T Raj is a lovely curry house. Excellent value for money, the food is always brilliant. Service is always great, you’re never made to feel rushed either! Even if it’s busy, which it quite often is! We’ve had the pleasure of visiting on multiple occasions and never experienced a bad meal. Not just a lovely experience in the restaurant itself, but also a fantastic takeaway option too! The food is always of the highest quality and always arrives piping hot. If you like a top quality curry, then this is a must try if you’re in the area.

This was the best Indian takeaway I have had since lockdown. Food arrived on time, food was hot, and everything was cooked to perfection. Thank T Raj I will definitely be back. Prices were good as well and portion size.

Horrendous experience because of owner getting into a dispute.

Owner started an argument with us for no apparent reason when my friend got locked in the toilet and we asked for help in getting him out. The staff and service were great but that fuss with the owner completely ruined the experience.

Ordered a prawn bhuna and a white boiled rice with peas in. Got pilau rice with peas and a prawn bhuna with more fat/oil floating on the top than anything else. After a replacement delivery it all went in the bin un touched. Why is there so much oil and fat in all the meat dishes. They certainly do not use that much fat/oil in authentic Indian cuisine.

Went here for a meal with friends from work. It's not the best Indian I have had but still tasty and well portioned. I'm not sure if I'd visit again simply as there are other local Indian restaurants that I prefer

v tasty lamb rezalla, lovely mixed flavours and spices and the lamb was lovely and tender Garlic naan crispy tasty yet not over cooked. Only let down was the Kingfisher on draft which was a bit rough (lines need cleaning) -go for a bottle instead

Been going here since 1979, and they never disappoint me. I felt like trying something different so asked what they suggested and was told to try lamb naga and it was delicious. Will definitely have it again. Thank you for suggesting it. As usual food absolutely delicious.

Lovely food. Spacious and welcoming inside, with friendly and helpful staff. Extensive menu, and generous portions. Ordered a selection of dishes to the table, and each was distinct and well seasoned. Took some home in doggy bag and still great when reheated (not too oily like some also) Would highly recommend, for both delivery and eating in.

The taste of the food was AMAZING! Also the service was great, I enjoyed every mouthful I ate. And I would recommend this others, and I would like to go there soon.

Really lovely food, fantastic staff and great atmosphere

Popped in to grab a very small order for take away after visiting only once previously about 3 months ago. The waiter Tarik immediately welcomed us and remembered my partner and I. Not the cheapest but they were very generous; they even gave us 4 of the poppadom dips completely for free as they noticed we loved them. The food is very flavoursome and the staff were all so hospitable; we felt so very welcome and can't wait to come back soon. Also my girlfriend loves the fish tanks 🤣

Very accomodating. Chef made me a butter paneer instead of butter chicken despite butter paneer not being on the menu. We asked for spicy and the food was hot and spicy. Iqbal was very helpful as was the other gentleman with short hair.

Very enjoyable meal full of rich flavours, very juices and tender chicken and a Keema Naan absolutely stuffed with Keema. The waiters were very polite and efficient. Very much recommend coming here, best curry in many weeks, and I’ve tried plenty.

It was a Tuesday evening but to see this place completely empty on our arrival and departure was a surprise. The spice level of my dhansak was very disappointing but staff were friendly.

Ordered a madras but it tasted nothing like one. Hardly any spices in the sauce. My order arrived cold and with a missing item. Worst curry I have ever tasted.

First time trying this restaurant. The place was very clean, well presented and staff very friendly. We ordered what we usually would have ordered and asked for a special dish recommendation - they recommended the chicken Pathia and it was delicious! Tikka masala, lamb curry, onion bahjis, Bombay potatoes and naan bread was lovely. Everything was fresh and there was very little oil. Will definitely recommend and return! Thank you.

