Sutton Park Cafe in Birmingham

not a bad cafe just a bit pricey, probably because it's the edge of sutton park.

A nice little café near the entrance. Nothing fancy but very welcome.

Visited today for a latte and hot chocolate, drinks were hot but tasteless, the latte went in the bin after a sip. Toilet was grim. Won't be visiting again.

Cheap produce, under cooked, was ill all weekend 😫 not impressed stay clear

It looked great but did a quick stop for bottle of water and they charged £1.20 for one small bottle of Costco multi pack water (that’s like 10 times the price for one). business is business I get that but £1.20 for Costco bottled water is extortionate still paid as the little one needed it. Wouldn’t have mind if it was Evian or other branded water But yeah, makes me think twice from going there for anything else

A simple, straightforward cafe that serves the basics well. They cook the food fresh so you always get a great bacon sandwich.

Found this by accident when I was shooting my Autumn Minis . Such a little gem. Will definitely visit again

Lovely breakfast with a proper pot if tea

We had walked from the other side of the park and stopped off here for a cuppa and rest our legs for 5. We had a cuppa and a muffin sat outside. It wasn’t very busy at all but the staff were friendly enough.

I can not believe the amount of people giving negative reviews because they have been asked not to eat their own food on the cafe premises. They are business selling food and drink on what planet would people think it's exceptable to eat their own food. I eat there regularly and I have witnessed people being told not eat their own food and most reply with attitude and abuse. My personal experience after over 17 yrs of eating there is the food is excellent and they carn't do enough for you, drink are ace especially the coffee and latte. Ice creem is the best in the park and finally the prices are good and you leave full and with money left in your wallet Anyone reading the other reviews ignore them and make up your own mind 10 stars from me

Fantastic breakfast cafe. When we order food is always on time and comes piping hot. It is packaged well so we can enjoy. The food is very tasty. I always judge a cafe by the quality of their veggie sausages and Town Cafe was perfect! Great quality which says a lot. Quality ingredients through out thank you.

We regularly use this cafe as we do Parkride with our sen child at mencap. My neurotypical daughter loves an ice cream we have a coffee however I’m sure most of you understand who have sen children feeding them unusual foods does not go down well. My husband took the kids some today as I’m ill. He tried to feed our son discretely a pain au chocolate whilst watching our daughter in the queue getting an ice cream and was told he wasn’t allowed to eat that there. He disclosed our son’s condition which we don’t really like doing to explain why we eating our own food and was told no he’d have to leave even though they saw our daughter in the queue ready to buy. Cue two upset kids on Boxing Day. Merry Christmas sutton park cafe you will never get our business again! Disgusting behaviour

As a support worker, I have come here on several occasions. The food is always piping hot and fresh. My colleague enjoys the Chicken burger, while my Client enjoys chicken nuggets and mash. The pricing is also Reasonable. The Lovely lady Marina is very good with customer service. Plenty of parking space outside, Seating area available and Dine in. With Disabled access and toilets are available

We visit here once a week for breakfast before walking in Sutton park. The food is always freshly cooked to order and consistent. Would highly recommend the plated breakfast and it's also really good value.

The plumpish woman and a younger male version of her were both incredibly rude. Very unpleasant experience.

Good place to remove the hunger before walking off the calories around Sutton park. Pleasant efficient staff what else could you ask for.

Had a beautiful breakfast this morning with friends every meal was well cooked and not greasy, quality food cook perfect and those hash browns are better than any I've had, service was friendly and quick, not busy at 10am plenty of seats inside and out, vegi options very good even for vegans (toast with vegan butter excellent) drinks also great, thank you and see you again very soon

Terrible. Not willing to refill a re-useable bottle of water, despite it being hot and having a toddler with me. They simply refused and said “not able to do that”

Had a day in the area for the Commonwealth games, asked for a water refill as it was a very warm and long day. Man rudely refused. I always carry my water bottle with me and usually have no problem refilling wherever I ask. Such a shame as everyone else I spoke to in the locality had been really friendly and had all come together to support the Commonwealth teams.

Extremely Rude woman working there her attitude is disgusting!!! And judging by all the comments we can't all be wrong!!! I would definitely steer clear of this place!! They need to brush up on their costumer service skills massively aswell as changing their disgusting attitude!

Not even worth one star. Very rude and unpleasant staff. I think you all need to rethink your customer service skills because they are truly lacking.

If i could give this minus stars i would. Disgusting customer service especially from the unpleasantly plump woman who was extreemly aggressive to us in front of our young children (all under the age 4) all because our children had sandwiches of their own while the adults including myself was willing to purchase food from the cafe menu. She was extreemly rude, aggressive and intimidating aswell as the other members of staff, the main lady even got into my sisters face because she accidentally bumped her pram wheel into the highchair leg. Disgraceful

Great place to pop in and have breakfast or lunch. Does get very busy at weekends though. Very friendly family business.

Unfriendly woman working there and had a big mouth towards a disabled guest because he unpacked his food on a table . I wouldn't take my dog there to eat

OK for a quick cheap snack whilst at this gate of the park. Indoor and outdoor eating. Right next to the children's play area. Toilets not great and only one (male, female and disabled). Long queue. The people in the cafe try to keep it clean. Come on Birmingham City Council, it doesn't cost much to add another cubicle and modernise the existing one!

The grey-haired plump woman barged into a quiet, private conversation we were having at our table when she brought us our food. She raised her voice at us and told us we weren't welcome at the cafe. It was awful. I will never, ever go back there.

Doing a good job. I had a coffee for £2.20. Coffee was okay, not quite Under Pressure Espresso or Coffee One, but the views certainly make up for it. A good selection of snacks including ice creams etc

We ordered food from this cafe after we had gave the kids some sandwiches to then be told we couldn't have our own food in there. I wouldn't mind if we were told this before we had spent around £50 between our group on their food. The attitude of the person that runs it was disgusting, I asked why there was no signs to say we couldn't bring a sandwich in and he replied saying he didnt have to put signs up..... I think this is just common sense to do if you dont want it to happen. We then moved outside while we were eating our sandwiches for them to say we couldn't use their tables and chairs either so we then had to move onto the grass to eat our own food and then go back into the cafe to eat the food that was ordered. I just think for sutton park to be strict with their policies they need to out some sort of sign up to say so, they also need to sort the bloke in cafe out and teach him some manners and a bit of customer services.

Never been there but I'm sure it's a nice place.
