Lovely service. Great food. Fab place

Rude staff, rude owner. Mediocre desserts.

We've been there several times since it opened a few years ago. The interior is starting to look very tired, ripped seating, display cabinets were dirty,as well as unclean although cleared tables,lightbulbs grimey etc. The 1 member of staff not really trained in hospitality, no welcome. She did however create 2 very nice waffles and milkshakes. Management needs to get on top of the issues before customers stop coming back!

Service was not great, staff was too busy chatting and forgot to proceed with the order. We ended up waiting a while for simple ice cream. Staff need to focus on the customers and not waste time chatting to eachother. The tables were also dirty. Please improve hygiene and customer service. I would not recommend.

I ordered a create your own cookie dough for takeaway. I opened it when I got home and two of the toppings I asked for were not on it. Paid for something I didn’t even get. Ridiculous!!

I asked for a caramel latte and what I was given was a plain latte. The latte was so hot it scalded my tongue, and I paid £4.50 for the experience.

The girls who work there are so lovely! Literally the nicest, unreal food too

First off I was waiting up to 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to appear, the store was empty no one In sight to the point I thought the place was closed. Once someone came there was no apology and they seemed not bothered. Once i had the milkshake I tasted it and it barely tasted like the flavour I chose, it just tasted like bog standard ice cream with some chocolate thrown In what makes you feel bloated and iffy. Once I got to the bottom off the shake I could see why it had no flavour as their was to massive lumps off chocolate so it wasn’t blended properly. Even if it was I doubt it would of tasted off much. All these desert places all seem to be the same. I’ve been to a couple places for example mummy moody in Evesham where the milkshakes are full off flavour, I had a after eight milkshake their and the flavour kicked me back and it wasn’t super thick so didn’t make me feel bloated and iffy like most off these desert places do. The deserts here look really good and I’m sure they are great but every place seems to lack in their milkshakes.

So, I went in here a while back now and ordered the oreo cheesecake. Now, when I tell you, this desert changed my life, I mean it. ABSOLUTELY, INSANE! SOOOOOO soft. SOOOOOO yummy. Best orea cheesecake you could ever have. But then, about a week later I was with my companion and we wanted to get desert again. I instantly lit up with joy, as I knew the oreo cheesecake was gonna make me more than satisfied. We go into the shop, my companion gets her crepe and I ask for my cheesecake. MY, cheesecake. The cheesecake that gave me reason to live. My heart suddenly paced faster than Harvey Weinstein seeing an underage girl when the cashier said those words.Those very words I didn't want to hear. "WE. DON'T. SELL. IT. ANYMORE....😱". Mortified. Absolutely MORTIFIED I WAS! My heart sank as I didn't fill my tank with my oreo cheesecake 🥲 I only had it once in my life, but it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Before I die, I ask only one thing, and that is. To bring. The oreo cheesecake. Back.🥲🥺🍰

Great choice of desserts and sundaes, staff are very pleasant and friendly. Shop is clean and smells divine. Nice little place for a cheeky treat😋

3 times I went to this place and let me tell you the same thing always happens dirty looks from the staff and refusing to let us seat in even tho we were an hour before closing saying they are cleaning when obviously they are just chatting away the guy was super rude the girls were no better the only good thing there was the owner that I’ve time we ran into him he let us seat right after the staff said no and served us what we wanted and made the staff do it so no this place is the worst yesterday again we thought give them one more chance same thing happen they were looking at us when we were parking then started looking at each other and basically saying no seating in we ended up going dolce which is in the same road and way better

I love the deserts at this place however they take far to long to deliver ordered after 9pm twice now and received my order just before midnight and on one occasion it was past midnight The 2 stars is only because of the long delivery time as the food is amazing

Arrived at the shop just after 9pm, as soon as I walked in I could smell cleaning products(very strong bleach), I was greeted by being told to get my own menu and find a table. Desserts arrived, presentation was good, taste would've been good had mine and my brothers fork not smelt of bleach, which resulted in us not finishing our desserts. Customer service was non existence, and to top it all off, the table opposite us had a spillage, and then had 2 members of staff investigating on how the hot drink had spilt over and had one member staff asking the customer to demonstrate how the hot drink had spilt. Such a shame with the service.

Portion sizes for waffles was good but not for hot drinks. Very poor customer service..they don't serve the men or ask if you need anything etc. Very loud music and young lads messing around in the shop making it very uncomfortable to sit in. Just noisy and not well kept inside. Staff seem inexperienced

Good selection of ice creams and desserts. Can be busy at times! Service is good, consistency of waffles can be based on how busy the place is hence under cooked waffles but apart from that good desserts over all.

Such a lovely place. No request was an issue. Child friendly and very welcoming!

After visiting the shop with my wife and son I accidentally left an IPad Pro with Pen outside the store on the outdoor tables. 48 hours later I was contacted by the store after finding my details to say they had kept it safe and I could return to collect it. I am so happy at this over and above gesture, the store not only serves great ice cream but also employs staff who show great ethical conduct at a time where most would see an opportunity for personal gain. Thanks again to the staff at the store and I will certainly be returning in the near future for some great treats. Craig

Im not big on desserts, however because family were wanting to get dessert I had to get something. Wanted something small so I got a mango sorbet for the first time and I have to say you won't find a better mango sorbet anywhere else. I have tried 2 places after that and it doesn't match to the one here. Its a shame its too far away from me but will be sure to visit next time I'm down Birmingham!

