Sweethouse & arabic food in Birmingham

I have to give this 10 marks out of 10! There isn't a specific menu or price list, which didn't bother me much because it's more about the food. There was a slight language barrier, but it was no big deal. They offer both uncooked and pre-cooked foods, including salmon, lamb, goat, chicken kebabs, etc. They also had biryani rice and flatbreads to choose from. They gave me a complimentary soup, which tasted absolutely fantastic. I received my food within minutes of ordering, and it was plentiful. I ordered lamb shank with two chicken kebabs with rice and a side dish of salad with limes. I was literally in heaven the whole time I was eating my lunch. I couldn't finish it, but I did as a sign of respect to these people. The staff was friendly, courteous, and respectful, filled with smiles. My food came to £18, which was definitely worth it. I urge everyone to come and try this Arabian food! Thank you.

Beautiful fresh food very tasty friendly staff value for money.

Excellent food and value for money. Ideal for the whole family as you get the flavours without the spice. They have cubicles available which have curtains for that added privacy.

Food was great, lovely hot green chilli sauce,this restaurant make their own fresh chilli sauce and it Hot really complements the rice meat chicken when added.

Good fresh cooked shish lamb. Packed in a bit messy way for take away but still tasty.

The food was so bad and unhygienic i wouldn't even rate it 1 star .There were left over pieces of meat clearly chewed by the previous customer with burnt black kebabs .The food was not cooked fresh at all .Very disgusting!

Quick lunch stop. Ordered a platter for 3. It was a huge portion. Delicious rice, pasta, grilled chicken, chicken kofta, lamb kofta, chicken shawarma, huge chunks of meat served with fresh crunchy salad. Could not finish the meal! Very satisfying indeed. 7/10

Very friendly and kind staff. Went out their way to provide us with good facilities for wudhu and prayers. Especially loved the niqab facilities. Food was amazing too. Highly recommended if you're in the area 👌🏼👍🏼

Great food. Very nice service. First time there I had the recommended 'Lamb Koosi' which was delicious chunks of braised lamb on a bed of rice and covered with sauce. Really filling if you are good and hungry. They do many other dishes too, all at very affordable prices. I always finish my meal with a well made double espresso and a piece of pistachio baklawa sweet. Very good value restaurant with authentic charm.
