A good place to have quality cocktails. Very crowded on a Saturday night. It seems you can book a table beforehand and it’s probably good to do so. We got in at a standing place and later moved on to a standing place with 1 barstool. you should get the „Shanghaied“ it’s very good

As a person that his occupation is about bartending , hospitality and training people in this matter , I confidently can claim , that measuring all the things together , this is the best bar in London ! Fast service, exactly what you want, super polite and helpful staffs , amazing menu , never say no to your request ( obviously as long as they are reasonable ) , precise , ... what can I say more?!

Go for their Irish Coffee. Downstairs has much better dim lit atmosphere.

Walk-in, but lucky enough to get some seats in the lower floor. The staff was very friendly and willing to help whenever needed. We had four cocktails, and they all knocked it out of the park. The very popular Irish Coffee is justifiably famous: outstanding balance, depth of flavour, two temperatures, different textures, visually attractive… It has it all. Fourth Wall brings forward the scotch in a dangerously drinkable mix. Rigoletto and Silhouette were spot on, with perfect harmony from all the elements.

STUNNING. I would give 6 stars if I could! I'm going to be dead honest when I say, I thought this place was going to stink. I'd seen the press, and heard the chatter, and figured it was just going to be yet another trendy craft cocktail bar that is more style than substance. Let me first say how absolutely, utterly wrong I was. I had chosen this spot for a quick one-off before going elsewhere. I think we stayed for... 3 rounds? 4? I lost count, we were having such an incredible time. (We did have dinner plans for real.) Loved it. The atmosphere was marvellous. No pretentious hosts or bartenders. Other patrons all seemed to be chill and happy. The place is gorgeous. The upstairs and downstairs are like two different worlds, but somehow both are amazing. I grabbed a spot at the bar downstairs and it was the best choice. Our bartender was simply fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and skilled. Best of all worlds, really. Each cocktail was really well-balanced, and while a few leaned to the sweet side a bit too much for my partner, none were too over the top. To me, it's a mark of achievement to make a drink based on a humbug and not have it cloyingly, sickly sweet. It was smooth and lucious without being obnoxiously gimmicky. And strong. I like strong. In England, getting strong cocktails can be a bit of a wild goose chase, but here, the pours are solid. I was so impressed by the quality of every drink. The absolute best bit was at the end, the bartender gave us a small taste of their famous Irish coffee. I hadn't wanted to order one because, I mean, how good could it possibly be? It's just an Irish coffee and I assumed the hype was overblown. It isn't. It is honestly the most spectacular Irish coffee I've had in my life. In all honesty, I've had a lot of bad ones, so the bar is low, but this was something on another level. People aren't kidding when they say to order this. Excellent, excellent visit and I can't wait to return again. (And please, our biggest thanks to the bartender! Please tell him he is amazing! (I wish I could remember his name but he's in one of my photos.)

Came here for some drinks with my partner and found my new favourite bottle of whiskey. This is the Swift Soho, there are two floors; the downstairs bar is reservations only and serves more exquisite, complex drinks; the upstairs bar is more chill, walk-in and more rowdy. We booked a few days in-advance and sat downstairs. We had several cocktails and they were special but not out of the world. However, the whiskey collection they had and the service we received were excellent. I was asking the waiter for some whiskey recommendations and he gave me two options. He even let me try a small sample of each to help me decide which one to get. It was truly a great experience and we will come back for the amazing atmosphere and service!

Amazing cocktails and very kind staff. Fun vibes and not pretentious at all. Everybody kept ordering Irish coffees. I enjoyed the vodka mixes and backstage. Get downstairs if you can. They have a pianist!

Very much enjoyed this bar! The bar tenders were so friendly and made delicious cocktails. They went at our pace, answered questions and were very knowledgeable. I was enjoying the non-alcoholic drinks and all were delicious, but the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their drinks as well.

