Excellent food! Though this is our first time trying omakase, we have been to several degustation restaurants m and Sushi on Jones did not dissapoint!!! Been to japan as well as exclusive japanese restaurantsin London, New York and Japan so trust me when i tell you the food was amazing!!!

7 hours before the reservation saying they have to cancel my reservation, with no reason stated. And ask me to cancel it as they are gonna pay if they are the reason to cancel it.

Food concept was tasty, the eel in particular. The execution however was poor, and the venue itself does not lend itself to the same experience as in New York. First half of meal was slow then very rushed due to the tight turn around, devalued the experience.

This is not a review about its food but of the establishment. Had booked a table for 2 last Saturday and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, we missed our meal as we were unable to find the restaurant despite using Google map, scouring the area and asking passersby. We could not also find a contact number on its website to call and ask for direction. We gave up as we had a train to catch. We were charged a total of £40 on credit card for a 'no-show' as per Sushionjones policy which we were fully aware of. I emailed them the same day to explain the unexpected difficulty we had for not turning up and asked whether a refund of our £40 penalty, as a gesture of goodwill, was possible. Disappointingly, no reply was forthcoming, so I decided to email the New York head office and have yet to hear from anyone. What riles me is their complete silence on the matter. They could have perfectly reasonably responded by stating that the surcharge was company policy and a refund was not possible. I would have accepted it but instead they chose to ignore our plea.

Been there the first time last year when they just opened and it was fantastic, couldn't wait to be back again. I was so happy when I saw the reopening post on Instagram. They updated the menu and it's simply outstanding!
