I came here today with my two friends and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the front (shanon, the manager, whose name I didnt get and miylin) were amazing and were very attentive to my needs. They made the experience 10x better and the food was amazing. I will come back again!

There was two girls in the evening who were absolutely amazing. They were very helpful with the new menu as it was our first time here. The food was lovely, the best sushi my family and I have tried. We came at a quiet time which was great for us.

Absolutely appalling customer service and delivery for the second time. I pre-ordered sushi for 5 guests at 330 in the afternoon, for delivery at 645pm. By 730, noone from Sushi Shop had contacted me, the food had not arrived, and my guests were waiting. By 915pm, my order had still not arrived. Noone was calling, the delivery driver failed to call or show up, and noone from Sushi Shop had bothered to call to tell me what was going on The excuses: " we are waiting for a driver ". Or " we are having personnel problems but I cannot yell you about it". And again "we are waiting for a driver". This is the second time that I have ordered when having guests and this has happened. More fool me! Zero communication with the customer to say what is going on. And how a Sushi place that just makes sushi, serves sushi, or delivers sushi can think that this is acceptable or cannot find a driver for a pre order is just mind-blowing. This will be the last time we try to buy from this chain. Absolutely appalling.

I am customer at Brompton road south Kent for years and few times that I have been there the people working there aren’t very nice. Talk to us ironically as if they are doing a favour for us. Honestly recycling costumer service and management would be a good start. Last Saturday I have been there and it was unbelievable what I bought. The quality of our meal had a terrible taste, look and texture. I felt I bought my meal at any supermarket. Doesn’t look or taste a fresh. Throwing away was the only thing we managed to do. I took pictures because I think they surved us with a box that was there all week. This is was the end. One thing we tolerate the staff with bad services other thing buy something which looked poorly and tasted horrible. At least we should deserve fresh food....:-(((.

Have never been so appalled, worst customer service I have ever experienced when eating out! DO NOT come here, you will be wasting your money.The greeting wasn't the friendliest and when ordering was warned that the wait may be 15-20 mins as they had many take out orders in the queue. I was okay with that but after an HOUR of waiting, I still did not receive my food. Felt sorry for my friend who bought a pre-prepared sushi box and was waiting for my food to arrive so we could enjoy our meal together. I went to check what was happening with my order, there was no apology, was just told that my order was not handed over to the kitchen so only after an hour and me checking did they start preparing. The girl that took my order did say "sorry" in a insincere way. After finally getting my food I had to rush eating it as it was getting late so couldn't really enjoy it. In addition to this, the toilet had no toilet paper either which was not ideal to say the least.What really flabbergasted me was that not even half way through my meal one of the staff said that it was their closing time and told us to leave. I was not even offered a lid for my food and literally had to walk and eat the rest on my way to the tube. It's not a cheap place so really wanted to savour the meal but with such horrendous customer service it was impossible.I was going to ask for a refund but we were kicked out so quickly that I didn't even get the chance to. Will definitely tell all my friends who work/live in the area to never visit this place!Absolutely terrible, I am still in shock to be honest. Will never come here again or even order take out, as principles. Save some extra quid and go to Wasabi instead if you're craving sushi!If I could give half a star, I would.

Siempre hemos tenido problemas con sus entregas, siempre retrasadas sin razón aparente. The sushi is good but extremely expensive, so it would be normal to expect good service. We ordered recently using Deliveroo, the rider went to the restaurant 3 times and food was not ready - we had to have a big fight with Deliveroo to get the order cancelled but by then the evening was ruined and stressful, all because the restaurant promised delivery timescales that were massively different to what they could deliver.

Got takeout sushi twice in three days at this great little sushi place near the South Kensington tube shop. You can eat in or take out. Food is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced — the price was a pleasant exception to London prices. Friendly employees, plentiful and interesting options, and a great find.

We tried almost all types of single rolls and two boxes. One was a jubilee special box. Flushed tastes, very raw fish, shrimps. Everything that should contain a perfect sushi. Highly recommend!

Honestamente, uno de los mejores sushi que he probado en Londres. Estoy particularmente exigentes con sushi, pero éste era delicioso y la presentación increíble, como uno podría esperar por su precio. La ubicación también era genial, con una especie de patio en la zona exterior y justo al lado de la estación de South Kensington. Sin duda volveremos, en el verano, cuando el sol, con amigos, para comer este sushi bien! Mención especial para el personal de este restaurante. Fui hoy por primera vez y no fue una buena experiencia. Primero: tuvimos que asiento fuera causa de dentro es pequeña y no había espacio. Segundo: después de esperar un rato, tuve que ir en frente de la casa (con cuatro personal haciendo nada) a la orden. No encontré lo que estaba buscando, incluso si era la hora del almuerzo! Si se llama "la comida" en el menú hay una razón. Nunca más.

