our favourite restaurant in London! We came here for our 4 year anniversary and the food and service we received was amazing. From start to finish the wonderful Yuma was a delight to be served by and even helped us cook on the BBQ which was great! Lovely person and amazing service. Can't wait to come back - won't be long!!!

Non sono un esperto di cucina coreana ma in generale la qualità del cibo è buono. Bellissima la location, molto moderna e circondata da vetrate. La cosa più bella è l'idea di scegliersi la carne e grigliarsela direttamente al proprio tavolo, con i propri tempi. L'ho trovato molto divertente. E in qualche modo non ci si impuzzolisce. Prezzoi nella media londinese. Personalmente lo consiglio.

First experience of a Korean restaurant, we we’re seated promptly, very good table service, excellent choice of flavoured dishes, chef attended the table to explain the how to, worth visit, will return.

It took awhile to get seated even though we arrived in plenty of time. Got looked at a couple of times and I was about to get a little assertive and then we finally were shown to our table! My friends were very excited as they've never been to a Korean BBQ before. The food was good - KFC could have been a bit more crunchy and the staff were friendly.

Visited after a day on the beers. We all fancied something different as we had come from all over the country and we settled on Superstar BBQ. We arrived at quite a busy time but was made to feel at home from the off. John was our server and whatever you are paying him isn't enough. He took care of us the whole evening, making sure that there was enough food for the 6 of us and that the food was cooked properly - having been on the beers all day, we would have eaten it raw and would have still lapped it up - and his experience with the menu and the options we had was incredible. We went for one of the group mixed meats options and we left far from hungry. John recommended us a series of flavoured rice wines to help end the evening on a high. I rated it 5* because it was faultless, John himself deserves 10* as he showed passion for the food, attentiveness for us as customes and we were made to feel like we were at home . I can guarantee that next time we go to London. We will be visiting again. John is the Superstar in Superstar BBQ. P.s - the bibs were an excellent souvenir.

Having visited Superstar BBQ a few times with large groups of friends, it is always a pleasure eating here. One of the only Korean restaurants in London which can cater for large groups (30+) - just email them in advance and they will arrange a set menu. The food has improved during the past year and is now beautiful - the bibimbap and rice bowls are particularly delicious and the service is always prompt and friendly.

To start with, this was our first visit and our waitress Melissa couldn’t have been more helpful explaining the various dishes and options. The food came at the perfect speed and was absolutely delicious!! The bbq option was definitely a great experience and the fried chicken side dishes were a big hit! Exceptional service from the team who made our visit so enjoyable!!! *****

I highly recommend Superstar bbq, the food was amazing, the personel and service was exceptional. We've never been to a korean bbq before and the staff came and recommended how we should and what we should eat to get the best food experience! The kids also enjoyed the food! Great atmosphere. We will come back when visiting London again!

Food was absolutely amazing. Had high expectations since I’ve been to Korea so wanted to compare and was not disappointed. Shout out to bindy she was lovely and took care of us well.

We came right after AnimeCon, we have booked in advance as we've visited previously and know how busy the restaurant gets. Today our visit was by far the best, the food was as good as always... however, the service provided by Melissa was outstanding. A great outgoing waitress who was able to help some of our friends who haven't eaten at Superstar before and didn't know exactly what to have. 10/10 we will definitely come again!

We went out for the day and decided to have dinner at Super Star BBQ. Me and my partner have been there before, but it was our friends’ first time. Everyone at the table loved the food and the service. Thank you to Melissa for looking after us, and for recommending things when needed. Today my friend and I took our good friend to his first ever KBBQ and we haven’t had such a great time in a while. The food, drinks and people were brilliant. Had such a fun time and definitely plan to go again at some point, whether it be for more food or the private karaoke room. One of the best points were the friendly staff who were working today including, Melissa, John, Soner and Jack who all made a point to talk to us and try to enhance our experience whether it be recommending us different options, putting on a show or even talking to us about some of our interests like gaming and tv shows. Honestly one of the best dining experiences in a while and I would definitely recommend it to others who would like to try out or introduce others to KBBQ.

Came here with a friend, after we had passed a couple times, we were served by Melissa and John who took care of us and did an amazing job (Melissa has great persuasion skills and a great sales woman) will definitely be coming back again.

A fun experience but that is, I think, ultimately what you pay for. The food is quite nice and the set up is cool, but I felt it was a bit pricey (x5 small slices of chicken between two of us was a bit stingy, for example) and the service charge was somewhat insulting considering we had to cook our own dinner. It came to c. £40pp and we didn’t even have any alcohol. The staff were hit and miss - the chap who saw us to our table was a bit abrupt until he realised we had a reservation. The serving staff were better, however. All in all, not a bad meal and I’d probably go back, but unlikely on my own recommendation.

Booked a table here as we wanted to try Korean BBQ. I was a little apprehensive after booking as I read a load of reviews slating the plus others raving so didnt know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and didnt leave disappointed at all! We did the Set 1 menu, plenty for 2 people. The Korean dumplings were delicious and we enjoyed our noodles. Staff were super helpful setting up the BBQ and giving us hints and tips to cook it all effectively. The meats were lovely too, our only feedback would be some more flavourings to some of them. The table was a bit sticky, but not dreadfully so, definitely been worse and tables that are used in this way surely are always going to be a little bit so? All in all, a lovely meal. Really enjoyed. Already recommended to friends to try! :)

The Korean Fried Chicken is brilliant so much so that we went back for seconds. The main course of belly pork was marred by the toughness of the meat even though you cook this on the grill set in the table. Authentic flavours and good portion sizes. Reasonably priced also.