Staff very friendly Service and ice cream perfect Enjoyed with my family

Popped in for a sugar rush treat on a sunny day. Tables hadn’t been cleaned and was dirty, staff didn’t greet us and were busy chatting to each other and when we went to place the order, they ignored us for a while. The orders however were lovely, can’t fault it. Portion sizes were phenomenal, it was expensive, but as an odd treat it was fine. Overall, service was poor, food was good. Won’t come back for a while, as did not feel welcomed and our custom would be better elsewhere.

It’s the best dessert shop in the midlands. The lotus milk cake is one of the best desserts I ever had. The milkshake is good too, as is the lotus cheesecake, waffles and cookie dough. The service is always amazing and price is very good. It’s nice to eat in or get delivery.

Delicious desserts and they are huge. So big we had to take half home! Busy and quite noisy but would recommend a visit.

Great if you fancy that ridiculously unhealthy sugar rush as a treat. Will could do with a wipe down.

The milkshakes are so delicious & thick can taste the chocolate you’ve chosen all the way through. Crepes are really tasty😍.. everything about the place is brilliant from the atsomphere, the location, the staff and the customer service to the desserts. Prompt delivery service even on a Saturday night. Definitely recommend this place 🤩🤩🤩

There are so many dessert shops opened up everywhere in Birmingham but for me, there will always be one… I live on the other side of Sutton in Edgbaston but I always come to this place for a drink and dessert…. I’m a regular here and so I get looked after from the time I enter until I leave. There’s a great selection of cakes, ice creams and drinks, especially decaf tea, which other dessert shops hardly offer. There Lotus milk cake and peanut butter stack is to die for, not many places do nice milk cakes but there’s is so tasty, I’ve converted many of my friends to it. They close really late too at 11:30 and so it’s nice to go and chill there in the evenings. Must try!

The service was good, cant fault it. However the mint chocolate ice cream sundae I had wasn't very nice and for the price it was, it wasn't worth it. My friend got the chocolate cake and it was really dry. I dont think i would come back anytime soon, sorry

We visited as a treat with our children aged 7&8. Wow the Oreo and biscoffi cheesecake were outstanding. The children had the ice cream which they loved, plenty of flavours to choose from too. All of the portion sizes were excellent and good value for money too we will definitely be visiting again.

First time try and it's so worth it ! 💕 Had the Nutella and strawberries crêpe and with ice cream kinder bueno.

Fabulous desserts and very good service. We had crepes. It was Friday after school and fairly quiet which surprised us. Our first visit and I'm pleased to say we were impressed. Not too expensive and good quality.

Custard changed after my last review so has been amazing. Unfortunately the last 2 times the concrete taste like actual concrete. The recipes keeps changing. Just tastes like chocolate cake and custard. I prefer it without the chocolate drizzle

We have used this place since it opened, we have been to others but they aren't as good as here. The staff are always lovely and it's not a problem for you to try the ice cream flavours before buying. The ladies that lunch waffle is my favourite.

Lotus biscoff cheesecake was really good. Lotus milk cake was the best.

Very tired now. The care and attention no longer exists. The toilets and tables are not very clean. Treatz a couple of miles in Sutton Coldfield town centre is better.

If you are looking for a chill out place or a quiet corner this is the place! With a great variety of desserts, crepes and waffles to enjoy, this really is the place to be.

Waffle with brownies was nice. Expected a bit more from the hot chocolate. Didn't look appetising with blue marshmallows.

Since I've known this place it has been up and down in terms of service and quality of food. But I'm very happy with the most recent staff in there, and the quality of the food. Sit in / delivery or collection. Friendly staff, nice funky decor and prices are not bad either.

Ladies toilet massive fail - no lock? - at all!!! Needed servicing at time of our visit approx 5.45 pm Service slow - only went in for quick coffee.

My reason for 3 starts are this. One, the customer service wasn't the best. Two we got given the wrong order and three, when we brought back the wrong order we got told "we" took the wrong order lol.. No sorry or nothing. Couldn't even be bothered to make an issue. Just know I won't be coming back. The cookie dough and waffles looked like the toppings and chocolate sauce were just dashed on the top. No love or care put in the food. The cookie dough was a joke. Staff (it was 2 young females serving me) need more training in dessert presentation! and customer service skills. I get it's been hot the last few days but that's no excuse for such a mess of an experience. I didn't even eat my waffle tbh. The cookie doughs I heard were nice. I would reccomend this franchise of dessert shop because usually the desserts are really nice. Just not this one for me.

I've the menu, portions and pricing. Best part. They have a great variety of a menu. Even gluten free option menu!!! With a few items of variety. Not just 1 thing! I believe they had a sugar free option. Can't remember. That's needs to be checked and updated.

