Great food, impressive selection and friendly staff. I wish they would have a ticket system though as it sometimes gets very confusing what order they are shouting and with the addition of dumb sixth formers not listening it could be improved. So instead of sitting out the entire food order, each customer pulls a number then they just shout '38' or whatever and there's no confusion.

Cold to sit inside, the staff doesn't speak english too well so it's hard to order sometimes, but overall okay when brunchies is closed.

Amazing food and great value! I got the value box with chips, doner meat, and chicken, and it was perfect. The doner was juicy and flavorful, the chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the chips were crispy and fresh. Generous portions and top-notch quality. Friendly service too! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I ordered a value box with no salad and no sauce. When I got home, it was drenched in hot chilli peri sauce!! I forced myself to eat it since it would be a waste of food that I payed for...my mouth was on fire from the sauce! Definitely going somewhere else for my food! 😡

Amazing good quality food. Always fresh. The fried chicken is top notch along with masala fish. Dont forget the gulab jamuns that are tonsie for and authentic.

sorry I had to take some stars away on this review. I've eaten here a few times and it's hit and miss. I paid 10 pound for a donner kebab, the donner was good quality but not enough for 10pounds. their sweet and spice sauce is nice and not to spicy, it was crammed into the smallest box with my chips which left them not just soggy but squashed like mash potatoe. so i basically paid 10 pound for donner meat. use bigger boxes or separate the chips. they're mithai is nice and I think the only reason I keep ordering. I checked the app to see what was taking the driver so long and he was at the store for a good 10 minutes after the food had been prepared so they'd obviously been sat there chatting while my food was getting soggy. come on guys I've had some nice food from here you need to pick your game up abit. the sweets were nice

I had the Chicken Balti at Sweat and Spice, and it was fantastic—flavorful and well-cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the seating offered a great view of the university. A lovely spot for a tasty meal and great service!

Was recommended this place. A huge disappointment with the masala fish, definitely not cod fish. This was a cheap nasty fish, probably cat fish. Had to throw it away after having a few bites. If you going to charge for food, at least ensure you are using quality ingredients. Also tried the meat samosa, equally terrible. Won't be going back.

I’ve been there in “Sweet & Spice” with colleagues. Had an amazing experience over there. Food was awesome and staff was so friendly specially guys on reception.

One of the best fast food restaurants in Stoke-on-Trent. They have both asian and western food. All the food that I tried was delicious and good portions. Also, the prices are reasonable and the place is very clean and tidy. I would recommend this place to everyone !!!

Nice clean place Good stop with family if you are travelling Peri burger was very nice. Marinated to a great taste Got the 2pc Value box. Portion size was good but needs to be in a small pizza box. All squashed into a large chips box. Salad and sauce were not existent. Maybe provide as separate. Samsosas were noce with a good filling. Tea was nice also. Could spend of money in here when hungry. Desserts section looks very appealing. worth a visit.

Hot, Tasty Food!!! You Can Guarantee Consistency, Consistency, Consistency at Sweet & Spice Every Time!!! Food is always hot, flavoursome & produced in a reasonable amount of time. Staff are polite, everything is spotlessly clean. All the emergency services, especially the police eat there virtually every day, as do loads of students & anyone in the know from the surrounding area (upto 5 miles away on average). We love their 4 piece Southern Fried Chicken Value box, their chicken is perfectly coated & cooked& their Chicken Curry Desi Style is amazing, their Rottees & Nans are really good. Their Gulab Jaman are lovely too, we don't order everything, but whatever you order it's going to be great quality, I order all my catering for large family functions / events; Mehndis, Birthdays, Funerals from them every time. Catered for a small wedding function for one of my family friends, everything was brilliant. We have ordered a selection of chicken curry (boneless), meat curry (on the bone), Pilau Rice, Pakorehs, Samosehs, etc for between 20 ppl to 200ppl on many occasions over the years. They have Never let me down or been late. (I have always collected, don't think they deliver), Thank-you Sweet & Spice Staff & Owners, from me & my Family & Friends. Only small gripe is, when you go in, you never know where the queue starts & have to ask every customer if they're in the queue or waiting. (That's why only 4 Stars)

The Old Sweet and Spice is Gone—And So Is Any Decent Food Quality I don't know what's happened to Sweet and Spice, but the place I loved is gone. I recently ordered a 15-piece wing, and it was a complete disaster. The wings were half-done, with an unsettling smell like expired tuna—yes, tuna. You can't make this up. Each wing was swimming in grease, and I'm not exaggerating. You could squeeze 5ml of oil out of every piece like you're extracting juice. It was so greasy that my stomach turned after the first bite. If that wasn’t bad enough, every wing had these strange purple patches, which immediately made me question if the chicken was even safe to eat. Clearly, this place no longer cares about their food or their customers. They've completely dropped the ball on quality control. Zero stars from me. If you're thinking about trying it, save yourself the trouble. This isn't the Sweet and Spice we all used to know. Some get lucky, some don't. Never consistent.

NOT recommended! Disappointed with recently purchased food. Food quality and portion size was very POOR; no value! Upon raising this matter with the owner, my complaint was disregarded despite being a regular customer. This complaint could have been easily dealt with but seems as though the quality standards and customer service have dropped!

A decent fast food takeaway that sells deserts on the side. Food is decent and wait times are minimal. Only problem I had was that prices had been increased making their more reasonable items slightly overpriced. However, overall a good fast food.

I don't understand why I had to wait 45 minutes for food that was already prepared. Maybe more staff are needed. I bought samosas and dessert but was very disappointed with the wait.

Bought a channa chaat along with few other things . The poor chap had forgotten to drain the water from the chick pea tin and the whole dish was full of the water from the tin along with the other food . Probably made in a hurry or maybe the cook wasn't bothered. This Raises some issues about hygiene . The place is over all clean though and the front desk people are polite .

Soggy chips, cheap sliced cheese, watered down ketchup. Grumpy staff. Cheese burger and chips was like having lunch at highschool back in the late 90s. Cheap ingredients at quality prices. Average food wouldnt waste my money again.
