Swan Inn Broadway in Wychavon

Just had to leave a review! Last minute decision to eat out tonight and chose at the Swan - made to feel so welcome .Both steaks were cooked perfectly and they easily accommodated a change to the dish that I requested. Service so attentive and friendly particularly from the manager Tom -all the team are great. Would highly recommend ,also very dog friendly -our dog gives it 4 paws on the doors!!

Cosy spot for few drinks in the bar. Then moved into the restaurant to eat later. Good food at reasonable price.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here last night. The food and drinks were all of a high standard. Everything came out in good time. The staff were very accommodating and nothing too much bother. All the staff were lovely, especially Eloise who was mainly serving us. Would really recommend.

Lovely lunch, we prebooked as it was a Saturday. We were in the bar area with dogs and child, where you order at the bar or on QR code on the table. Was the 2nd time visiting here for lunch and would definitely return. Service was a little slow to clear up but it was understandable as we were a group and it was very busy, being peacetime. Had the pork belly and it was delicious, everyone around the table were happy with their meals.

Sat outside in the Autumn sun ... very expensive to eat lunch n dogs everywhere!

Most impressed with the excellent charcuterie sharing platter and somehow found room for the trio of desserts; the stars of which were the icecream and the lemon tart😋

We had a really lovely evening at The Swan. The drinks and food were delicious and Eloise’s fabulous service made our night complete.

The bald gentlemen with glasses behind the bar was one of the friendliest most accommodating bar staff I’ve ever encountered, nothing was too much for him and he had an electable charm which complimented the electric atmosphere nicely. Will certainly be returning !!!

Lovely lovely Cotswold pub & restaurant stayed at Broadway early September 4th - 7th 2024. All the pubs are nice but this was our favourite Food & drink were great with a nice warmly Cotswold pub feel within the pub Jo the Manager & Tom went above all customer service expectations to sort out a £100 parking fine outside their pub ...Thank you to them both!!! Excellent menu, very helpful staff (one of our party is allergic to garlic, and the staff went to great lengths to come up with garlic-free variants of the menu items). Meals were delicious - no complaints at all. Will happily return.

Fantastic Sunday Roast, with a fantastic atmosphere! Sophie served us and was brilliant - she was very attentive and took careful note of our requests.

Booked in for Sunday lunch at 3.0 but arrived early at 2.30 and decided to get a drink whilst waiting but asked if table was ready just on the off chance. Table not ready but the member of the team greeting us said if we take a seat in the bar or outside she would come and find us. 10 minutes later she came to find us and kindly showed us to our table. We had the Sunday lunch off the menu and have to say was one of the best Sunday lunches I have had for a long time. Our server Sophie was very helpful and attentive and answered our questions regarding the food very professionally. The restaurant was very busy and can only be a reflection of how popular it is. All in all we had an enjoyable Sunday lunch and will definitely return when next in the area.

We were a table of 3 that had booked via the online form for 19:45. Lovely pub. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. We came on the weekend with the vintage & classic cars meaning the staff had clearly had a very long day. We were hoping for Sunday roasts and by the time we sat down were told there were none left. Ben, our server could clearly see our disappointment (not his fault!) .. wow. He went above and beyond .. he came back and said the chef would put us together a plate of what he could including veg, gravy, meat .. the only thing missing was the roasties (I wasn’t too worried!). He made our day. We absolutely would have been fine without the roasts but Ben really put himself out to try and get something sorted for us. Thank you. We will definitely be back!

Certainly not a cheap lunch, however my Fish & Chips were well presented, delicious (as was the pint of Guinness) and very filling..... Just what I needed after my walk upto Broadway Tower and back. Highly recommended!

We ordered the recommended pork belly and lamb. They both are very tasty, and dishes are very presentable, although the lamb could be a bit less cooked for my liking. The staff are very attentive, and the seatings are very comfortable. Personally, I don't like the interior, a bit too "modern" for me. Our food and drinks came to £55, I think it is a good price.

We didn't book, it was very full and they accommodated for us with 3 children. Great children's menu, main menu and the service was the same Although it was busy, there was no long wait for the food. Thanks Ann Marie

Ok apart from admin error but staff handled the situation very well.

Ship inn well I’m most disappointed. We cancelled our food order, due to the SMOKING OUTSIDE DISGUSTING. NO SIGNS SAYING DO NOT EAT OUTSIDE DUE TO ASHTRAYS FULL AND A LOVELY SETTING RUINED. I HAVE TO SAY I WAS VERY SHOCKED. LOVELY YOUNG LADY TOOK OUR ORDER. THE GUY BEHIND THE BAR WAS A TAD RUDE AND TOO BE HONEST DID NOT CARE. TO BE HONEST IT WAS SO BAD IM GLAD I HAD MY BLUE INHALER. ITS 2024 SO WHATS WITH THE CRAZY SMOKING WHILST EATING.