This was our first time at a Korean BBQ. Me and my family went to this restaurant for my sons 15th birthday. Staff were very helpful and explained how the food should be eaten and cooked. This was the first time I tried Korean BBQ. The food is here is pretty good. I ordered the Belly Pork with a side of rice. Don't expect to get a large portion of meat at this place. I'd personally get two meat orders for myself if I went back. You should probably block out an hour and a half to two hours and go with friends. Take time to cook your meat and order more if you're still hungry. I also tried the Blackout Soju, which is just six different types of Korean soju. Not a bad way to get acquainted with the Korean liquor.

My girlfriend and I ate here a couple of nights ago for dinner. I'd suggest booking, it does get busy. The concept is that you can grill/cook your own meat/veg on a little electronic grill in the middle of the table. We chose to not go for the grill items, but order off the menu - we were starving and wanted our food to eat straight away, however I'd give the grill a go next time. We waited around 10 minutes before somebody came over and took our order. We ordered our food and it came out at odd times - I understand the whole "it comes out when it's ready", but my noodles came out about 3 minutes after ordering, my girlfriends Bibimbap came out about 5 minutes later, then a few minutes later her kimchi and tofu came out and finally my Korean Fried Chicken came out around 20 minutes after my noodles, so a bit hodgepodge. Once the food came out, no one checked on our meals and we had to grab somebody to ask for the bill. The food is really tasty here and when the servers are with you, they are helpful. But the service is slow and the food comes out erratically - a little fine tuning would make this place really great.

I came here with my friend and we have never tried Korean food before. It was a good first experience. One improvement I do suggest is having images on the menu to show customers what they are buying. The side meals were slightly over-priced for their portion side however the main meal was a decent price and the portion was good. I ordered the rice plate: deep fried chicken, and it was good. I also got the spicy rice cake and veg dumpling they were nice too (but like I said earlier over priced for what they are). To conclude, nice meal and friendly staff too!

Decent flavour, a fun change from the usual experience but not a restaurant we will be going back to any time soon. The Bimimbap was a bowl full of flavour and the Kimchi had a good bite. The veggie grill left a lot to be desired.

All the dishes are tasty, but the cleanliness of the tableware needs to be improved, and the baking pan seems to be a bit sticky. Had a very nice meal here celebrating an anniversary. Booked ahead so got to jump most of the queue which was wrapped around the restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant and the area where I was seated appears to be well cleaned.

Just had lunch with my daughter to be very frank food was very poor. I had chicken katsu it was so dry and overcooked hard to see chicken. Sweet chilli sauce tasted like ketchup. My daughter had beef looked like cheap Chinese takeaway. Rough cut peppers and onions tasted slightly sour. Served with as was my chicken a salad. Iceberg lettuce cucumber and tomato so strange. To make things worse it was so cold in there later told they have no heating. Really really disappointed.

Típico BBQ koreano, está sempre cheio (reserve ou enfrente a fila, que anda rápido). O grande movimento aqui é de fato sinônimo de boa e farta comida, apesar do preço um pouco alto. Ambiente bonito e muito relaxado, atendimento cordial e ágil.

Surprised by the reviews for here, we had great ramen and lovely selection of starters that only cost £1. Great value and really good food. Order the spicy ramen!

I took my boyfriend here for our anniversary after seeing the figure review. I should’ve looked more interestingly the comments! The photos make this place look amazing but it’s very much an illusion, sticky floors, dirty seats, shabby furniture, cold inside, filthy toilets and pretty sub-average food, poorly printed menus. Poor boyfriend made the best of it whilst I sat there wanting to cry. We’re used to places like roka and the photo framing of this place made it look like it could be a good rival for a potential anniversary treat. The food was nothing more than I could’ve cooked up at home,came to £59 and tasted pretty underwhelming. Our anniversary which had been great up until this point now has such a dampener on it. Absolute waste of money! So angry!

We enjoyed our dinner here a lot. Food was tasty, we ordered the set menu, and two were more than enough for three hungry people. It is a fun experience as you grill the meat and the vegetables yourself. We have already tried other Korean barbecues in Asia and I can’t honestly say this is one of the best ever, however should I feel like having some Korean food and be close to Tottenham court road I would come go back here again.

Interesting experience here at Superstar BBQ, firstly I love the Korean BBQ concept and am also a rather big fan of Kimchi, Bolgogi and other Korean flavours. Superstar however could do with some improvement, the quality of meat was far from standout, the service mediocre and signature dishes lacking wow factor. That being said look forward to returning in the future, room for improvement but definite potential here

Stopped by for Sunday lunch. The set menu was simple but very tasty and reasonable at 25.00 for 2 including drinks. The staff were friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit.

I enjoyed a fabulous lunch there with friends today. We ordered from the set menu for the BBQ which included a good selection of meats and veg. The beef bulgogi and lamb were very tasty and tender and I would recommend getting an extra portion of tiger prawns too. We also ordered some side dishes of Kimchi and chilli squid which were very tasty too. Included in the set lunch were rice and Miso soup so it was very filling! Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again.

I do like it here and come fairly often, every other month maybe, as the food is pretty good and at a reasonable price too, for a fairly decent size of food. It’s very filling.

I dropped in with my partner for lunch and we were looking forward to some authentic Korean Bibimbap and fried chickens and Kimchi. I was very disappointed with the beef Bibimbap which had the wrong kind of vegetables on it for a Bibimbap and wrong sauce.

The food is very good even if the portions are smaller than what I would have liked, but I guess it's worth it when I take into consideration how tasty the food was. Personally I really liked the Korean fried chicken and the meat quality was higher than I expected it to be.
