T in Scarborough

Popped in for a drink but the food looked good and was reasonably priced. Nice bar/good atmosphere.

Poped in here for a coffee and a sandwich, very affordable and very clean and tidy place. If u eat upstairs wow there is an stunning view of north beach , staff are fantastic, so great food, great views,great ambience what mire could u ask for

Waited along time to be seated and even acknowledge waited 45 minutes for food half hour into being served told us that no lasagna so my partner had to have something else. Offered a round of drinks for slow service but took until we ate our food to come.

Shocking in these very difficult times. Don't get me wrong, the breakfast was pretty good, however..... There appeared to be just one young lady running around despite it being quite busy..... The problem arise when it came time to leave. Despite putting our masks on, and coats, we were left for almost 15 mins before I finally gave up, and went and stood by the door, whereupon a mature lady asked if we wanted a table!!! I said we had been waiting to pay and was frustrated at the slow response, but whilst waiting, we witnessed a couple leave, and then 2 elderly gentlemen were seared on the vacated table without so much as a wipe down, let alone a sanitize. We pointed this out to the mature lady, who promptly put down some dirty pots on the very same table.... Still no sanitizing. We will not return.

We were shown to our very seperate tables, after being told that we were ok to do this, and once we were seated we were then told that we would not be served. Telling us to leave. If we had just been stood behind eachother and sat on seperate tables it would not have made a difference. Ridiculous!!! Next time don't bother letting people in to then remove them for no reason!!

Advised waitress my food was cold she said I will tell someone even though not very busy nothing done very poor won't be going again not cheap either.

Such a shame. This was always our "go to" place in North Bay when it was previously Blue Crush. Thought we'd give it a whirl today. Weren't warned of any wait time. After over forty minutes we received our chips and nachos. The nachos were dreadful. No chilli flavour just clumps of mince. Nothing home made all out of a jar. The guacamole was super runny and tasteless. We try and support local businesses but unfortunately we'll just stick to drinks from now on. View to die for but won't risk food here again.

Was told by staff that there would be a 40 mins Wait for food in what didn't seem too busy a place. Very poorly organised staff and no signs of any safety equipment or preventative measures for Covid 19. Wont be back.

Waited over an hour for a bacon and a chicken and bacon ciabbatta. We were forewarned there was around a 25 minute wait which was fine. We ordered at the same time as relatives yet our food came out 20 minutes after. We nearly missed out on the sealife centre as we had booked tickets for 2pm, so had to ask for our food to go as we were in a hurry (we had arrived at 12:30 so thought we had plenty of time to get a sandwich and get to the centre.) There were no apologies for the wait and we were made to feel like a burden as they replied with "we haven't got tables free for new customers so I need to make space then ill check on your food". Had we not been waiting so long our table would have been free for new customers as we could have eaten at the same time as our relatives then left. The chips were nice enough but the ciabbattas were dry, there was no honey mustard on the chicken and bacon one as advertised and the bacon was like chewing rubber. Not impressed

Best thing about the place is the location and the coffee.... Food terrible...filthy toilets..

Disorganised table disribution, asked for an inside table and was given an outside one to be going on with. Half an hour to queue to order then an hour before the meal arrived. Not a good experience for a sandwich and chips. Customer service seems to be wanting during this virus episode.

Beautiful breakfast in the sun! Staff were busy but friendly. Good social distancing and lots of hand gel! Value for money! Great, thank you.

Visited today Tues.Utter chaos in a word.Staff had no clue as 2 who had been served & who hadn't. 4 in party 2 tea cakes arrived asked again where other 2 where, staff had no idea what they were doing, finally had 4 teacakes & 2 drinks when there were 4 of us.Drinks arrived 2 @ a time when we waited inside 4 the other 2.Staff need training in hospitality & manager needs training as there appears 2 be no order of who gets served at all.Totally rubbish.

