spot on! kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly reccomend and I will be back again very soon to eat in.

Curry was nice but everything was lukewarm as there was a 45 minute delay in delivering. Disappointed with poppadoms as very small, like shop bought ones. Sorry won't be ordering again.

Delivery good, food poor, take chicken burger off menu and the balti curries were shockingly poor. Kebabs dry and salty, only one sauce, keema rice was nice.

Prawn purée, gorgeous. Peshwari naan and chappatis good, curry tasteless. If I was blind folded I couldn’t of told you what curry I was eating. Very dissapointing.

Cheeseburger worst quality, take off the menu. Paratha was just a naan slightly fried. Garlic coriander naan was soggy due to condensation. Mixed kebab was okay, kebabs were dry, only one sauce. Keema rice was nice, delivery was late. Google review.

The best curry I’ve had since I moved to Huddersfield from Manchester 2 years ago, and the only Indian restaurant here I’ve found worthy of a review on JustEat. Delicious!!

Saw the great reviews, had to try. The curry was delicious, one of the best I've probably ever ordered from a takeaway. Pilau rice and chips also good. Pakoras I thought should be crunchier but these where not but tasted delicious. Chicken burger was not good though, soggy bun and salad due to heat of burger in the type of container it was sent in so my wife was disappointed with that part of the order. If you are wanting a great curry, this is the place to go though, 100%.

First time ordering from here and it didn't disappoint. One of the best curry's probably I have had. Arrived hot and well packaged and right on time.

Best curry house in hudds. Ordered twice from here now, got a range of curries and each were amazing in their own way. Lamb was succulent. Chicken tender. Prawns (although wishing for a few more) were amazing! If you’re South Asian make sure to ask for food to be made “desi style” and you will not be disappointed!

The food and delivery with this restaurant is normally really good. However, it got to 9:05pm and the food still hadn’t arrived. I called the restaurant to be told that they would ‘come straight out with it’ but it didn’t arrive for another 35 minutes. It all needed reheating and the driver said they had been to the wrong house, which is precisely the reason I provide the postcode when I place the order so that won’t happen. I’m prepared to accept that this likely a ‘blip’ as everything is normally really good. If it was the first time I had ordered though, I wouldn’t be coming back again.

Delays happen, things can go wrong. Just tell the customer about it before they have to come back to you and be honest. Food was over 1/2h late. Time was revised to +15minutes, but then food didn't actually arrive for another 45 minutes.

Can’t comment on the food as I never got to try it! What an absolute sheet show! Ordered food to collect and was told 30 minutes. . Nearly 90 minutes later I’m still sat waiting for my food, several tables have walked out and they’re just ignoring the phone at this point. I’m sorry but if you can’t fulfill orders don’t take them. The owner says they’re really busy which is fine and fair enough but don’t take my order and many others if you can fulfill them, it will just result in a negative experience and negative feedback. Now on the hunt for a replacement takeaway at 9pm. . Thanks

Perfection once again! Order notes followed and everything absolutely delicious! When most restaurants try to make a mild curry, it’s usually either bland or still too spicy! However from here it’s not spicy and full of flavour! (I’m a spice wuss) I also need to add that the chicken in the Malayan was beautifully cooked! Not rubbery and could tell it was fresh! I ordered a lamb tikka starter,chicken bangla karahi and egg fried rice,all these dishes were perfect for me, the only thig i ordered which wasn't up to scratch was the mushroom pakora..I found theese to be stodgy and unflavoured. apart from that I am very happy with everything else. 👍🏻

chicken tikka masala was sweeter than a pudding with 3 pieces of chicken. bengal green chilli had no kick to it at all in fact it lacked any heat whatsoever. first and last time

The food was marked as delivered at 20. 15hrs after calling restaurant, it was changed to 20.25. It finally arrived at 20.45pm, bland, cold the Poppadoms tasted of old greasy fat. The remainder of order was cold and bland. Never again that was a total waste of money as most of the order went in the bin.

BIG TIME!! ordered On the phone Small mild chicken curry for my 4 year old nephew Large lamb burner enough for x2 people 1 polar rice and 6 chapatis Salad and sauce I asked on the phone the totla coat of the price and was told £23.00 When the delivery guy came he added an extra tenner on, I told the divery man we was told it was £32. NOT HAPPY TAKES THE PISS!! Sort your management/ drivers out scammers peoples pockets out of order!!!!

cooked to perfection really well coke unfortuinetly they forgot to add flavour mush room baji had no seasoning at all was js mushroom in brown tasteless jucice and the chiken tikka main so juicy and succulent cooked to perfetion but tasted like js chiken with red food die not tikia flavour at all!!! pls add seasoning and taste the food befte u send out got poptential to be best takeaway in huddz js add flavor
