Appalling, would like to give them zero stars. Both service and food are terrible. Avoid at all costs. Aromatic duck was a joke. Forgot some dishes would not refund.

I was really discusted when visiting this takeaway.Was going to go in to order some food when got to the door there was a woman with a bully dog in the waiting area. she was chinese so probably a member of staff actually cleaning the dogs backside with wet wipes. Not only could the dog have attacked a customer what she was doing to the dog actually made me feel physically sick.

I've never had a bad meal from this place. The portions are a good size and there are also plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. Delivery times are good too.

Ordered here on a Saturday night. Ordered the food at 6pm, the food never arrived. We rung the shop many times with no answer. On the occasion we didn’t get through, we were told that they were waiting on the driver. 1 hour later still no food. When we got through to the shop again we were told “the driver is looking for your house number now”. An hour after that phone call and still no food arrived. Eventually we gave up and went to the shop ourselves. In the shop we were told the driver missed our order and they would make us a new one. This was fine by us but still completely unacceptable to allow customers to wait 3 hours with no updates on delivery.

Was craving mock chicken balls and so i paid the ridiculous delivery fee (8£) plus service fee. The food was bland and extremely greasy. In fact I've never had food so greasy before. The grease was running out of the bag. I'm so grateful they offer veggie mock chicken balls but my days we don't need a bottle of oil with it. I spent 45£ between two people (two mains, rice, spring rolls and the delivery fee) for grease and a sore stomach. :-(

Absolutely awful takeaway! Chicken balls were rock solid with dry over cooked chicken inside, tasteless plasticy crisp beef and bland chow mein. Prawn crackers were the only thing that was fit to eat! Avoid!

Wouldn’t even give it 1 star but as you can’t give less had to for a review. I ordered food off just eat got accepted 15 minutes later it stated the driver was outside and couldn’t find me and to call restaurant. Therefore I did so. So and be hold it was closed the whole time WTF!! Why accept an order in the first place if you’re not going to deliver?! Never go there again.

schedule time was an hour actually took 2 rang shop 4 times only once answered.was told 2 mins away 15 mins later it arrived food cold bland and absolutely disgusting chicken balls were flat and soggy and Luke warm chips were cold prawn crackers tasted like they were made a week ago ribs well there were in some sort of sauce (more like coloured water) thoroughly and totally appalled by how much money I have just wasted nearly £30.00 95% of it is now in a black bag will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone and just eat you should really look at your socials as you recommend it absolutely furious never ever again

hello i just picked my order up from here and ordered king prawns with curry sauce we had the king prawns but no sauce for it and i had my one the chicken curry with rice but i asked for no mushrooms and they gave me mushrooms.this is not acceptable me and my friend are not happy with our food wont be buying off them again

Cant leave zero stars, itd be a minus if i could.More drama than a drag-barOrdered for 2 at 7pm. Called 9pm, as app has just changed status to "enjoy your food". No "out for delivery" or "delivered". I was worried itd been delivered to someone else. Phone rang to an EE voicemail. Bit annoying.So clicked on "Can we help with anything?" and clicked late order.App notified me it was going to be late as they were busy.Ok, an hour should be the norm. 2 hours at a push. But by 9:45 we were getting really edgy and starving.Called again, only to be told, driver was in the area and would be there in minutes. Bit of a sigh of relief that the place was real and we hadnt been scammed.10pm, my friend (who has the patience of Nicola Sturgeon wanting a referendum) called them up again and asked to cancel and a refund. We were told again it would be minutes as driver in the area.I asked if they could phone driver and ask where they were. They were gone phoning on another phone a good few minutes, only to be told they couldnt get hold of the driver.Great!!! my simple chineese chicken balls and chow mein was turning into quite a saga.My friend read a good few bad google reviews of missing or very late food and suggested we should cancel. I was getting worried she would wither away and disappear in between the gaps between the cushions of my sofa.I did ask how can my food be out for delivery for and hour and would it still be hot. Im not totally sure as there was a bit of a language barrier, but I think i was told i could re-heat my order.That was it! We cancelled the order and ordered off someone else who took less than 45 minutes.What a complete drama. According to other reviews, this is not unusual. But i swear ive ordered before and got good delivery and good food, but cant find any trace of this.If they are very busy and cant deal with the volume, then dont take any more orders.Just eat need to remove this company. Its beyond.They did cancel my order less than 2 minutes later. I was expecting a bewildered and disheveled looking delivery driver to turn up at some point. That didnt happen, so I guess they have a special way of contacting the driver should orders be cancelled to avoid disgruntled customers getting a free feed. Shame they couldnt have used this method to find out where my food was. I expect i was somewhat lied to.Worst still, upon cancelling and conplaiming, they just hung up whilst my friend was in mid sentence.To top it all off, if you cancel an order, you dont get to leave a review, hmmm.Moral of the story is... read google reviews before ordering from anyone, and dont completly lie to customers and treat them like crap.

Terrible... crispy beef was old soggy beef with the sauce just thrown on parts of it. The beef was hard and tough with stale chow mein. In ordered a coke that didn’t arrive with food too. Made a complaint and nothing done about it. Does not compare to other local takeaways.

