Busy. Good quality coffee, served by helpful and cheerful people. The toasted sandwich wasn't the best I have ever tasted.

I bought a coffee here at lunch time. I had a small chocolate bar to eat as well (which I did not purchase here) and a rude staff member approached me to tell me that I can not eat it. I have NEVER been to a coffee shop where you can not eat a simple chocolate bar, even having purchased their overpriced coffee. The coffee is also small, expensive and nowhere near as good as any others I've had. Not to mention, they did not give me a tray or a spoon with the coffee. Awful establishment. Do not come here, you will regret it. There are plenty of other options around Biggleswade, some of which are very very close to Surfin. Go there instead.

It was Very busy in the Surfin cafe. Ordered Americano with milk, was served a cup full of warm milk. Hardly any coffee in it. Coffee tasted terrible…Was Too busy to take back, also noticed server wiping the coffee machine with dirty cloth after each use. Expensive and tasteless coffee. Won’t drink there again.

Came here on Saturday afternoon for coffee and a vegetarian Panini while minding my toddler grandson as I couldn’t find a cafe that was big enough to comfortably accommodate the pram, the weather was mild so we sat outside, it was very busy which is always a good sign, the woman serving was very polite, helpful and friendly when I was asking her about vegetarian options, the young man carried my food outside for me as he could see I’d struggle with the buggy, coffee steaming hot and excellent, Panini hot well packed and delicious, I will definitely use again when I next visit Biggleswade

Called in for a coffee and cake with family. They use all local products and plant trees with some of their profits, really like their ethos. The coffee was good, not the best we have had but certainly better than most. I was disapointed with their Portugese custard tart as it is my favourate cake but it was not authentic and nowhere near as good as it should have been but the atmosphere in the cafe was lovely and would go again.

Nice setting but now the windows are large doors that open on fine days, allows the smokers cancerous smoke to come inside. Most off putting. Cakes were nice, lattes a bit frothy but okayish, milk shake nice but lacked the strawberry flavour etc.Compared to the likes of Neros, nice but no cigar.

We visit this cafe on an occasional basis and it never disappoints with its wide range of coffees (hot and cold) plus teas and infusions plus a good selection of both bought in and home made cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful. It can get busy but that just adds to the buzz about the place. It is just a shame that unlike its name there is no internet.

This is a vibrant café nicely situated right in the centre of town with seating indoors and lots outdoors, on the periphery of the market area, on what was a very warm and sunny Saturday morning when I called. There is a good choice of coffees and lovely cakes and this made a pleasant stop off and refuelling point when passing through on a cycle ride. The café was very busy with what appeared to be mainly local clientele suggesting it is popular.I would definitely visit again when passing.

...but it does have one very welcoming cafe. I was cycling through Biggleswade en route to Cambridge and stopped at the Surfin Cafe pretty much at random. A great array of cakes and nice coffee. But most of all it was just very welcoming and friendly. I hope this review repays you for your great service.

Decided to stop for a coffee before meeting friends on our first trip into Biggleswade. The day was beautiful and the cafe was appealing with large shaded canopy’s, inside the look was quite retro diner, many cakes and treats on display.I ordered the house filter coffee and an Apple Shortcake, both were very good quality (although the price was rather steep for what you got).I would recommend for visitors as it is well positioned for the town centre and the market stalls that are sometimes there around it.

Small but special - good place to have a coffee and watch the world go by . Lovely staff who will go out of their way to make you feel welcome . Lovely Wooden Hill Coffee and the cakes are always a treat. sandwiches and baguettes are available to have hot too. Plenty of room outside to sit and watch the world go by but limited inside - a bit tight for a buggy or two.

Это кафе находится на центральной площади Biggleswade. Отлично прийти в выходной день с утра. Занять столик на улице. Взять кофе и бутерброды и смотреть на просыпающийся городок.

Far too few tables inside, filled with lone persons on tables for four. They were mostly spread out with a drink and newspapers or laptops for a long period of time. We were forced to sit outside in the freezing cold amongst anti social smokers and badly behaved dog owners.

We live locally and often pop in here for a coffee (and a cake). The staff are friendly, one in Particular always goes out of his way (I think he part-owns the cafe). It’s nice to have an independent coffee shop in town

A very pleasant little cafe located in the old square in the centre of Biggleswade. They provided friendly efficient service with good coffee and cakes. There is a very nice, and well kept outside seating area ideally located for watching the world go by.

Sit outside, weather permitting, under the awnings or inside for a most enjoyable coffee or whatever beverage you prefer and watch the world go by (or people of Biggleswade). There are also light snacks available.

What a lovely gem of a pub. Very friendly pub in a lovely little Bedfordshire village! We were here today for a Sunday roast and after eating out at more expensive restaurants in the area and being disappointed by their high prices and average food, this was on another level, it was beautiful!! Everything was freshly cooked and home mad at a very reasonable price. Shall definitely be returning.😁

This place could be amazing but it is lacking atmosphere and the food is very ordinary. It needs a total overhaul. Everything feels dated and they need to look at other restaurants/brasseries in other area. It always seems half empty. Wouldn't go back again.

The staff were pleasant and the food was fine but oh so slow! From the time we arrived we were waiting at every stage. Waiting to be seated, there was no one in sight. Eventually we were shown to our seats and waited again for someone to take our order, waited again and, after being there over 30 minutes, our tea and coffee arrived, but no milk. The coffee was fine but the tea wasn’t hot, but drinkable as long as I drank it straight down. Another long wait for sandwiches and again a wait for cakes. I would have preferred everything to arrive at once so that I could decide how long to take to eat them. As it was we were there over 2 hours and I was bored. I would hate to be there if it was full as today less than half the tables were taken. Not the best experience of afternoon tea I’m afraid.

Stopped in for a tea, coffee and scone for the first time this weekend as we happened to drive past. It was all lovely and reasonably priced. However it is disappointing that a venue in such a prime countryside location doesn’t at least allow dogs inside somewhere. I imagine their foot traffic would increase substantially if dog walkers could come in for a post/pre walk refreshment.
