Went to this shop on Coventry Rd.. The atmosphere is great and I love the decor ,it's very good and has a great theme.. Customer service was OK .. I feel like the deliveries were prioritised over walk in customers but I could be wrong.. The food I ordered looked great on the menu but tastes like nothing.. The hotdog which I paid 6.50 tastes like nothing and was disgusting.. The original burger I had the meat had no taste and I only tastes the tomatoes .. I'm always looking for a good burger locally but I will never waste my money here again

Good burger and fries but was not very hot

Ordered a munch box. The corn ribs and smashburger were decent, and the milkshake was okay. Also had a chicken burger, which was very dry and the portion of chips was very small.

Ordered the iftar box honestly never tasted something so off and bad only decent thing was the date milkshake never again

The food was ok but totally got my order wrong, I asked for no gherkins and they put loads in the burger. They need to pay attention to customers request.

I ordered for collection and the server said 10 minutes and it’ll be ready, it’s been 40 minutes and the food still isn’t ready. When asked about it they kept saying few minutes, service isn’t great.

They still sell coca cola. I got a mushroom beef burger. The burger was OK but this cold bun trend is rank. It just tastes like bread. It needs to be toasted. The patty was nice. And also they added 3 slices of mushrooms. Either they ran out or proper conjuice. Basically I had a smashed burger with a couple of mushrooms.. Which my son ate. A bit pointless. Kid got a kids meal.. They add some cheap American cheese, literally like plastic and cheap tomato sauce. It was so rank. The fries and hash brown tater tots is huge. So only buy one.. Enough for two people. Not a place to dine in. Door constantly open and full of delivery drivers. Guy on till nice enough.

Ordered a munchbox on uber eats, the tenders were not fresh and smelt. None of the food was fresh. I was looking most forward to the mac and cheese and they replaced it with something else. Would not order again

Ventured in yesterday evening for the 1st time. I ordered the £7.50 burger (chicken) meal, very hot. Customer service was genuine, kind & polite. The fries were amazing and the burger was absolutely tasty. The meal was not a big one, but very well worth £7.50 Please continue your great service. I'll be coming here more often. Oh, love the decor also.

I ordered a Meal Deal for 1 (Extra Hungry) via Uber Eats; I received a very small very tasty burger… strips was dry … fries tastes like it’s worth less than £2…. Smothered in sauce to mask the dryness and the sauce is disgusting, they also forgot my drink and dips. I had rang the restaurant upon receipt of my delivery and stated I will be leaving a very honest review… the reply was please don’t and had lied saying they have gave the drink…. I had spent nearly £30 for £6/7 worth of food. Avoid if you can

Nice food delicious although the price for what it is are outrageous and well overpriced just basic the portions sizes for the food it’s like a 3yr olds meal the food is really good tho it’s a shame the milkshake was a size off a shot class for 6.50 it ain’t that good we’ll overpriced it’s disgusting don’t see how they get away with it wouldn’t come here again or order off just eat go somewhere eles put the prices down and make the portions bigger place is overrated overpriced and overhyped.

Very good and friendly service. My favourite is the Loaded Fries with everything and classic Phat Chick with extra well done fried egg and no tomato. It's comfy to sit in and eat. Good work 💯👍🏿

The most expensive burger I've ever had. The burger was tasty but nothing special. You're better off with a KFC Zinger burger if you wish to pay less. Definitely not worth the price.

Purchased loaded fries. They put grated cheese instead of cheese sauce, no salt on the fries and the chicken was sparce and dry. Awful.

Food is nothing special, just your average. I ordered a mushroom burger, the most expensive veggie burger in birmingham 😅. Just came as a burger on its own, no sides or salads. It was presented nicely. However, it's very light and not very filling at all. Went next door to the newsagent for snacks to fill up! The restaurant was very cold but well decorated. I asked them to turn the heating on, which they did, but still cold to sit in and eat in. It's not somewhere I would personally return to. My friends feel the same way.

I ordered the phatbox, worst food ever. Focus on the food quality instead of your silly TikTok’s. The Mac and cheese was extremely watery and bland and has a piece of American cheese stuck on it, the burger was chewy and taste cheap, the tenders are definitely not 100% chicken, pure fat on them. I was really looking forwards to giving this place a go and I’m so annoyed that I spent my money on this rubbish.

The milkshake is the best drink they serve. The chocolate in it is marvellous and mouthwatering. The Burger is so tasty and filled with flavour. I am so lucky to live local to this wonderful and fine establishment with lots of potential to be one of the best shops near me.

