We ordered the set meal for 2 last night. Having never ordered from here before we were pleasantly surprised! It was absolutely amazing! Good quality meat, the curry sauces were well made and seasoned. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

Unfortunately the Chicken Burger Meal was inedible but the other 2 meals were fine.

The most tasteless cold curry I have ever eaten. Awful won’t be ordering again. Popadom was also soft and stale.

We have never had such gorgeous food, we used to have Indian food from various places but they could never match what you get from the Sylhet Royal they are amazing, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Amazing. Sylhet Royal is probably one of the best authentic restaurants around here. The service is amazing and the staff are friendly, polite and go out of their way to advise you on dishes you are not too sure about. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you go.

Booked a takeaway, took over an hour to arrive and was Luke warm at best on arrival. Nothing had any true Indian flavours, although meat was good, sauces lacked spices. First time we have used this takeaway, it will be the last. There are a lot better Indian resturants in the local area than this one. Such a shame based on the reviews we read.

It was delivered on time but that was still an hour for two items!! The main course was cold and the onions Bhajis were very greasy. I won’t buy from this restaurant again

food was lovely I work away and try many Indian restaurant. this was best meal I've had the nagas potato side was beautiful, had saag aloo to asked for madras hot and was perfect, rice was lovely too. 👍

Korma sauce tasted off, pilau rice was very sweet and poppadoms were too thin! Couldn’t eat it

Quality wasn't the best! Chicken was that chicken roll you find down the frozen aisle, tastes like the cheap sandwich stuff. Texture was very processed and odd. Naan bread was incredibly dry. Not the best Indian around here.

Awful quality food, the chicken tikka starter had no flavour, was only coloured to look like Tikka and was an awful texture, I didn’t eat it as didn’t look properly cooked. The chicken tikka korai had no tikka flavour or any other flavour, it was strange thin sauce that looked like pasta sauce. Luckily I could eat the rice and vegetable curry though that was not good quality either. I won’t be going here again, total waste of money

This was the best Indian food takeaway that we have had in ages. Food was hot, everything we ordered was there and the food was fabulous. This will be our new go to for take out.

Visiting Felixstowe so thought I’d try a local Indian, wish I hadn’t. Worst curries I’ve had, ever and I’ve had a lot. Ceylon curry was plain tomato sauce with chilli and the lamb was swallowed up in all the watery sauce. Got the ‘new’ honey chicken, this was a Chinese sweet and sour dish, so disappointed and feel completely ripped off. I really hope you learn to improve the recipes and put some care into your cooking to respect your heritage.

Sorry to say the food was awful. Three very different curries were supposed to have been delivered, but the chicken passanda, the pineapple curry and the butter chicken all looked identical, tasted exactly the same, and were swimming in a watery, bland, grainy red sauce. Really quite unpleasant. Paid over £40 for two basic meals, sharing a portion of rice, and we threw away probably £35 worth. Very disappointed - we will not be ordering from there again.

Absolutely perfect in every department! We placed a very large order for 13 people at short notice and the order was ready to collect bang on time. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot, every dish ordered was packed full of authentic flavour (btw, anyone looking for an extra hot dish the Chilli Masala is the one)… be warned tho, the portion sizes are massive, so elasticated waistband may be required! Best Indian in Trimley Felixstowe

Cold food. Over an hour late and when I called them, I was told that they had tried to call which was a lie- no communication at all and food was redelivered cold

The worst Indian food we have ever had very rude receptionist food turned up 1 hour late food cold salad was warm ...we will be demanding our money back

I ordered for takeout as I live 3 minutes up the road for collection, it took just over an hour could have been less waiting time if I'm honest. I don't want to come across rude at all as your staff were lovely when I came in to collect my food, just thought you would like a review for feedback that's all. I got all the food I ordered which was brilliant but my chips were hard and very brown, way too crunchy and my garlic nann bread was already cold and had no flavour to it unfortunately, my potatoe and spinach was quite over done and a little salty but the chicken korma and rice was probably the best thing I ordered. It was okay price for the things I ordered but not really for the time I waited or quality of half my food. I have ordered from here before years ago and it was lovely but seems different. If order was quicker I would possibly buy again hoping it might be different. Thank you

Women on the phone asked me to repeat myself more then 4 times making me feel like it was me. she sounded drunk. Ordered a vegetable curry all I got was peas sweetcorn bits and potatoes didn't taste good at all. Forgot my poppdoms. Wont be returning **update** Following from your reply. As a fellow business owner in Felixstowe I find it highly unprofessional that you would act this way to an honest criticism, I have ordered these dishes from you previously so I no what to expect. Before accusing me for being a drunk l, And to top it all off, to sort my life out before noing who i was and what I represent, was a mistake.

The service was spot on . The food was lovely,fantastic and full of flavour . Had a lovely time,staff could not do enough for us all. They went far and beyond for us all. Our first visit, we sat in on Friday night, just the two of us. Had a shared starter and then mains with rice and a naan. Quality and quantity was excellent throughout, staff friendly. Happy to recommend.

Waited 2 hours for our meal after being told 45 mins to one and half hours delivey time, chased it after hour and half and told it will be leaving soon. When it arrived onion bhajis were cremated and the nan, not garlic nan that i ordered was undercooked, doughy and chewy. Food was not that good, very ordinary, have they changed their chef? But not their delivery driver as was same length of time for delivery last time as well. Dont order from here if you live in felixstowe and definitely don't order the burnt bhajis or undercooked naan, won't be ordering here again, menu now in recycling bin.

I've been ordering for a while now. It's usually a 50 minute waiting time, but really worth the wait every single time. Vast vegetarian menu options which are flavourful and perfected.

Excellent meals from this restaurant. We had Lamb Jalfrezi and Chicken Methi Saag Naga plus rice, poppadoms and breads. Plenty of everything, proper feast, all delicious.

First time ordering from Sylhet Royal on Saturday. It was easy to order and pay over the phone with card payment. We chose the set meal for two persons, the food was delicious! Everything was cooked wonderfully and full of authentic flavour, we were very impressed! Food was delivered earlier than projected - we will order again 😊

Ordered takeout over the weekend. wasn't overly impressed. the curry was very salty and had a texture like mashed carrot. Bombay aloo was obviously microwaved and not cooked through properly.
