Suzi Tros in Kensington and Chelsea

The food is good— flavorful, and nicely presented. However, the prices are too high for what’s offered. My friend and I enjoyed our starters, 2 mains and 2 side dishes with 2 bottles of water, no wine no desert, but paying £170 which is premium prices for what felt like 4-star food left me disappointed. Nothing extraordinary to justify the steep bill. Good for a splurge, but not the best value for money.

I tried this place for a change from Fish and Chips. It was rather small but this was ok with me and I sat in front of the chef prep area. I ordered the spicy feta dip and Grandma' s meatballs. I was asked if I wanted still water or fizzy. I chose still.The feta dip was a good portion. I was asked if I wanted some bread or naan. I chose naan. I had a diet coke. The dip came and then one piece of naan. The still water came in a bottle. It was lukewarm and tasted like tap water. I finished with the dip having run out of naan. I then had my meatballs which came with a dip and some pomegranate seeds. I had another diet coke and finished with mint tea. No alcohol. The bill came to 61.29 pounds with a discretionary service of 13.5 percent. So I found out the water was 5 pounds and the one piece of naan was an unbelievable 8 pounds. My small dish of meatballs was 20 pounds. Not sure why the word discretionary was used for the service tip as it was added to the bill. In the end I did not think much of this whole meager meal and the ala carte cost of things. I always though if you ordered a dip you got something to eat with your dip that did not add cost to your bill. I would not recommend this place. Too little for too much money.

We have been here a couple of times previously and had good experiences but ate here last night for the first time in a year or so with friends and for the price, it was shockingly poor. Almost all of the dishes were overpowered with salt or had very underwhelming flavour profiles. The restaurant had run out of many dishes and both me and my girlfriend have had bad stomachs since this meal. The bill came to £260(?!) and we don’t drink. We were barely there an hour. Service was nonchalant and had little regard for us as anything more than a wallet. An outrageous rip off and felt embarrassed to have suggested it. We will not be returning.

Small bustling place. Imaginative sharing plates and friendly service. Good quality ingredients, in fact some excellent dishes, all nicely presented. Unfortunately this is simply too expensive for what it is, and as a result I won’t be a regular even though I live locally.

We visited at short notice booking earlier that evening. We were greeted in a most welcoming manner. The service was excellent and quick. The food was very interesting and delicious. It was everything an evening out should be.

Sadly we both had dodgy stomachs after eating at Suzi Tros. I did not feel well at all that evening. When we arrived at 2ish at the restaurant the waitress said she wasn't making cocktails "this morning" five mins later another group arrived and ordered cocktails... not sure why we were treated differently. Instead we were offered lemonade that was 5 pounds each! My main came and had a short black hair in it. When the dish was replaced sadly the smokey taste was over powering and it was so salty, not enjoyable at all. Real shame as we were so looking forward to our meal there. It was all rather expensive for a tapas / small plates type of dining.

Ho prenotato un tavolo per due per una cena con la mia fidanzata specificando che la booking fosse per un "date" e ci han dato un tavolo in un angolo contro il muro in una posizione davvero spiacevole. Nonostante fosse mercoledì sera, la sala era piena (il posto é davvero piccolo) ed estremamente rumoroso. Non vi era l'atmosfera che ci aspetta guardando il sito. Menu con pochissime opzioni stampato su un foglio di carta, chiedo dunque se facessero le dolmados o il saganaki, ma la cameriera non sapeva neanche cosa fossero... ordiniamo e dopo qualche minuto la cameriera torna dicendo che l'aragosta che la mia ragazza ha ordinato non era più disponibile. Decidiamo di prendere giusto diversi piatti da dividere, visto che non eravamo particolarmente stuzzicati dalle poche opzioni dei primi piatti. £9 per un normalissimo tsatsiki che viene servito senza pane e senza pita ci è sembrato eccessivo e anche il resto del cibo che era di qualità media di certo non valeva il prezzo pagato. In sintesi, si mangia discretamente, ma non vale quanto si paga.

My Greek wife has given me the Mazi cookbook many years ago and we have perused it to cure our modern greek fix regularly as greek food is not only since Brexit hard to come by in the UK, especially innovative one - even. Metropolis as London possibly only has 4 decent greek restaurants 2 are owned by Adrien and Christina and fullily enough is said to my wife the guy going in with us looks like the bloke in the Mazi Cookbook and it was indeed Adrien the owner who then welcomed us guided us to our table and advised us on our dinner I had chosen Suzy Tros as in Mazi we knower the Menu (care of the book) It was like in a modern restaurant in Athens or the islands- great produce well made and served with a smile Metsovone Croquettes 8/10 Tarama 7/10 Smoked Aubergine 9/10 Octopus 9/10 Meatballs 8/10 We had such an animated conversation that either we forgot to order a raw item or it was overheard - we will never know but this left space for a small dessert We had some cocktails which are innovative (they also have a bar below the place) and a great greek wine list- full marks

Great food, friendly staff. We especially liked the tzatziki, calamari with jalapeño broth, and grilled, smoked aubergine.

Σύγχρονη ελληνική κουζίνα, εστιατορικη παρουσίαση κλασσικών ελληνικών πιάτων με εξαιρετική γεύση!!! Μη αναμενόμενο αλλά πολύ νόστιμο οι τηγανητές μπάμιες!! Το μενού δίνει στον επισκέπτη μια νότα Ελλάδας κι ας βρίσκεσαι στο Λονδίνο! Το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικό κ ευγενέστατο!!! Η τιμή για το είδος του εστιατορίου ήταν οκ! Η επίσκεψη μας εκεί μας ικανοποίησε απόλυτα!

Thank you Roy and team for a fantastic experience! The lamb tacos and grilled calamari were the highlights. Young and buzzing atmosphere and delicious cocktails.

Visited with family and had an amazing evening. I cannot rate this restaurant higher - the staff, food and atmosphere was amazing. The service is excellent, the food is full of flavour and the cocktails and wine are top notch. Hats off to the owner for running such a class restaurant at reasonable prices. We'll be back!!

My dad came into to town to visit me and his small hotel recommended us to go to Suzi Tros. We came with no reservation on a Friday night and we were seated right away at table in the center of the room, which we just felt lucky to have. But the amazing manager, Roy, kept checking in on us making sure we were comfortable and offered to seat us elsewhere if we weren’t. Amazing hospitality. From start to finish EVERY course we had was remarkable, we started with their broccoli appetizer then had the meatballs with tzatziki, the white fish and profiteroles for desert. 10/10 meal with great cocktails and staff service. I will certainly be coming back again. Thank you again for dinner that was my dad’s favorite for the whole trip.

I went for dinner to Suzi Tros with my wife and two friends. We had fantastic food, excellent service and had a lovely time. The smoked aubergine was delicious, as was the tuna tartare, taramasalata and meatballs.

My husband and I went here with our daughter and had a brilliant time. We started off downstairs in the bar with some amazing cocktails, definitely set us up for the night. Food was absolutely delicious, ordered a selection and would recommend the roast cauliflower, lamb tacos, and meatballs, profiteroles to finish were fabulous. All the staff were brilliant, a special shout out to Roy who was amazing, will definitely be coming back again soon!

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this restaurant. My boyfriend and I live locally in Lancaster Gate and stumbled upon this place and it’s honestly our new fav. Delicious, fresh authentic Greek food. With amazing staff, special shout out to Roy! We can’t wait to come back. Food was so good I only got one picture. Highly recommend 10/10