Best Irish coffee in town ! And with a vegan option available as well. Martha on the floor was fantastic, bar staff friendly and helpful. Honestly refreshing to go somewhere in soho that doesn’t have a staffing that is burned, short or that lost faith in genuine hospitality. Keep it up guys. 🙌

The Irish Coffee 🥰. Treat yourself on a hot summer lunchtime to a sneaky Scroppino (lemoncello sorbet and prosecco) alone and contemplate the best things in life. The best date night bar in London..check out the whisky selection. You will never have a bad night or drink here the venue is manned by the most professional and fun hospitality people in town. Celebrate how lucky we are to have this venue on our doorstep!

We sat both upstairs and downstairs and loved and highly recommend both! The drinks were delicious and the staff was so engaging and patient with all of our questions.

If you’re in Soho, I highly recommend this bar cause its cocktails. Just ask which signature cocktails they would recommend for your taste and drink every single one of them!!! You may not be able to stop :))

Lovely bar in the middle of soho. Fantastic cocktails are reasonable prices (£11-£14 each) for the area. Particularly enjoyed the Green Room cocktail. The staff were attentive and pleasant as well.

Amazing drinks! I would definitely give 5 stars for the drinks. One of the best cocktails in central London:) I’ve been to here many times and all the cocktails are absolutely tasty and nice presented. - Friendly and warm services in the beginning by two staffs ( A lady and a guy with curly hair) 5 out of 5 services by them :) - Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the service at last few minutes. We were group of 4 people and each of us had 2 cocktails. We were informed to go up to the G floor where we can finish our drinks after we finished the payment - and we actually moved even tho there’s only tiny lil drinks left in our cups) We totally understand that the time limit for a busy Friday night. We tried our best to finish our drinks ASAP on the G floor, stood closely to a empty table - But we’ve informed again by a tall, rude, male staff with short hair that we have to move finish the drinks closely to the entrance :)

The swift Irish coffee is to die for. Right blend of sweet, spice, booze, cream and coffee. The old fashioned is slightly on the sweet side but very good and a great chilled temperature. Highly recommend either drink. The spend per person is based on one drink.

We recently went for cocktails after trying their branch in Shoreditch where we had one of the best dirty martinis ever. Unfortunately the martini isn’t consistent & we ended up having to order other cocktails (I had the gimlet which was delicious).

Cocktails were lovely, an actual variety of flavours for once. A bit on the spenny side but you get what you pay for. Staff were delightful, every single person we interacted with was a dream, even the door staff... who knew there were friendly door staff!

A very bad store. One of the waiters in the store was a racist. One of our friends went to the bathroom. We waited outside. The waiter was very rude and chased us up without making us wait downstairs and chased us away many times. And I told him I was a customer of the store. But he said very rudely, I don't care! Doesn't care if we file a complaint against him. And said go now. He was very rude and a racist. The size of the store is also very small and the experience is poor. I swear I won't go back to this store.

This is a very nice bar located in the heart of Soho. We were lucky to find space for two on a Friday night around 9 PM. They're renowned for their exceptional Irish Coffee, but all the other cocktails are definitely worth a try. In particular, the sweet cocktails are expertly blended, based on our experience. The chili rice crackers and smoky snack mix are tasty nibbles that complement the drinks, adding a satisfying crunch and a bit of fullness if you're hungry. At the end of our visit, they even brought us two tiny glasses of Irish Coffee as a kind gesture, which was a lovely touch.

Easily one of the best cocktail places in London - we walked-in so sat upstairs as no room downstairs. I think there's a different, maybe longer, menu downstairs so will defo return for that. Cocktails sublime, we had the rhubarb and custard, rhubarb sour, rochelle, and carmen. All tasted incredible, and felt reasonably priced. All arrived very quickly, even though the bar was very busy. Staff very friendly and helpful, even in what must be quite a pressured working environment.

The bar to go to. Friendly service. Consistent cocktails and a great menu. Worth booking in advance when possible but also a great spot for just walking into when craving a drink.