Ordered on Uber had 2 of the phat box’s. Burgers was nice not amazing. Chicken wings with BBQ sauce was tasty also had it with pop tots which come with grated cheese and crumbled burger over again nothing amazing. Food wise it is nice. I ordered a milk shake and it’s so tiny not worth the money.

I recently ordered from Phatbuns and was thoroughly disappointed with the entire experience. Despite living just a 2-minute drive from the restaurant, my food arrived cold and stale. The Angus beef burger, which I expected to be juicy and flavorful, was stone-cold and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The mac and cheese was even worse—it was bland, had an unpleasant texture, and tasted like it had been reheated several times. For the premium prices they charge, I expected a much higher quality meal. It honestly felt like they didn’t put any effort into preparing or ensuring the food arrived in good condition. Given how much I paid, I feel completely let down. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again unless there’s a significant improvement. Not worth the money at all.

Ordered online looked amazing like genuinely amazing on paper the greatest burger you've never had. They also claimed it was buy one get one free so 4 insane burgers of 20 quid thought it was the deal of a lifetime ended up with 2 burgers insanely small and really just not great so they lied and had a soggy bun please avoid like the plague I will be seeking compensation.

Scam store, I purchased a deal via Uber. It was buy 1 get 1 free and they only sent one burger. I rang the store to chase the missing items and they were rude and very unprofessional, showed no interest in resolving the issue. Money hungry with no morals. Ps: please don’t judge and assume it was only an offer deal, well in fact I ended up spending more to qualify for the deal, and then to be scammed store doesn’t make it any easier

We went with the family , great food everyone had something different .lots to choose on the menu . Definitely come back .

We ordered our food at 4 and were told that it would be delivered between 6:05 and 6:20. By 6:25 it still hadn’t turned up, and when we rang to check they said it would be with us in half an hour. We didn’t receive our delivery until 7:10. And the food was passable but definitely not worth a 3 hour wait.

PHAT BUNS has it all! From nice burgers to thier Frozen Fanta. Prefer the Crinkle Fries. Best thing is, they've started Desserts! Cookie Dough was really nice. Crusty on the edges and soft in the middle.

Excellent experience. Staff polite. Food excellent. Totally different experience of eating a burger. Well worth a visit.

I really dislike being misled. I was under the impression, erroneously, that my Burger had the option to come with "loaded fries" for which there was a premium. The server waited until the food was delivered to bill me which is when I discovered that "Loaded Fries" were a dish on their own and my bill was £25. The burger was , a little dry for my taste but the "Loaded Fries"? Beyond poor.... Atrocious. The "Loading" consisted of less Fries and then chopped burgers, and a drizzle of nacho cheese with salad?! The price of the Fries was higher than the average burger! I hate giving negative reviews but you can order numerous better options and not be misled in the local area. Must do better.

GUYS although usually its a burger spot be aware and don't waste your money on Wings, absolutely waste of effort to try and eat them! Purchased lemon and Pepper wings meal, Firstly they're niblets and not wings as you expect, flavour is so dry and and the chicken very minimum it's like eating fried coating. Very Disappointing!

Fantastic selection of food, including burgers, rib sandwich, philly cheesesteak and fudge brownie cookidough was fire🔥. Real, quality ingredients, Frozen fanta too! Worth a visit if you are in the area or fancy delivery and service is on point, the staff are friendly and welcoming. It was more than i expected.

Gave them a chance trying the food even though the 3 staff were talking in their own language and laughing at my face while I was asking them about a burger on the menu.Some dead processed burger meals costed an arm and leg and man tried asking a £1 for each sauce tub. Avoid coming here at all.

Food was good same as always but the staff are not at all help full the server hanan would not care to help when ordering or making a change to the sandwich. I have been many times before and the staff usually help but for some reason he was not in the helping mood lost a customer today very disappointed won't be coming again.

Very expensive and poor quality for what it is, the classic burger was tiny with two very thin patties and tasted of nothing really and looked nothing like the picture, give way too many fries (again tasted of cardboard). Guys behind the counter looked like they didnt want to be there, didnt ask me if i wanted the wierd 'Phat Sauce' they covered the burger in. Won't be going here again.