Wandered in famished, and looking for a quick bite. I had a prepared (same day) sushi platter (tuna, salmon, crab roll) and colleague had his fresh made. Both were excellent, and came with either rice or soup. In a city with really good quick serve sushi (ie Yo! Sushi), this seemed to take it up a notch. It was tasty, staff were great! price was right

Cuando pedí a la asistente del director nos ofreció varios cortesía miso sopas. Allí fue muy adecuado suministro de wasabi y soja./jengibre Un montón de servilletas y chop se pega. Was going to go to Wasabi across the road but it was very busy so came here n it was cheaper and very yum. I'm a big sushi fan so pretty picky n thought the ready made food tray options were fresh enough n plenty to choose from. Not much room inside on a wet day to sit but was fine for 10mins. Would go back again if I'm in the area.

I haven't eaten in but I often get lunch to go when I'm working nearby. It's not Nobu but it's very good quality for a takeaway joint. Their chirashi bowls are like catnip to me. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. On the pricey side, though.

Sushi shop is our to go place for a box of sushi for a special occasion. You do need to order it in advance, or there is a long wait for collection as the speciality boxes are made to order. Always good quality and something we always look forward to. Well worth the cost.

I have ordered delivery from this place a few times to assess that it is chronically disorganised and highly inefficient. Once they forgot part of my order (but charged for it), twice they delivered with one hour delay... The last time I called to complain and I was hanged up. For the price honestly this is unacceptable and I strongly recommend NOT to order your sushi here.

We waited over an hour for the sushi - the only thing we asked was one omission in one of the dishes, the same omission we ask for every single time. But what comes after such a long wait, the wrong order. We send the bike back and call the shop. Not only is there a long wait to speak to someone but the call is disconnected before we speak to a human being. Four times we tried to reach them and could not get through. No more chances. I do not recommend this place.

This name synonymous of the best of the sushi here . The service , the food and the freshness of the food will make crave for more . The prices are upwards but the best can be tastes . Unlike the fast food joints this offers the healthy , delicate for the Japanese food veg/ non veg. lovers . It is not for the people on budget . Must try effect !

Ordered takeaway from Sushi Shop while visiting a friend in South Kensington...what a treat! Ordered a ton of rolls, edamame, and other apps and weren't disappointed. My only disappointment is that I don't live in South Kensington to have this as my local sushi delivery spot. It's wonderful and very fresh!

Came in and wanted to order a takeaway, it seemed like the staff didnt even know their menu well enough. There were very little options on the shelf too, although the value was not as expensive as other better options out there this place was slow, it took 20 minutes for them to make a California roll and 5 minutes just to scoop some rice as apparently they said it came with the meal but when i checked the reciept i had to pay £3 more. Not recommended, try Dozo instead.

Sat in the restaurant and waited over an hour for our £43 (for 2 people) sushi to arrive. We were the only people in the restaurant. The miso soup was cold, they refused to warm the edamame beans up (health and safety reasons) and the Tuna sashimi took well over half an hour longer to come than everything else.

I ordered from this sushi shop quite frankly not impressed...you can go to Nobu and pay the same price. Not to mention they seem to feel that you have to order separately for soya sauce because that is apparently not a given when someone orders sushi! I live locally and I recommend no one orders from here you are better off going to sushi restaurants that know what they are doing not to mention have some kind of idea of customer service!

Si tienes hambre y quieres comer algo diferente está este local frente al metro.Se dedican más al tipo de ventas para llevar, aunque cuentan con una mesa comunitaria para los que deseen comer allí.Local bonito, bien decorado y bien presentado. Lo mismo los rolls. Se ven bien, pero son para pasar él hambre, ningún sabor que asombre o destaque.Lo único que no me gusta es que el arroz este frío, como refrigerado. Pero lo que no pude aceptar es recibir el Edamame totalmente frío. Jamás lo había comido así: ni en Chile, USA, Italia o Argentina. Creo que tienen pequeños detalles que mejorar para ser un buen Restaurant.

Just seconds after I paid £25 for two sushi rolls and a beer, I look over into the kitchen and see an employee coughing into his cloves and then carries on muddling rice into sushi rolls.I'm shocked and perplexed. Don't know what to do. More take away then restaurant, they have one indoor table inside the place where people can sit down and eat. All of their sushi is freshly made on the premises. I had a dragon roll, two seared beef, two seared scallop and a couple of salmon ikura sushi plus three cups of green tea for £33.80.