I'm still suffering the after effects of this company nearly killing me. I don't like to complain publically but I specifically put that I am highly allergic to mushrooms on the comments via just eat last night and when the food eventually arrived all looked well.However it was evident that they cooked the food with mushrooms in when my mouth started to swell up and a rather chunky mushroom was abruptly spat out (it was hidden under the beef) if someone says they are allergic to something then don't bloody cook it with the allergen in it and then fish them out as the juice also causes an allergic reaction. Be thankful that I am not sending you a message from a hospital bed.will never order from these again

Had 2 meals from there and we won’t be going again. Had chicken toast and the chicken tasted off and the chicken curry had no spice and was sickly tasting and inedible. Last night ( July 18th ) orders satay chicken no veg and chicken fried rice no peas. They totally ignored instructions (so if you have dietary requirements good luck) and what we received had no taste of peanut or spice and was full of pineapple and carrots. Really think twice before going here because the staff don’t care. Shame

Had a takeaway from here at a friends. Was surprised to see so many meat alternative dishes. The menu didn’t specify vegan, but when I called they said to write vegan in the comments when ordering. I had the bean curd Malaysian sambal curry. OMG! It was amazing, the bean curd(tofu) chunks were perfectly cooked, toasted and fluffy, and the sauce was beautiful. I will be going there again and again

Second time for picking up - good system you get allotted time! Food Was 1 min early! it was excellent food like last time. Crispy popadoms, saucey mushroom curry , crispy chips ( v nice) the crispy beef was excellent nice sauce too. Didn't order prawn crackers but they came in bag - we don't like them! But anyway 10/10 from us and hope this will now be our regular chinese takeaway.

Ordered food though Just Eat App, booked delivery time for 18.30, received a call to ask if we would be prepared for the order to arrive earlier, I said no earlier than 18.00 which the lady on the phone agreed, our order turned up at 17.30 so felt we had to eat it then, the crispy duck was appalling not a crispy bit on the duck atall, hardly any meat and advertised 6 pancakes for half a duck also stating a quarter of a duck only has 6 pancakes too, so we ordered 6 more, only for 18 to turn up so need to address this issue otherwise others will be ordering more like we did, the meat from half a duck was hardly enough to fill 6 pancakes. Most of the other dishes were ok but due to our favourite chinese being shut we had to order from here but we will not be ordering again.

I am a new customer, and I have been having deliveries from here since the lockdown. I was recommended Swansea Oriental by a friend. They have always been incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating - and cater for vegans even though it is the only Chinese delivery service/takeaway in Swansea during this lockdown, and still reasonably priced. The meal arrived hot and freshly cooked, and was very tasty. Vegans I recommend the Bean Curd Chinese Mushroom (don't forget to let them know you are vegan) it was also very filling and satisfying.Of course, there was a long wait for the delivery being the only Chinese in Swansea during this time (same with trying to get through to them on the phone), but they let me know that there is no guarantee of a time, but gave me a time span of the delivery time - nevertheless - the food is hot and fresh.If the food is this good now, I am looking forward to trying it when the lockdown is over. I can't imagine it getting better than it is already is due to its very high quality.PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LONG DELIVERY TIMES AND THE DIFFICULTY IN TRYING TO GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE IS PURELY TO DO WITH THE LOCKDOWN AND THAT THEY SWANSEA ORIENTAL IS THE ONLY CHINESE IN SWANSEA DURING THIS TIME.

Placed an order as a friday night treat. Was absolutely the furthest from the truth! Shocking service. Two dishes missing and the rest of the order was already stone cold. Phoned to inform and explained meal was ruined. Accused of 'harrassment'. No offer of delivery or good will gesture acknowledged .Instead had to recollect missing items. Will never, ever visit again. Rude, ignorant telephone conversation with chinese lady , although the young boy taking the call initially was very understanding. What a total waste of money. Total shambles of an order and dealt with in a totally unacceptable manner. Avoid please. Wish I had opted for a home cooked meal now.Awful experience.

2 1/2hrs wait to be told can’t find address on a main road 40 mins after expected delivery time. Then having to wait 3-7days for a refund WHAT A JOKE

Ok, so my fiance and myself really fancied a nice takeaway today, went to this place as thought it would be nice as I've been to this place before. Probably a while ago. As the owner who didn't even own up to being the owner argued with me on the phone when I called up to complain that the food was dry. We ordered prawn, spare ribs etc. All like they were just warmed up! I had a lot of abuse on the phone when I complained. All food went in the bin. Then I was told I was harassing them as I was complaining! Honestly, what a waste of money and probably be Ill tomorrow! Absolutely disgusting! Avoid!!!!

We waited nearly 3 hours for our food and tried calling the shop about 50 times but they just ignore it. I eat before it came because i couldn't wait any longer. When the food did come the delivery driver was rude and offered no apology. He said to ring the shop for a refund! What a joke. Food was cold. I went to have mine the next day and it smelt and looked disgusting so put it straight in the food bin. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered a take away meal from here as it was my birthday and due to the lockdown conditions, our gathering had to be cancelled. We ordered at 1935 and were advised on their online site due to the lockdown conditions it could be up to 2hrs, which we totally understood.2135 still no sign, tried phoning the establishment to just get an answer machine. Eventually got through at 2300 hrs, only to speak to a rather rude, unhelpful, irate man. Told me that if I still wanted the delivery it would probably be cold by the time they delivered and offered no apology or offer of any refund. After a lot of arguing, he agreed to refund our money. Will never use this place again. Read and heard lots of reviews saying basically the same.

Terribly bland food, was cold when it came. Disappointed with the quality and the flavour of the food. Crispy duck was soggy and dry. Meal for 2 and half a duck plus delivery at £50 was a RIP off

Ordered a delivery online, the order was 1 hour late and we only had the time update after I requested an order update. Tried calling 13 times and didn’t answer once.When the delivery driver got here he did not apologise and did not offer any money off. The crispy beef was not in a sauce and the pot of sweet and sour sauce was like a thimble..I mean really?!NEVER ordering from here again!!

Ordered a Chinese which was 40 mins late, freezing cold and food was dirty and inedible. Upon speaking with the restaurant they were aggressive and rude. Avoid!!
