Love this place and will definitely be back to eat here again. The menu is fab, usually sushi you would expect and then some interesting extras. It's really well priced too. Great staff and also very good beer.

Lovely birthday lunch ! Friendly service lovely food and yes it is a pub but still nice to have a sushi place on the fish quay! We really enjoyed the gyozas and the tempura prawn roll (8 pieces per roll) lots of other options other than sushi on the menu too. Another Dog friendly tasty venue to add to our list 👍

Very disappointed. Went in expecting a lovely sushi restaurant, and instead encountered a pub that serves a bit of sushi. Out of stock for many ingredients for advertised cocktails. Limited sushi menu clearly geared towards an immature palette. Sushi was subpar -- salmon smelled fishy and predominant flavor was cream cheese. It was early, and it quickly became just a loud pub. Won't go back and will not recommend.

We had booked a table so when we arrived we waited at a point were lots of menus were on display but there was no signage to say wait here to be seated eventually after about ten minutes a young waiter asked are you alright, having told him we had a table booked he ignored all the tables with reserved signs on them and proceeded to clear a previously used table and prepare it for us, eventually we were seated and then ignored for another twenty minutes whilst waiter upon waiter wondered by like lost souls they had obviously been told under no circumstances to make eye contact otherwise someone might give you something to do. Eventually we went in search of a waiter and guided him back to our table after another long long long wait we got our food, then the dread decision, do we have pudding, if yes how would we ever get served, we decided to go for it, another hunt for a waiter and another long wait our order arrived, four ice creams and a treacle sponge covered in delicious vanilla custard, well eventually they arrived a small scoop and I mean small scoop of chocolate, vanilla and BUBBLEGUM ice cream at £7,50 a pop and a under clocked tasteless sponge with cold supermarket own brand custard, well I have to tell you they will never have our custom again if they are to make this place a going concern they need to replace the manager,

Staying nearby stopped off for a swift drink, good service & clearly popular as quite busy, loved the bare stone walls, the flowery paper looked liked something from the 60’s lol

Visit this pub frequently with family and live in forest hall. It’s a lovely pub and we always call in for a drink on a nice day when walking the dogs. They’re friendly and welcoming to all of us, and we always get what we want. It’s a pub, so you get what you bargain for - we normally get two pints of Stella, and large glass of wine and a fruity cider of some sort. We usually get like snacky food to share, nothing too high end. Anybody giving this pub a low rating, for honestly can’t understand why (unless they really dislike dogs). There isn’t a waiter, it’s all bar service, but it’s honestly lovely and always and the staff are always more than happy to help