Amazing hidden gem. Found this place driving past seen it was very busy but decided to go in anyways. Definitely was not disappointed. Quality of desserts was beyond expectation. Mocktails were excellent and ice cream tasted premium. Kids all loved it. Portion sizes are quite big so I finished off their dessert. There are a variety of choices, and I'm sure I counted over 30 unique ice cream flavours on display. The restaurant was very clean the dessert was presented neatly on plate. Would be coming to see them again. Keep up the great work 💪

It's okay .but service is .slow .

We asked for a high chair to the man behind the till as we wanted to sit outside , he said he would bring it. He came out cleaned the next table but no high chair.. he went and started to do things behind the counter.. saw us looking didn't care, so my 6 years old daughter decided enough is enough and I had waited long enough so she went and asked for it.. after the high chair came service was OK...

Excellent service from brilliant staff... Nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend trying this place, the choice is amazing!

I sent my kids to the Wylde Green store as a treat, they spent a lot of money but were given an incorrect milkshake with their order, they told the staff but they refused to change it, stating thats what they had asked for, what kid orders a bounty milkshake?! They even showed staff the order list they had put into their phone before going there but staff still wouldnt change it. I was really annoyed when they came home and told me, especially as id paid £40 for their order, a child shouldnt of been made to to without their milkshake because the staff got it wrong, why wouldnt they read back an order? Especially while people are wearing masks? I wont ever use Sweet again, nor will my children or their friends after such poor customer service. There are plenty of other treat shops locally where youll be given what you ask for and where they will correct any mistakes staff make because their customers matter.

Terrible!! Never arrived! Orderd with uber eats no update no arrival i waited 2 hours!! Second time last time ordered for pick up and they gave it to someone else! Ruined my evening phone engaged all evening until closing time it miraculously started to ring! :((

Visited this afternoon with my family. Served by a guy who hardly spoke English and didn't know how to operate the order taking system or even recognise the names of different coffees. I asked for pouring cream with the fudge cake. Made the international gesture for pouring. He said yes. He asked if we wanted cream with the chocolate concrete cake. I said no (as my son is dairy intolerant). Both cakes arrived with squirty cream. The girls who brought the cakes to the table offered to replace the squirty cream with dairy free sorbet for my son and ice cream for my daughter. We said that would be fine. The guy with poor English came to the table to tell us we hadn't paid for ice cream at which point we were prepared to walk out. Called the manager over to complain. He said you're probably not going to come back but if you do and I'm in I'll give you a discount. He was right, we won't be going back. I asked him if they were collecting track and trace info at which point he brought a form to our table and went round all the other tables at the same time. I got the impression had we not asked no one would have had their details taken. Really poor service and an overall disappointing experience. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

Awful experience. Started with a server who could barely speak English, therefore we were worried the order wouldn't be correctly recorded. When the food arrived, as expected there were a number of mistakes. Rather than correct these the original server tried to excuse himself and took no responsibility. After speaking to the manager, all we got was an apology and explanation that the man in question doesn't normally work on the till. Awful service and we won't be returning.

Busy desert shop so make sure you listen to the women at the till when she repeats back you order to save confusion and issues. Never had a issue with them, clean and full filling.

Amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Staff is amazing and the desserts are outstanding! The owner Nas himself came out and asked if everything was ok and had a little chat with us which was really nice of him.

I have just called the shop non stop since half 10 this evening and no one has answered the phone. Thing is I actually live nearby and can see in the shop the staff just chatting and on their phones cleaning up. Hope the manager sees this as not acceptable

If incoupd give it nonstars I would. I came here with my husband on our night out, we felt like having something sweet and came across this place. Stale, airy concrete cale and enough custard to take home and maybe have with another 3 desserts, way too much custard... dont recommend.. fresh is always best!

The customer service has never been their strong points but atleast the deserts were good. Today took my kids to get waffles. The waffles were almost burnt and crispy. We called the manager to complaint and she said that the fault is in the waffle maker. Some ridiculous explanation like, if the waffle maker has not been used for some time then the waffles can get overheated ! Fair play to her she offered us to get more waffles but there was no guarantee that the next set would be any different. Unlikely to go there again.

I took my daughters after school as a treat and was pleasantly surprised, big deserts at a good low price.

The portions are a good size and the milkshakes are mega and lovely , I would defo recommend going there if you haven't been already , I loved it and you can mix and match you don't have to have what's on the menu which liked , pukka all round

We love this dessert shop. The desserts are huge and the prices are reasonable. Good decor and friendly staff.

The food is quite nice in here but the staff always seem too busy to serve you, I think they're preoccupied with internet orders. Main issue is the toilets. I have taken my child here on 3 separate occasions and the family toilet has been unusable on all 3 occasions. The seat has been missing in the family/ladies toilet for several weeks. Each time I have complained and been told they have an issue with it being pulled off by guests apparently. Looking at the general state of the toilets I'm not convinced it has even been fixed for weeks. I was told to take my daughter in the mens which was even more grim. Good luck going for a wee if you are a lady and don't want to use the mens...! I think you can tell a lot about an establishment by looking at the toilets...
