Disgusting!!! Chicken dry and chewy. Salad horrible. Pilau rice had something that resembled a minute mushroom which I am sure should not be in there. Our family has used Surrey Tandoori for over 30 years, will never use this place again.

We’ve used Surrey tandoori for years wouldn’t go anywhere else but now they are charging for bags and service charge and delivery since they’ve changed hands won’t be using them any more.

As a family we have been using Surrey Tandoori for over 40 years! Always been very good. However recently things have changed for the worse. Food is ok but they are now charging for delivery, bags and service charge. We are now going else where. Shame. Billy

Very disappointed have been using for 25 years last 2 meals we have ordered have been poor quality and quantity definitely gone down only 4 tandoori prawns in a portion barely any chicken in the biriani and both last 2 orders contained wrong items even though I had repeated order will not sadly be going back

Very disappointed with my take away order on line for collection. Onion bhaji not with order Bombay potatoes waterey sauce no sauce with bhaji pela rice also very wet and food was luke warm would have took it back but having not eaten all day was very hungry Will be looking fir for a new takeaway such a shame the food has always been very good☹

Delivery driver came on time and food was still piping hot. Would definitely order a mixed biriyani again. Young girl on the phone was very helpful and kind and love ordering from here, as it’s so efficient. Thank you.😊

Yesterday I took my dinner from surrey tandori which was very tasty. I appreciate their sevice and quality. I hope that very soon they will touch top one for their service and quality .

Was always our go to however a change in ownership in late 2022 has us now looking for a new Indian take away for 2023. Last few orders have been lukewarm on arrival and taking forever. Was leaving £30-£60 here most weeks but the new ownership don't seem to be as good. New female staff answering the phone not appreciative or helpful so time to move on. Delivery was a laugh there was 2 people Smoking in the vehicle as they tried to find my address which was not a task as we order every week.

Ordered a take away last night. Food was lovely, no complaints! Only disappointment was the voicemail received from the delivery driver whom couldn’t find our address. Didn’t realise he tried to call, was called back and redirected to the address. Listened to voicemail left which said ‘Can you call me, I’m not driving around looking for you’. Shame!

Had to wait 45 mins for our takeaway, very disappointed with the food. The chicken korma i had was totally tasteless, had better from out of a jar. Wont be using them again ..

Firstly the service was excellent from the gentleman on the phone and again on collection. We also received 10% off due to collection. On our return home and serving the food we were all pleasantly surprised by how hot the food was. The smells and the large portion sizes also didn't disappoint. Wish I had taken photos as my review doesn't really do this once justice. Go on give them a try.

We thought we'd ordered from here before and had a nice meal but it wasn't here! And wish we could remember where it was, There are so many mediocre curry takeaways about and this is one of them. Flavourless food and stay away from the onion bhajis they are terrible. Portions are large but they really should concentrate on quality not quantity. Wouldn't recommend.

I used to use this place fairly frequently years ago and was always quite pleased with it. I had not used it for a while and on an impulse we ordered and collected 2 meals from here in late December 2017. One chicken dish and one lamb dish. I am sorry but the quality of the meat has reduced massively and was basically just fat and gristle, most of it not edible. The chicken tikka masala tasted very strongly of coconut and to be honest was more like a korma with some red sauce in it. Everything was hugely greasy. There is no way back for them now from my perspective - I have thrown away their take away menu and WILL NOT be using the place again. When you look at how much they charge for their food now, they really should be offering much better quality meals. There are other Inidian food options available nearby - suggest you use these and ignore this Bangladeshi excuse for and Indian curry shop!!!

After using Surrey tandoori since I was a child, unfortunately they have gone down hill and all of the food was very bland. My nieces cheese naan had no cheese in it- but had a hair on top instead! Won’t be using again.

My favorite little takeaway. Great fresh food, awesome taste. Some portions could be bigger. Dansak could have more chicken.

This cute & clean Take Away Tandoori, Restaurant , had matured over the years. It is easy to find along the 122 Frimley Rd, Camberley- GU15 2QN. This Tandoori Take Away had never Let us down over 20 years . One can be assured of Good Indian Food. Several & Similar Restaurants have come & gone along the Frimley Road Camberley. This is very good proof that the Excellent Quality of Food has kept a large numbers of Regulars ( Like Us) commingled back for more.

This is the best Indian Takeaway in Camberley have never been disappointed if you haven't tried it then you need to. Food is always excellent and staff are very friendly 5 stars all round.

Delivery was 20 minutes late on top of the 45 minutes. The food was satisfactory, I shall go to other curry houses. I would have liked to be informed how busy they were and the option to continue the order, rather then taking my money. No complimentary poppadoms.

We always get consistently good food and always quick delivery. Have tried a few local curry houses but this is one of the best takeaways around.