Excellent all-round. A picturesque location with a varied & delicious menu and generous portions. First class service from all staff too, especially friendly team member Liz who looked after us throughout. Highly recommended for couples and families of all ages

Swan Inn ( not Ship Inn ) Every time I’ve been the to swan (+-6 times) I have found the food absolutely amazing. They do a fantastic Sunday Roast!!! Service from the Bar staff Lovely Lilly, a saffa Chap - (like me) and Tom has always been on point! Great place to bring the family or even treat your lady to a date night. 10/10

Lovely local restaurant in Broadway. The food is also brilliant, but a little expensive. I do love the mini dessert and cocktail option. The lemon tart I had was more than big enough and the cocktail was very nice

Had wine and dine menu last night for a table of 6. Service from Jo and Ben was outstanding helpful, speedy and very professional. Food was excellent for all 3 courses. Super value for money. See you next year on our next visit. Thank you for a fantastic night.

I dined in the restaurant last Friday. Lovely food and atmosphere, but above all else the service from Eloise was exceptional. She was very attentive, approachable and seemed very happy to be there. Well done Eloise!

Waited ages for ordered drinks to arrive. Waiting staff tipped most of the plate of food on to the table when putting it down. Incorrect dessert served. Bill wrong at the end Disappointed as met up with friends from Australia.

As per review below, we went back to the Swan for Sunday lunch today and was not disappointed. Elizabeth was very attentive, subtly checking all was well without being at all intrusive. For the Sunday lunch, there’s Yorkshires, and then there’s Yorkshires the Swan serve! The portion size is perfect and the beef and chicken were wonderfully cooked…We look forwards to coming back again, but hopefully not leaving it 10 years this time!! Thanks to the whole team for creating a great restaurant.

We ate here 10 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it. Having gone back yesterday, 10 years later, it is still an amazing restaurant. We ate there last night, went in for an unplanned lunch today (Sat, also fantastic) and look forward to Sunday lunch booked tomorrow! **Molly M** served us Friday night and couldn't have done a better job, thanks Molly. She and another member of staff even popped over to wish us a Happy Anniversary - What a lovely touch, and shows the restaurant really knows how to stand out from the crowd. The Chocolate Bombe is awesome, and the steak and pork belly mains were equally fantastic. Looking forward to returning in another 10 years (or hopefully sooner!!)...

Celebrating a birthday a lovely experience staff were very welcoming, went above and beyond!

Food was excellent. Service good though a little confused as we nearly had two meals we hadn't ordered then after we did order we nearly had 2 extra starters! Other than that it was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some limited parking is available behind the pub. Menu was comprehensive with a good range of items though it wasn't exactly cheap for steaks.

Had Sunday lunch here again. Very good lunch. Very tasty Sunday roast and Seabass. Elizabeth who served us was excellent We will be back.

Eloise was fabulous very impressed she was so kind and attentive

Eloise took great care of us, including making up for a late drink. The food was delicious and everything we hoped for. The building is beautiful and historic. Our only small complaint was that the dance music playing all evening was a bit incompatible with the wonderful surrounds!

Sunday lunch. Food, poor. Beef tough and pretty tasteless. Pork belly. No crackling. Potatoes, not like crispy roasties rather like reheated ones. Yorkshire pudding, very large (which is what some people may like) but dry and crispy. Plates swimming in gravy. Additional side dish was forgotten and accompanying veg not brought out either. Bottled tap water, tepid. Had to request ice. Bill was presented as all items had been provided so had to request a revised bill. Very disappointing.

Was running late for our booking due to traffic and the staff were very accommodating. Took my two dogs and was very quickly given a bowl of water for the two of them as well. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Staff attentive and friendly. I had the chicken roast and my sister had the pork belly. The crackling was delicious.

Great place, good service, great food and drink

Went for Sunday roast. Roast came out with starters so sent roasts back. We then Didn’t get served any green veg and they forgot our cauliflower cheese side. Pork didn’t have any crackling and beef was tough. Potatoes were not crispy more like cooked in the morning and reheated for the afternoon. Bill wasn’t reduced at the end for the forgotten side and veg had to ask for these to be taken off.

Lovely atmosphere and perfect ambience. We popped in for a drink Saturday lunchtime and had already booked a table for that evening. The food was so good and all of the staff were very friendly, polite & attentive. A fantastic time in the Swan which was 'run like a well oiled machine'. We'll definitely return and highly recommend.

Inside or out, this is a lovely place to visit for a drink. Afternoon tea or an evening beer, it's a pleasant place to be. Well located in Broadway, easy access and a good car park.

We went for a late lunch with friends and Vicky who served us was very polite and helpful, all and all, a very enjoyable lunch.

Wonderful old pub with great staff, a nicely varied menu, stellar wine list, and a top position in the 'competitive mile' of lunch spots that Broadway's 'feature strip' is known for. Importantly, prices (while not cheap) were reasonable in comparison to neighbours. Free parking and a street front terrace are points of difference. My only curiosity is not a complaint: is the UK ready for a charcuterie board without cheese? Yes, yes, I know the purist foodie answer. I just wonder if most clientele will 🤔😉. Highly recommended place for all things if you like an upmarket pub which hasn't lost its character.

We sat in the front area which had a very friendly relaxed vibe. The service was fast and friendly and the fish and chips were hot, fresh and delicious.