Dirty table and seating area - had to ask for it to be cleaned. No toilets available due to it being such a small place. The burger and sandwich that we ordered were not anything special, especially considering the prices. There was nobody else there and we didn’t order much tbh but still everything didn’t arrive at once - had to keep asking for our drinks and extras. Having said that, the side of potato tots that we ordered was a very generous amount and their frozen drinks are quite tasty. But overall, definitely won’t be returning again sadly.

absolutely shocking experience here. service was so slow, waited 35 minutes for 2 burgers and the milkshakes came out once we had finished the meal and opening the milkshakes caused a mess which they were clearly aware about as they had tissues waiting to give us, seating arrangements were ridiculously tight and the atmosphere was simply horrible. comparatively, the price of the food was not reflected in its standard and tasted mediocre.

Only getting a 1 star because I ordered food on the phone he then told me he would cook it when I get there( so obviously pointless having a number) I then told him I can eat else where if they won’t have it ready, he then told he would have it ready, then I get there and guess what they haven’t even thought about cooking it after a 20 min drive I spend over £70 a week in there and used them since last pool road Seem like they have lost there customers since last pool road

Extortionate prices. Online they have a meal option in store theyll force you to pay extra £5 for fries and when you tell them put it as a meal they act stupid like theyve never worked there before. Sort your staff and prices out have some shame.

Ordered a couple of Rib sandwiches As you can see from pics, half the sandwich is a smashed burger and half is rib meat. The amount of rib meat was minimal in my opinion and tastewise wasn't impressed because of the overly sweet sauce put on the meat. Paying premium prices just for the sandwich not including the fries or drinks, I would have expected something to have my taste buds tingling. My advice to anyone wanting a rib sandwich is go visit Holy Smokes. That ribwich sandwich is absolutely mouthwatering.👌💯🔥🔥🔥 We left this place very disappointed and still hungry truth be told. Like I always say everyones taste buds differ and opinions are different but this is just my honest opinion.

We decided to try out the burger place recommended by a food reviewer on TikTok. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the small food portions, especially the burger which was not very filling. The sauces on the wings were plain and lacked flavor, and the loaded fries were also underwhelming. Overall, we were not impressed and I don't think we'll be returning. I ordered 8 pieces buffalo wings in 17 May 2024 but it was too salty. My advice to owners sometimes try your foods otherwise one you will close your business. I don’t come anymore

Inflation has hit the world quite hard, is kind of annoying when you go to a pub, bar, restaurant and try to justify certain prices for certain dishes, then you leave and think… “actually that was not worth it” The honest truth is that this place has genuinely nailed it. We’ve now been to this place 3 times and it has genuinely not disappointed. From the staff, down to their marketing and presentation; of-course including their menu items being genuine thought out. What is key is that their menu items are well balanced; you might be enticed to think the burgers are underwhelming when you first see them after seeing their original imagery on menus or online but the reality is that burgers have the right amount of ingredients. Not overdoing it leaving you stuffed on a food coma. So again, well balanced. If you’re second guessing trying this place this is your sign to do so. As a note for the owners; honestly start scaling up to central areas around the city with better footfall or better parking. Is obvious this is not your first project in this industry and you have hit the ground running with it all very well. Best of luck.

Really appreciated place where you can have the best burger within the area. Would highly recommend the chicken burger, they do have loads of options and very tasty. The chips are delicious and worth trying. Maybe a bit pricy compared to other places but really great. Pretty small place but still okay

The food is nice but way overpriced. Paid £12.25 for a burger fries and drink. They wanted 75p extra for ketchup !. First and last time at phat buns . The only thing phat is about is their profit margins. The atmosphere is non existent as i was the only one there, The place has a industrial feel about. Service was spot on, fries portion is ok but you pay £2.50 for them. Can of sprite was £1.75. But the burger was £8! I ate it in 5 bites! Come on £8 and its not even a decent size. I didn't feel full but content. However, i felt somewhat short-changed and underwhelmed. Come on sort out your prices. Anyway it's not for me as there is much better out there and cheaper.

Do not order from Uber eats. This is the second time I have ordered, both times requesting no mustard just ketchup. And both times they have put mustard. The hot dog on its own was not fresh, can tell it’s been there a while, when I tried to call and get in touch they clearly did not care.

in love with this place. from the moment i entered it was an amazing friendly environment and the food was not at all limited. i decided to go for a cheetos burger and i loved it! The tots were soft and succulent and the chicken was immaculate! i felt so satisfied with my burger craving and then went on to try the s’mores milkshake. i promise you this is the best milkshake i have ever come across and its become an addiction 😋😋😋. the staff were super helpful and quick and made the experience more better then it was. definitely would have again