I’ve visited quiet a lot of different Indian restaurants, and although the food was not awful, it probably was one of the worst takeaways I’ve had to date. Both currys were completely unsalted so had no taste, after we’d added salt they were really nice hence the 4*, but I guess forgetting salt is a major mistake unfortunately. The Naan breads were VERY dry and strange tasting, kind of sweet or something. Starters were fine as well as the service so I’m leaving you with 4* like I mentioned but I hope no other client is given an unsalted meal :)

My friend Rachel and I came to T Raj for a curry. They have the best food, really tasty and aromatic. In the restaurant the food is delivered on a trolly and heat plates are provided it makes the experience amazing. Great customer service, definitely would recommend for eat in or takeaway!

Just had a Takeaway from this place, collected it on the way home from work. Ordered the Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken and Naan. Avoid the Butter Chicken, it’s like eating pure sugar with a few pieces of Chicken. The biryani is acceptable. Unfortunately the Butter Chicken had to be binned

As currently isolating I ordered a curry to be delivered I haven’t used T Raj for sometime but thought I would use them as they used to be very good The Food was delicious and very tasty and well prepared. We had aloo chat and chicken tikka purée as starters followed by King prawn Rogan , Sag aloo,pulao rice and an onion salad. A little less than usual due to Covid but just enough to be a filling meal T Raj will be on our regular eat in and takeaway restaurants in future

As ever, my wife and I had an amazing meal at T Raj, looked after very well by Iqbal. The menu has lots of options and the food is cooked to order, so it can take a little time to arrive. But that just gives you the opportunity to have some popadoms, a glass of wine or a Cobra beer and relax whilst chatting. The food itself is very tasty - this visit I had the chicken Balti, but I’ve tried a lot of dishes over the years, including Bhuna, Biriyani, Thali, Masala, Tikka and many more. The meat was very tender, the sauce very succulent and the accompaniments (naan and sag aloo) were scrummy. We have been frequenting this restaurant for 13 years, originally with our young son, who is now old enough to go to the restaurant with his mates. We also often get takeaways and the food is equally delicious. I would recommend T Raj to any curry lover, you won’t be disappointed. We’ll be back soon.

We usually receive a reasonable takeaway service, but something has changed, portions were tiny especially sheek kebab starter £5.10 for two minuscule bites, absolute RIP OFF, most of the other options also ridiculously small two smal chunks of chicken per portion and stone cold on arrival. Will never use again, £100.50 spent on tiny portions of food. AVOID AT ALL COSTS PISS TAKERS

Amazing Food All The Time, Served Perfectly And Tastes Spectacular

I do usually like this place. However for first time in ordering for a long time, I ordered the Prawn Shaslick that only had what seemed two prawns and the rest onions and peppers, which was really expensive. For how much we had spent, it was not great value for the price. We were also delivered a vegetable curry when in fact we ordered a vegetable rice which we did not receive. As well as this the food was quite salty. The salad and stuffed mushroom was nice though.

We as a family went for a meal tonight. 1st time since lock down. Very busy must admit but kept social distance measures. The serviced food was amazing. Staff was very welcoming from start to finish. At the end of our meal we had who seemed to be the boss man ask if everything was OK. Very very good service. Highly recommended.

Unless you want food poisoning asked to bring in food poisoning bodily fluids as evidence for my claim for simply asking for my money back after spending most of the time on the loo today, same for my friend who had exactly the same meal i suggest you avoid at all costs. This place needs to be shut down

Service very poor. Nonchalant attitude. Unfortunately burnt hand on their plate...no comeback no sense of how can we make this up to you. Disappointed and will cascade this story.

Place is Ok. Good for a big group but very slow service. Not good for veggies. Food is nice going down but not coming back up again later. Same as previous time but didn't think that was to do with the restaurant. Beware.

Take away ....expensive for all side dishes...very little chicken in main.....poor value for money and very average curry.....unusual for me odours still exiting my body and it's mid afternoon next day and I regularly eat curry 2 times a week so not very pleasant....15 years ago would be acceptable but now (especially locally) 2 or 3 other restaurants/take aways have really raised the bar

As local curry houses go, this is one of the most consistent. Friendly, family run and very nice food.