Great atmosphere here and friendly, quick service. The bar is over two floors. The cocktail I tried was outstanding. Had the chameleon which was as good as I’ve had for a long while. Prices at £15 and with an additional 12.5% service charge. Enjoyed this quick treat.

Swift deserves its reputation as one of the world's best bars! My wife and I visited on June 11th and had our place reserved downstairs. The menu is unique and creative, and the drinks were delicious (recommend the Old Compton, Bienville, & Broadway). Our waitress (Sophie) was very nice and knowledgeable! Thank you for making our trip to London memorable! :)

Oh, the guard there is definite a racist to Asian. Very rude and double standards. When his people is fighting for equality and equity for the whole world, he’s trying to drag it back to 1950s. Such a shame. I went there twice. The first time I didn’t realize as I just felt uncomfortable while the second time I was sure that we were discriminated, especially when compared with the way other customers being treated. No apologies and being rude always.

Quite simply put, one of the best bars I've ever been to. Annoyingly I've forgotten the bar staffs name, but he made us some absolutely fantastic cocktails and introduced us to the world of Pedro Ximenez!! Also, the Irish Coffees there are out of this world! Brilliant bar. Wish we spent more time there. Only one downside is due to the licensing laws in the area, they close at 12, but definitely worth a visit!

I popped in with my wife for a few drinks at the bar. Overall it's a lively place with a great selection of drinks and a legend behind the bar who pours with two jiggers in one hand at a time, makes cocktails like a machine for the entire venue, tops up your water, recommends drinks and explains the spirits. You will leave with your entire shirt splashed with spirits, but it's part of the experience and totally worth it👌🏻

By far one of the best bars I've been to for classic IBA and modern cocktails. Bar tenders are well versed and have been able to make me some of the most rarefied cocktails that even the more high end bars haven't been able to make. Great staff too that remember your preferences and recommend new cocktails to taste.

A proper cocktail bar! One of the best things they do is the Irish coffee - perfectly smooth and balanced. Although I don't understand all the people who come here to drink prosecco, wine or beer!

Had two amazing nights in here on my trip to London this week. Atmosphere of the place is top notch and feels quite exclusive. Drinks were fantastic, unique and pretty strong. Big shoutout to Tom on bar staff, he definitely made our night. Spoke with us for a long while and seemed to have a genuine passion for his job which showed through his service and quality of drink making. 100% worth the visit if you’re in the area and will definitely be back if I return to London again. 10/10!!!

A top notch cocktail bar in the heart of Soho. Swift takes the business of cocktails seriously. I always the chose the downstairs bar for its warm, whiskey coloured lighting and ambience. The house special is Irish Coffee. Not the version your Mum and Dad would order in the 1980’s but a rich, velvety one that tickles your tastebuds. The cocktail menu is original and full of unusual blends - we chose a Broadway and a Foxtail. Delicious. If you fancy a quality cocktail at the quiet end of Old Compton St, Swift is your place.

Just wow…visiting Swift was the best cocktail bar experience any of us have ever had. The space is quaint but gorgeous, the staff is friendly and so knowledgeable, the 8 drinks we tried were all absolutely fantastic, and the snacks delicious and will add to your visit. This is a must do when in London. And yes, the Irish coffee really is as good as people say it is.

The environment, drinks and staff are great. Make sure to make a reservation or you won't find a seat.

Homophobic staff kicked us out and said we weren’t welcome there. Not cool.

Whiskies are superb and reasonably priced. I tried Glen Scotia Victoriana from Campbeltown and Small batch Wolfburn. Fabulous. The piano player was good too. Great place.

We had old fashioned, rubarb coctail, espresso martini and Irish whiskey. Old fashioned, rubarb cocktail and Irish whiskey were really good. Yet, espresso martini disappointingly was very watery. There was very limited seating area which we didn’t like. Prices for cocktails was very reasonable.

Irish coffee is amazing, generally brilliant cocktails, but you will get charged for water and they do not tell you this.