Average Indian takeaway that serves the local area well,the food is prepared in hidden kitchens which in todays new generation of takeaway places this needs to be updated in my opinion. I normally have Korma dishes which can be boring but it is pallatable but with this dish is is nothing wow! I tried the more hotter dishes and they do have more flavour because of the spices used. I use this place out of convenience rather than the the quality

I usually don't buy indian food due to one bad experience of having a curry with an immense amount of spice. However on this occasion i decided to try Surrey Tandoori as I was on a business trip in the area and see if I can also enjoy the brilliant taste of curry, which all my friends keep talking about. Upon arriving I was greeted by a very nice chap and explained all my requirements. After a good 15t minutes later i was brought my curry in a container. I decided to taste it on the spot rather taking it back to my hotel and be disappointed. I must say I was absolutely thrilled and thanked the guy for his service. If i am ever in the area again you can be sure I will visit them again. A kind thank you to the chef and the counter staff.

I have been using Surrey Tandoori for a number of years now. Its a takeaway only and its the only place I will go to for an Indian takeaway. It has won many awards -and quite rightly so ! The quality and taste of the food is excellent. The portion sizes are extremely good. Prices are very reasonable. The delivery service is also very good. And of course, the staff are very friendly. I would strongly recommend this place for an Indian takeaway.

Rang up with takeaway order. Picked it up 25 minutes later. Lovely prawn korma. We will be ordering again. Highly recommend.

Been to every take away in Camberley and this place can't be beaten. The service and quality of the food is 1st class. Prices are good compared to most of the others nearby.

There are a lot of Indian restaurants in the Camberley area and most are great to eat in but don't match up to that standard when you order takeaway.Not Surrey Tandoori.They are fantastic. They have a great range on the menu and allow you to choose the heat of your curry so if you fancy a tikka masala for the creaminess but still want a hot curry, you can have it. Just as a tip, their mild is very mild so you may want to ask for medium or hot on most things to bring them up to normal level.Everything we've ordered has been delicious and the real secret is that everything isn't swimming in oil like a lot of takeaways we've used. The delivery service is fantastic too. The politest and most professional man ever comes and drops the curry right to your door in good time.

Have been using this takeaway off on on for over ten years and have always been very happy with both food and service......... However....... Despite advertising opening times finishing at 23:00 it transpires that after 2240 home delivery is not an option. If you can't have it state it on promotional material!! Very disappointed.

We have been using this takeaway for over ten years now and have to say they are the most friendliest people! Our kids love going to pick up our food because the staff are always entertaining them! We have tried many places over the years, but our favourite has to be this place, the food is always delicious!!

As soon as we got our food we took it to the dinning room table and opened the lids of the foil containers you could immediately understand why there were so many finger prints of greasy fingers on the lids ! The food was swimming in oil and ghee , so we put the lids back on and threw it in the bin and instead had beans on toast !

I have eaten from this take-away many times over the past 10 or more years, and after living in a neighbouring town for a few years I recently moved closer to this place again so ordered some food and it reminded me of how excellent it is!The food is always fresh, hot and tasty. I would most definitely recommend this place and I have done in fact many times!The staff know their menu well too, if you're not too sure on what to have, its worth asking for a suggestion. I did this one year and asked for something spicy. This was when I found out they sell 'Pall' an insanely hot curry - whilst I did burn my entire tastebuds off, at the same time it had some excellent flavour and aromatic excellence. Another plus point for this place is an online PDF menu so you can always see what you want prior to leaving the office ;-)Overall; brilliant food from a family run business that I hope will thrive for years to come as I haven't found anywhere better!

I have been coming here for about 15 years and it is by far the best Indian food in the area! The owners and staff are extremely friendly, the food is of the highest quality and the prices are unbeatable! I would recommend this place to anyone over and over!

Tasty! I was recommended the Chicken Dupiaza, a dish Surrey Tandoori clearly does very well. They are only too happy to satisfy my requests of adjusting the heat strength of certain dishes to meet the fussy requirements of some of my friends! Rice, breads and sundries are all equally tasty, not at all greasy (a criticism I often have of others), delivered promptly and thoroughly enjoyed. They are proud of their 5 star hygiene rating too, as they should be, gives great confidence in the food. If you live in the area, well worth a meal!

I have been visiting this place for a couple years now after moving to Camberley. The food has always been of good quality and delicious. The service is friendly and the price of a meal is very reasonable. They also have multple hygience awards giving evidence of their professional service. My friends have always talked about how good this place is and I can fully support this.

Just as you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, the rather ordinary fascia of Surrey Tandoori hides a take away offering above average fayre. The food doesn't seem too greasy, a fault of other local takeaways, the meat seems fresh and well trimmed, and the spices and herbs are used sensitively and intelligently. While the menu is conventional, execution is very good ... This is safe Indian comfort food at its zenith.

Lots of food hygene awards and good service - Food is good - would like more authentic spices rather than Pataks sauces but onion Bhaji's are excellent and owner is very good and takes a lot of pride in his take away service.
