Reale chinesische Küche, preiswert und autentisch zugleich. man fühlt sich im fernen Osten und wird von chinesisch stämmigen Damen sehr freundlich bedient.

This was the only take away open in the area nearest to our hotel after the Foo Fighters concert and was only serving a basic menu choice as it was 11pm but they did their best with the volume of customers that were coming through the door and the chips, fried rice and curry sauce that were on offer did the job after a night of drinking and dancing I suppose.

I arrived in Edinburgh on the late side and was not in the mood for anything other than casual takeout to relax in the garden where I was staying. I ordered from Szechuan Kitchen through HungryHouse (as I only had Wifi and no cellular service yet). The chicken fried rice and satay chicken were both fantastic. I won't pretend to be an expert on authentic Szechuan food, but I was very pleased with both dishes.

Small is often wonderful or Priceless, so I think that the Szechuan Kitchen is a little GEM. Its easy to miss the entrance door which is next to a flower shop opposite Haymarket Railway station. I thought it had only 4 tables at the front but there are a few more in the middle of the building. The owners are from China and offer tradional style cooking which is of a high standard and flavour. Prices are reasonable and on par with others in the area. A pleasant interior and nice gentle chinese music which went well with the excellent meal. The portions are generous and the banquet most enjoyable. Chinese beer is also available. Top of my list next time I visit Edinburgh

By far the most authentic made food I've had so far in Edinburgh with a very tasty and traditional style. A small restaurant, but the interior design is so cosy and warm, with nice Chinese music played in the background. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for REAL CHINESE food!

Excellent authentic food. The dishes are very unusual and different to your average Chinese restaurants. It reminded me of my visit to China. The dishes are reasonably priced. Highly recommended experience and I would definitely go back.

We had a banquet meal on Saturday night. Very unusual mixture .but must say we enjoyed it vegetables where nicest I have tasted &fresh . wasn't sure about mince kind of thing with pancakes . would go back but probably wouldn't get set menu