Right outside South Kensington underground station is this nicely laid out and welcoming sushi place. Most of the business is takeout as there is hardly any place to sit. I was welcomed by a very friendly cashier and helped with extensive menu card.I ordered from their attractive sounding names ( sunset something I think). It had some sushi sashimi etc. It was offered a very neatly packed sushi and free soy sauce and wasabi and gari-ginger.I think the fun ended here.I ate my sushi in my hotel room and was deeply disappointed. Average is the best I can describe it. Fish has no taste, but sushi tasted weird. I had to leave some pieces. The sashimi pieces were at the end of their freshness.Rice was cooked al dente ( in parts- and sis not know that sushi is cooked this way.Unfortunately, I had an option of picking up sushi from Wasabi my usual spot right across from this place ( but I said ---)Not a pleasant experience.

This restaurant is mostly a takeaway service with little seating room so it is surprising that they cannot get the takeaway part right. Unless you are getting your food from the ready selection, which is very limited, they tend to get your order wrong. And what is better, when you order online the website confirms the order but is it not there when you get it. Happened to me twice now and must say the food is not good enough to try this again.

I just ordered a delivery 2 hours and I'm so frustrated that I have to leave a comment right away. The food is horrible!!! I just found at least 4 LONG BLONDE HAIRS in my sushi! It was so disgusting that I just vomit my lunch! This is absolutely unacceptable! I won't be eating sushi for at least a month now!!!

The delivery man tricked my friend into thinking that the meal is £20.9 cuz the printout receipt is blurry when it is actually £20.3. This isn't the first time the receipt is blurry and I'm really disappointed by the delivery man taking advantage of this. I'm starting to have trust issues with sushi shop.

DELIVERY TIME: 1 Hour 10 Min for a small order. Let's say this was very disappointing. I expected at least a courtesy email to tell me food was going to arrive late. The delivery man did not apologize for the delay either. FOOD: 8/10. Absolutely brilliant for the price. I ordered: • Dragon Roll (8 pcs): Definitely for the avocado lovers out there. The thinly sliced avocados add that perfectly smooth texture and it's also ! The salmon roe on top is perfect for that fishy pop in your mouth and the slice of jalapeño has just the right amount of spiciness. Probably one of my favourite rolls! Will definitely order this one again. • Cucumber and avocado roll (6): This is one of my go-to vegetarian makis. The only thing I'd say is the rice could have been more aromatic and a tad more vinegary so you can taste the veggies more. • Miso soup: Okay soup. It doesn't have depth of flavour I was looking for. It comes with a bit of wakame but no tofu or other toppings.

I have been a massively loyal customer of Sushi Shop from the day it opened its doors for the first time. As time went by, the quality and taste of it just became so poor everytime i gave it a go, i had to spit it out! Moreover, now that they have opened their second branch, their customer service has become appalling! I feel so passionate about recommending each and everyone of you to stay away from this place as in my opinion there is nothing worse than a place that gets cocky and takes the piss out of its customers due to expanding! Thank you for reading and do yourselves a favour by avoiding this take away.

Bland sushi, rice cold and dry (as it gets when you prep in advance and put it in the fridge). They claim to use high quality products but a look at the back of their pack shows that they use E numbers and GM maize. Way overpriced for what it is.

Nicely laid out sushi restaurant. I went for the lunch box which consisted of salmon and tuna nigiri, mixed rolls, edamame and cabbage. Came with free soup. It was almost all tasteless unfortunately. The soup was nice but the sushi was super bland. Perhaps it was displayed and kept too cold...In not sure but it was well under the standard of what I have eaten at Wasabi.

We ordered two Lunch Boxes and Assortment Sashimi. Each of them is served with rice or soup. We ordered two rices and one miso soup, but only one rice and one miso soup was delivered. Assortment Sashimi had only salmon, it didn't have tuna, yellow tail or shrimp.

I like Sushi Shop my wife loves sushi shop. She's from Paris so we frequent in Paris and London all the time....Lately take away is turning up dodgy results with no attention to detail and too much rice occasionally.Tonight they told me an unusually long wait of 20 mins... It has now been 50 mins I'm still standing here waiting!!!!!Ridiculous!!!!!

Simply put this is an expensive fast food sushi chain from France, where they put too much rice in all their food. And to make matters worse we all got food poisening. If it had been just one of us we wouldn't have jumped to this conclusion, but 3 out of 4 needs no explanation.Avoid at all cost and go a 5 min walk further to Dozo which is excellent, cheaper and a proper restaurant that also does take away and sushi.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to in London. It’s never easy to successfully add a twist to such an established cuisine, but these guys have figured out a way to do it for every dish. Will definitely be back.
