Excellent for business lunch and chill dinner this place stands out when it comes to service, atmosphere and delicious taste of food they serve. Every time I went I took some food for take away with me. Every time the waiter's recommendation was perfect to my taste and liking. Very good interior design, lighting and chill music makes this place very pleasant to visit and soothing. I'm planning on visiting again!

We have come multiple times for dinner and the sushi is such good quality every single time at a very reasonable price. It’s our favourite restaurant in town.

Really delicious food. We had prawns (tempura and butter chilli) to start, they were generous portions and absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh and so tasty. Will definitely be back!

While the place looks decent and nicely decorated, the food didn’t hit the spot unfortunately! Recently visited on a weeknight. It was a quiet time and the service was quick. Staff was attentive. We ordered Tom Yum Soup to begin with - was ok, nothing over the top and felt like it was missing something. Spring rolls were ok too. While in the mains we had chicken chowmein which was probably the only decent thing we liked. I was looking forward to Chicken Ramen but it was very basic. The broth didn’t feel fresh or flavourful. I may return another day for chowmein only! P.S. they told us their chicken is sourced via a halal vendor, however not certified halal.

Beautiful restaurant really captures that japanese feel. All the food was excellent and the drinks were lovely. Would highly recommend if you’re a visitor to York like myself!

Bought through uber eats, first off was really late. The pad Thai was embarrassingly tiny, the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. It was also slimy. The prawn crackers were hard with grainy hard bits in. The Tom yum soup was tasteless. Finally very expensive for what it was. I can’t understand why it has such good reviews (which is what we bought on) will never buy from there again

We booked a venue for approximately 60 people to host a family get-together. The first floor was reserved, and the arrangements, including decorations, were entrusted to the Sushi Moto team. They delivered everything with exceptional style and professionalism. The food, both for lunch and dinner, was outstanding. There was plenty to go around, and the staff were highly attentive, ensuring that dishes were replenished promptly whenever they ran low. Throughout the event, the staff kept us informed about the schedule and what to expect next. The team was incredibly polite and respectful, consistently going the extra mile to ensure our comfort and address any potential issues. Special mention goes to Mr. Nishant, who was dedicated to assisting us throughout the event. He was proactive, quick to respond, and always ready to help. If you're looking for a venue to accommodate around 100 people, I highly recommend Sushi Moto. Their excellent staff and outstanding food make for a fantastic experience. Food was amazing! However staff were a bit slow even though the restaurant was empty. Would visit again though as the sushi rolls were top notch!

For our small group we booked the first floor. It was decorated and prepared at the eleventh hour. the stewardess was rude. Not enough cables for the Dj mixer. Unused chairs was stacked awkwardly in the same floor, it was messy. But the food was delicious.

Went for a dinner, we were quickly seated and order taken promptly. The staff are polite and nice. Our Nepali dishes were served quick while the Sushi took a while which we were informed about. The nepali dish can be better ✨

Excellent sushi selection and can also recommend the whole sea bass and beef in honey and chilli oil from the hot menu. Service was very attentive and looking forward to trying more dishes next time.

The one I had on Friday was fantastic. The tuna pokebowl was so neat and it had a small side of puffed rice and crispy onions. The Avocado was so perfectly sliced and ripe. Today's was a let down. it was almost as thought it had been thrown together and there was no crispy onions or puffed rice. The Avocado wasn't ripe at all and the tuna didn't taste fresh either. It won't stop me from ordering again but it will definately have to be on a Friday as the quality was better.

The food is freshly prepared. Beautiful presentation and tasted as good as it looked. This is a real gem in Aldershot!

Gone here before for dine in & take away. Had family in so we went for dinner. Lovely and welcoming staff, the food was & is always good. Even got a mocktail this visit that was served so fancy. £50 for 4 people was a steal + the welcoming service. I recommend the Nepalese menu as well. Just need to invest in an aircon.

The food here is superb - everything we ordered was delicious and we would definitely recommend a visit. I have deducted a star though because we hated ordering through our phones via the QR code on the tables. There is no way to easily browse the whole menu or see descriptions of what everything is, and it takes ages. I don’t want to use my phone when I go out to a restaurant or give my email address and phone number! I can appreciate that is solves any order discrepancies if the customer does it themselves but it would be much nicer if the staff take the order through a tablet and then show it to you before processing. Overall we would return but I would make sure I browsed the menu online first to stop it being so tedious in there!