Service was poor , was waiting 1hr for our food and when it finally arrived it was cold . Everyone seemed to be waiting ages and heard a few people complaining of the waiting time

Went for dinner today....absolutely awful! Only ordered Calamari as a light bite and nachos and both were warmed up frozen rubbish. The calamari was £6 for 6 pieces and barely warm, horrendous! The nachos were luke warm with chilli on that tasted out of date. A very expensive dinner at £20, so wont be visiting again. Watermark Cafe is less than 100 steps away and 100 times better, hence why it's always busy and Taylor's isnt.

Food was awful pizza was bad and it’s consistency was like a soup as well as fish and chips wasn’t perfect which is something I wouldn’t imagine that you can get bad fish in Scarborough a place where the fish should be perfect. Just to add ketchups were either expired or spoiled at least one of these was in fact expired that I checked and other one tasted bad. Overall wouldn’t recommend It’s dirty in there spoons lying on floor bunch of food on floor and dirt on sits just go to ask Italian or something like that for good food.

ok I suppose if you live around that area of the beach. food was ok'ish. my partner's drink was flat, (diet coke) I took it back for it to be replaced by another........ flat drink!! not good really, and no one around to sort it out. a tad pricey as well I will add. theres a lot better places around here in my opinion.

Love this bar in winter. Busy with tourists in the summer, but different character to the place in the dark evenings, or cheeky afternoons of drinks

Food was fine and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We had fun staying there and playing cards for a couple of hours.

Had a lovely meal fish and chips was well worth waiting for! Staff are great just make sure you order a bottle of Prosecco not a glass cause queues are alway big lol.

Open for drinks on Christmas Day! Lovely hot chocolate, lovely atmosphere and very chatty friendly staff. Really added to a pleasant Christmas visit to Scarborough!

Do not bother. Food disgustingly bad and service wasn't far behind.

Had to wait 43 minutes for a cajun halloumi wrap... Then when I got it it was obviously just halloumi dipped in a thick cajun sauce. It was so bad it actually made me gag. Cos me £11 for that wrap and a diet coke. Couldn't even eat most of it. Definitely avoid!!!!

Chips taste defrosted and kept heated up, and baguette did not taste fresh ham was OK but cheese in it tasted non fresh. Waited 1 hour.

Had drinks here after our walk sat outside due to having dogs + scooters, also ordered chips and after 40 minutes had to complain as they hadn’t arrived they said they was a long time as they was cleaning!!! Poor service

Had to wait 56 minutes on a fish and chips and fries. Little apologies or updates from staff. Also overheard two apologies to other customers but not sure what for. Would not visit ever again.

Very Disappointed - After walking from Sealife centre, with hardly any other food places, We entered the first place we came to... Walked in, Thinking it must be a nice place to eat due to being full, & Even though there was hardly no Suitable seating areas .. the ones that was free - Still had Old customers left overs on and tables was dirty! Ordered food to be told it was a 45min wait (which was expected considering the amount of custom) - After 1hr 30. had to go back to bar to ask where our food was ? ( we was not the only ones that was complaining) The food was served wrong ...and cold ! After spending nearly £70 ....should of just gone to the Burger van !! It would of been more satisfying. ...Downfall of our day - Would avoid this place !!

Went tonight for a nice meal with the family walked in and found a seat upstairs when we ordered told a 40 min wait which we thought ok we will wait ordered and waited we ordered at 6:35 at 7:25 went to see where the food was only to be told it had not been 40 mins since we ordered I asked if we could have the kids food asap as they were getting restless we then waited till 7:50 when their food turned up to be told our adult meals were the next ticket with no apology we then asked for red sauce for the kids to be brought a bottle that exploded when opened and smoked it looked like a bottle of champagne when the cork pops. When our food turns up my husband's scampi was not fresh and the other meal the meat was black we ate up and left at 8:15. We are residents of Scarborough and we would not recommend this place we spent £60 and was not worth it.
