This has to be the worst curry I have ever had, most of which ended up in the bin! Onion Bhajis were absolutely tasteless! Bombay Aloo just the same... tasteless! Curry itself was so bland that the rice was the tastiest part of the whole meal!!

Just had our 3rd takeaway (have also eaten in twice), and again absolutely delicious! Speed of service appears to have improved as well, fingers crossed that continues as they are now our family's firm favourite!

Ordered before from here as we are nearby. Normally very nice, well spiced and seasoned etc. Unfortunately this time, everything was a bit bland, so we ate very little. Perhaps just a bad day, so we’d try them again. However you can’t put things right if you don’t know. Please take this in the constructive way it is intended. Thank you.

My absolute fav Indian, never disappoints!

Was not to my liking the vindaloo had little flavour but had an over powering heat which tasted like Naga pickle, it also tasted sweet like sugar had been added to counter the hot naga chilli taste. The onion Bhajis had no crisp and were soggy. The keema naan meat had little taste and bread was doughy. The Chicken Tikka was good quality and the rice was good, even the mint sauce had too much sugar, everything becomes quite sickly and I only ate a quarter of it.

Great as always, highly recommend this place!

Probably the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Very very very bland! Not a single bit of spice. Extremely disappointed. First time ordering from here and certainly the last.

I hardly think informing you of the over use of salt was a complaint and three stars isn't a bad review iv now amended that review to one star because of your bad customer service. Also, the only time you refunded money was when you charged me twice for the same order then denied it until I proved it by bringing in a bank statement (something that probably happens alot) and just so you know I ordered lastnight through a third party and the food hasn't improved!

waited over an hour for ok food. can taste that the oil was old to cook the poppadom and chips. the curries were hot but lacked spice completely, a vindaloo is supposed to be very spicy. probably won't order here again.

We ordered the set meal for 2 last night. Having never ordered from here before we were pleasantly surprised! It was absolutely amazing! Good quality meat, the curry sauces were well made and seasoned. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

The most tasteless cold curry I have ever eaten. Awful won’t be ordering again. Popadom was also soft and stale.

We have never had such gorgeous food, we used to have Indian food from various places but they could never match what you get from the Sylhet Royal they are amazing, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Amazing. Sylhet Royal is probably one of the best authentic restaurants around here. The service is amazing and the staff are friendly, polite and go out of their way to advise you on dishes you are not too sure about. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you go.

Booked a takeaway, took over an hour to arrive and was Luke warm at best on arrival. Nothing had any true Indian flavours, although meat was good, sauces lacked spices. First time we have used this takeaway, it will be the last. There are a lot better Indian resturants in the local area than this one. Such a shame based on the reviews we read.

It was delivered on time but that was still an hour for two items!! The main course was cold and the onions Bhajis were very greasy. I won’t buy from this restaurant again

Korma sauce tasted off, pilau rice was very sweet and poppadoms were too thin! Couldn’t eat it

Quality wasn't the best! Chicken was that chicken roll you find down the frozen aisle, tastes like the cheap sandwich stuff. Texture was very processed and odd. Naan bread was incredibly dry. Not the best Indian around here.

If you want to dine in this food palace then you will have to pay cash BUT you can bring your own alcoholic drinks (no corkage). It now has a very smart and large car park. The menu is copious, the service is excellent and attentive and the food is delicious and plentiful. There were 4 of us and we all loved our chosen dishes. Including soft drinks, a starter each, a main dish and extras that came in under £30 pp. It is well worth seeking out this hidden jewel in Trimley, near Felixstowe in Suffolk. IP11 0FE.

Awful quality food, the chicken tikka starter had no flavour, was only coloured to look like Tikka and was an awful texture, I didn’t eat it as didn’t look properly cooked. The chicken tikka korai had no tikka flavour or any other flavour, it was strange thin sauce that looked like pasta sauce. Luckily I could eat the rice and vegetable curry though that was not good quality either. I won’t be going here again, total waste of money

This was the best Indian food takeaway that we have had in ages. Food was hot, everything we ordered was there and the food was fabulous. This will be our new go to for take out.

Visiting Felixstowe so thought I’d try a local Indian, wish I hadn’t. Worst curries I’ve had, ever and I’ve had a lot. Ceylon curry was plain tomato sauce with chilli and the lamb was swallowed up in all the watery sauce. Got the ‘new’ honey chicken, this was a Chinese sweet and sour dish, so disappointed and feel completely ripped off. I really hope you learn to improve the recipes and put some care into your cooking to respect your heritage.

Sorry to say the food was awful. Three very different curries were supposed to have been delivered, but the chicken passanda, the pineapple curry and the butter chicken all looked identical, tasted exactly the same, and were swimming in a watery, bland, grainy red sauce. Really quite unpleasant. Paid over £40 for two basic meals, sharing a portion of rice, and we threw away probably £35 worth. Very disappointed - we will not be ordering from there again.

Absolutely perfect in every department! We placed a very large order for 13 people at short notice and the order was ready to collect bang on time. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot, every dish ordered was packed full of authentic flavour (btw, anyone looking for an extra hot dish the Chilli Masala is the one)… be warned tho, the portion sizes are massive, so elasticated waistband may be required! Cold food. Over an hour late and when I called them, I was told that they had tried to call which was a lie- no communication at all and food was redelivered cold

The worst Indian food we have ever had very rude receptionist food turned up 1 hour late food cold salad was warm ...we will be demanding our money back

I ordered for takeout as I live 3 minutes up the road for collection, it took just over an hour could have been less waiting time if I'm honest. I don't want to come across rude at all as your staff were lovely when I came in to collect my food, just thought you would like a review for feedback that's all. I got all the food I ordered which was brilliant but my chips were hard and very brown, way too crunchy and my garlic nann bread was already cold and had no flavour to it unfortunately, my potatoe and spinach was quite over done and a little salty but the chicken korma and rice was probably the best thing I ordered. It was okay price for the things I ordered but not really for the time I waited or quality of half my food. I have ordered from here before years ago and it was lovely but seems different. If order was quicker I would possibly buy again hoping it might be different. Thank you

The quality of the food is amazing. Everything is so well-cooked and perfectly spiced. The ingredients tasted so fresh and not greasy like a lot of places. So, so good. Highly recommend!!