If you are alone don’t go to this bar. I was downstairs and since there was at least 2 empty tables for 2 next to me i asked the waitress if i could seat in one. She said no, that they were reserved but there was clearly no reservation! No sign at all and a couple arrived minutes later and she said they could chose the table. I drank something really fast at the balcony and left feeling unwelcome. Also paid in cash and the exchange was not correct (and i asked prior to the order if i could pay by cash)

Had a reservation for a special evening, but was a bit early/ told to come back. On time, wait on the queue, then herded down the steps like cattle. No thanks! No probs if you don’t want us early, but be kind. Respect those who book and adhere to your restrictions for time limit and spend minimum- don’t treat us like teenagers getting into a club. We always loved this place, but that was the end of the run- prefer to be treated better…. Nice drinks, inside staff was better, but was already thinking of all the lovely cocktail bars we can spend our money instead. Know your customers…

A gem in the heart of Soho, there is no doubt that this bar has deserved its spot on the 50 best bars in the world multiple times. The exquisite drinks, service, atmosphere, and live music guarantee you an experience that you can’t get enough of. Would definitely recommend it to anyone! PS: Mind that it is a little bit tight if you are a group bigger than 4!

very great bar with a lot of atmosphere I discovered the bar with my best friend when we were on vacation in London. The waiters are very attentive and always give you more water or give you advice about the best cocktails. The alcoholic drinks are strong but you want to get something for your money. We thought the cocktails were super great, whether with or without alcohol. That's why we came back the next day. The bouncer is also very friendly and funny. Great team! we'd love to come back

The worst bar I’ve ever been in London, the staffs are very rude. Their drinks are not very good. They have super unprofessional attitude, our drinks was taken away before we finished it. They seems in rush and wanted to drive us away. They let’s us pay the bill asap. Anyway a very bad experience here…

There is a reason Swift is on the top 50 cocktail bars in London. While the ground floor drinks are nice, the bar downstairs is exceptional. Not only are the drinks amazing, exceptionally crafted, nicely drawn menus with artisan style drinks, the atmosphere also is nice, the staff is friendly and you don't wait ages for the next round. One of my top favorites. The menu will change once or twice a year!

We went there on a Friday night and had to queue for about 20min which is fine as they carefully watch that the bar is not crowded. You won‘t find the usual cocktails there on the menu which is a big plus. Very innovative menu. Obviously you can ask the classics. We got Margaritas that weren‘t on the menu and we got even asked if we wanna have ice in the drink and a salted rim. I love the customization and love for details! Only negative point was that it can get extremely loud in the bar so a normal conversation might be hard depending on where you sit. But I loved the overall experience!

We went there in November 2023 and the service was excellent. The waiter knew exactly what goes in each cocktail and can guide the customers with allergies. He topped up the drinks and offered to take more orders on time, it was a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

An exceptional evening - fantastic cocktails, and whisky lovers should make sure to ask for the selection - they have a fantastic range of rare and interesting bottles off menu. All accompanied by live music. It was also a real pleasure to be served by Sam - it’s a treat to meet someone so passionate and knowledgable about the drinks they’re serving.

The Downstairs at Swift Soho is one of the top bars in London, and beyond. The cocktails and whiskies are top-notch, and so are the bartenders. I’ve been here with a bigger group at a table and with one other person at the bar, and I’ve left happy both ways. The bartenders know their stuff, and the cocktails are well designed. They taste great, they are interesting, and everything we drank was made well. We’ve had drinks that were boozy and bitter, light and refreshing, full and sweet, and spots in between. They were never too sour or too sweet, or too funky or too strong. Several of them even went beyond being good to being inspiring—I have new ideas for how to use the aquavit that I rarely open, and my partner decided he might not hate peaches after all. Their whisky collection also stands out. They have bottles that are familiar and bottles that most of us have never seen. Before founding Swift, the owners worked at some of the top bars in the US and England. They made this into one of the world’s best, and the bartenders I’ve seen are keeping it there.