Lovely food and beautifully presented. Ordered the butter garlic and chilli squid for started and was very tender and flavourful. The sushi boat for 2 is great value for money with lots of variety which also meant we were able to try things we’d never had before including eel and octopus which were both very meaty and tender. The cocktails are also great.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean, with a good looking bar and cherry blossoms near the window with calming music creating a comfortable environment while eating. The sushi is incredibly tasty and presented brilliantly, the ramen is very light and good also. The service was incredible, the food was fast and the waiter was very polite and well versed in the menu. The waiter asked if we're celebrating anything and upon hearing that we were after we had finished eating, without confronting anyone he brought complimentary pudding.

We loved it here! If you like a bit of spice, the Marfa chicken wings were spot on! We also had momos, chilli prawns and chilli and garlic noodles, delicious! The sushi boats look amazing and will be back to try those. Lovely, friendly staff too.

I been here last night with a friends , Was good not too busy on Friday evening, but I’m vegetarian and they sent me a fish stuff so I sent it back after a little bit I have the means ,10 min after my pudding 🍮 give me a time 😢 I work in the hospitality if you make a mistake three time try at the list to offer something so I can go home happy and not thinking just about I was eating fish

Good variety of food served by attentive staff. The sushi boat was great, curries delicious. But the Tom Yum soup was disappointing, lacking in flavour and heat.

We've been wanting to have the opportunity to try this place for a while, really glad we did . We visited on a quiet Monday evening, however the service received was excellent very polite and attentive. As for the food a surprisingly good variety of hot and cold dishes on offer. We had various dishes including Sushi, and Momo . Had a cheeky cocktail which was very nice. Have already recommended it to friends and will make a repeat visit soon.

I recently visited Sushi Moto and found the place itself to be quite pleasant. The ambiance is nice, and the staff is friendly. However, the ordering process left much to be desired. They asked us to scan a QR code to place our order, but after we went through the entire process, they informed us that the payment couldn't be accepted through the QR system. This was frustrating and caused unnecessary delays. As for the food, it was just okay. Nothing stood out as particularly delicious or exceptional. It was decent, but I've had better elsewhere. Overall, while the place has potential, they need to improve their ordering and payment process to make the dining experience smoother for their customers.

I came here with my friends, we really enjoyed the food , not only sushi menus were good , we were even surprised by the good taste nepali food. The food was great. When they made the sushi there was someone making it right there. You could even watch him make it. The man making the cocktail ( Sake Bliss ) said it was his own blend.

After my colleague has recommended this place, we have come to this place third time to treat ourselves. The waiters are always polite and clean, and the place is clean and cozy. The quality of dishes is nice, fresh and delicious. Every time I try to have their different dishes. I love their vegetable, sea food and chicken starters. For my main I always order the Nepalese dishes from their menu. Every time we end up ordering a lot of starters and sushi, so our bill goes up to around £65-£70. We don't mind paying for high quality food.

Great sushi spot in town. Loved the entire dining experience, from the fresh decor to the delicious food. Ordering was super easy through the table QR code, and the food came out quickly. Service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I'd definitely return if I happen to be in town again.

Nice and cosy place, I must say. I went there for a little gathering on the 1st floor. Great experience overall, only things is they didn't serve a draft beer even though they had it all set up at the bar!!

The service was the best part. They were so allowing, kind are respectful. There was no a moment where I didn't feel attended too. Will be eating here again. :)

Good quality and amazing value for money with friendly service. Tempura calamari was incredibly light and crispy, the boat for one was more than enough for two people and had a lovely selection of sushi rolls! We also ordered 2 plates of salmon sashimi which was amazing quality, very creamy and you are served a very generous amount considering the price. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Aldershot

What a lovely little place! The food was super tasty and fresh and ordering was fun. Service was fast and the staff were very friendly.

We were there at lunchtime and therefore had the restaurant to ourselves. Ordering via cell phone was very quick and preparation was also quick. The waiter was very accommodating and fulfilled our wishes to a high degree. As always, the sushi tasted great and was high quality with a good price-performance ratio.

After waiting a for an hour after ordering my food. I was informed the delivery driver had failed to arrive. The manager of the restaurant offered to deliver the food as I was already disappointed enough by this point. Very disappointed in the just eats service on this occasion. I was going to cancel the order until the manager offered to deliver the food himself. Chap was an absolute hero unlike your driver.

The delivery time kept getting pushed back. it ended up being delivered 2.5 hours after ordering and was cold by the time it arrived.
