Sweet Zen in Blackpool

First time here not had Chinese for years as they have mostly all gone downhill .However will certainly go back here the food was delicious 2 of us had the banquet I had sweet and sour chicken which was very nice proper chicken for once and had zero grease .

Fabulous banquet Visited as a couple tonight Thursday 19th Oct Food fantastic, had the banquet option 2 . Plentiful hot and tasty. From the soup to the mains Staff so attentive . We will be back soon

Just had a lovely takeaway meal for four to celebrate my sons birthday. The lady was very helpful and pleasant on the phone and it was ready within 20 minutes. Reasonable prices and delicious food, very happy. Looking forward to dining in the restaurant soon.

We had family over and ordered £50 worth of food and not one dish was nice. I was gutted as was looking forward to it all day. All dishes were left and got wasted. And without sounding disgusting I haven’t been off the toilet this morning. Would never go, order or recommend this place. Terrible.

ordered and had to cancel my order as we weren’t gna be home the woman who answered wasn’t very pleased that we had to cancel and screamed down the phone and told us we weren’t allowed to order from here again. we didn’t mean to upset her about not being able to keep our order but the way she responded made me feel disrespected and she was just plain rude

Food is Excellent, takeaway service fast. Best in Bispham and great value!.Having one tonight, unbeatable

We enjoyed another very good meal here at the weekend. You don't need to order too much as what we had was more than filling and very tasty too. The house wine is very good too. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Stayed at the Premier Inn at Bispham for three nights last week and after a very disappointing meal at the onsite restaurant we decided to give Sweet Zen a try. Food was amazing and staff welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious three course meal and a bottle of wine on Friday evening. We decided to return on Saturday evening for another meal and even though it was very busy they managed to fit us in. Definitely our "go to place" for a meal out. It's handy for the Premier Inn and we both agreed that even if we were staying at another hotel a bit further away we'd still go there for a meal.

The banquet for two was amazing. Lots of choice and very reasonably priced. A family run restaurant where everyone was friendly and helpful.

As a change from our usual Italian restaurant, and as it was an awful long time since we last called at Sweet Zen, we thought we would have a Chinese meal. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Drinks were served promptly and then we were given sufficient time to peruse the extensive menu. Ribs in honey and vegetable spring rolls were devoured with relish, then a huge bowl of mushroom rice, along with the special dishes, beef, pork, chicken and prawns with spring onions and ginger, and Cantonese style sauce really satisfied our appetites. No room for a coffee or a dessert unfortunately. Everything about the food was perfect: there was nothing at all to fault about it.

This was not our usual Chinese takeaway restaurant and it was our first experience, but from now on it will be our go-to takeaway. The crab meat and sweetcorn soup was excellent and our chicken chow mein was delicious and a very generous portion. We live very locally, but on a Saturday night the delivery was incredible....just over 10 minutes. Following this very good experience we intend to visit the restaurant for a good old sit down meal.

First time visited and definitely will be visiting again. Service was perfect, lovely staff, food was perfect, cannot fault anything 👌🏻

Nice set meal chinese , good price , very attentive nice staff, only thing of disappoint was the salt and chilli chips , but all the rest was nice so no need complain

Decided to treat the Mrs to a meal for her birthday. We decided to have the 4 course banquet meal.... Soup, mixed starters, Crispy duck then a main course, £21.50 per head, excellent food and staff very attentive. Will certainly return.

First time visit and it was just lovely! Fresh tasty food and great quality. We had the banquet, and it was delicious! Stand out dishes for me were the duck pancakes and hot and sour soup! The staff were really attentive and friendly. Will be returning again soon!

We had the munch box which was worth the money it was delicious had lots of different things in from prawn toast to sweet and sour chicken and the noodles were the best

Excellent food, beautifully cooked, all fresh. The staff are always very attentive and helpful. Great place to go for a Chinese, the banquet is really good value

Everything was great customer service, prices, food, portion sizes. the curry sauce was well nice aswell. ill be having this as my main chinese to go to from now on. very happy with how it all was!

Right then, probably my easiest ever review of a delivery/take-away. We ordered a Munchy Box to be delivered last night for 3 adults. This easily gets a 10 out of 10 for us, it was simply totally delicious. Hot, fresh, tasty, everything was fabulous and...

1st sit down visit ( had many a take away, especially the munchie boxes ) Had the 4 course banquet. All food lovely and hot, service was excellent and drinks not overpriced. Will definitely return when we can get a kid free evening.

The munchy box from here are great, everything was fresh, delivered on time and great value!!! The prawn toast were delicious. Delivery charge was only £2

Party of 5, all had the special, all the food was good but the fried rice could use some improvement.

Went with 5 friends for a catchup. Early bird menu. Plenty of choice, which was great as a couple of us are a bit fussy! Reason ably priced. Pleasant stff. Will be going back

Yet another great little restaurant in the Red Bank Road area of the town.Great staff who are always friendly and helpful . Food is good too and plenty of it. If there is something not on the menu then the chefs will do their best...

Went here again for an evening meal , and it was a just as good as the first time if not better , waitress very attentive. Quality of food excellent, located in Bispham village .

Was my favourite chinese restaurant a few years ago ( under different management ) decided to try a munchie box from the takeaway side. Superb one of the best i've ever had.

Went here for an early evening meal.. Starters I had spring rolls, sadly not enough filling for my tastes , but nice on the whole.. Satay beef was just so tasty .. Will go again when back in Blackpool. Staff very accommodating..

The food and waitress service were very good but OMG the price of the drinks????? My father in law had 2 bitter shandies priced at nearly £10!!! I questioned this with the manager only to be told this was the price they had been given from the previous owners??? Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Best chinese in Blackpool. Food is fresh and tasty! The people are very friendly & nice decor. I would Definately be going back!! Great!!

Ate here for the first time and it was lovely. We arrived late in the evening and they were happy to take us. The food was reasonable and we got more than we could manage in one sitting. It was all really tasty and great value.

We have our annual snooker pool competition in Blackpool and we trip advisor’d this place at 9pm Thursday evening.

It's one of our regular restaurants and we wouldn't keep returning if it wasn't as good as it is. It has been known as Oriental Village in the past, and got good reviews on here then. The staff are the same and the service and food are still excellent. Their set banquets are good value and there's enough food for even the healthiest of appetites! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

Booke this at short notice as we were staying around the corner. What a brilliant find. The food was plentiful and excellent, the staff were very attentive and helpful without being over the top. Wish they would move to my town, brilliant.

This Chinese is a good find. Three different special menus which are all good value choose to suit your taste

I visited as part of 3 couples and the staff were very friendly good variety of drinks, table ready for us. Very quick service and the food was amamzing the crispy duck was by far the best I have ever had and the mains were just as good also. All for a very reasonable price too. Heavily recommend this.

We booked for 11 for Nana’s birthday, including 3 children and 1 toddler. Staff were lovely, service was good and they were very accommodating. Atmosphere lovely. Food was good but not outstanding. We had the oriental banquets £18 for 2, several courses, soups, starters, duck and 2 mains and 2 sides. The beef in black bean was disappointing as the beef wasn’t very nice but the rest was faultless. Would recommend the curry! Kids meals went down well too!!

This place wow what can I say !! Food is something else always hits the mark we lived the oriental village when it changed we were bit weary but just wow !!! Prawns in sweet and sour are the best and chicken and garlic and chilli are recommended!! House special chow mien are good to !
