Hannah and her team were excellent both during planning meetings and on the day. Lovely room. Allowed us to use own room decorator. Food simple but good and well presented. House wine choice is fine. The evening dj was excellent and his range of music suited everyone. Bar prices are a little steep for a private club but if you join as a social member you get 20% discount. Overall a memorable day

We booked the function room for a funeral. Staff were great and was good until we were asked if we minded members walking through the middle of our function to get to the member's lounge. They had a champagne tasting event in part of the member's lounge and they had objected to member's walking through. I advised that we weren't happy with people just walking through, it would be distressing for some relatives. Despite this, various groups of people started wandering through and we then noticed staff had opened a door in the partitioning for them! So clearly they just ignore people who have paid to hire a room and do whatever they want anyway. Shame on you, it was a funeral!!!

Played a round on 3-20-19. It was my first visit. The course layout is typicly parkland style, it will be incredible with all the trees once nature awakes... I guess it suits all level of golfers... I would absolutely recommend to play there, if You have not done it so far...

I was lucky enough to attend a wedding at Swinton Golf club. The room was laid out beautifully, staff were friendly and attentive and the food was top class ! We had pate to start, a delicious roast beef dinner with all the trimmings (one of the best I’ve ever had !) and a mouth-watering Apple crumble to finish. House wines were nice, bar was reasonably priced. A great wedding at a lovely venue. The golf course looked great too 😊

Great food, excellent live music and disco exceptional value for money Good choice of wine included with meal, three free drinks vouchers and welcome drink included in the price of the ticket. Dress was either formal or smart. Will def go again
