Never buy from these people as they have no human dignity and as for the meals well I ordered 8 meals and only 1 was what I ordered and when I went back they shouted and swore at me and my kids very in professional stay well clear

Went in looked at the menu then went next door to look at the Chinese menu went back in and the old man with specks told me too go next door for food because I went into the Chinese shop to look at there menu AVOID THIS SHOP DIRTY PEOPLE would recommend best kabab and Bengal spice

Ordered a carryout earlier today, the menu states chicken stripes 4 kids ( not chicken dippers @ £6 for 4 and chips) doesn't look like that on the menu! The chips with the main meal was hot, the kids were rock solid and cold. Shame on u and when I foned to complain they told me to come and collect 1 free portion of chips for over £30 an order. Ignorance at its best 👌 good luck 👍

Sad to see this once great take out slowly scrimping on meat, salad and sauce pots. The prices are going up and the portions are shrinking. Tonight the Haryali chicken was like tasteless baby food with very little chicken or veg in it. No salad at all with our two portions of pakoras, and only mint sauce, no pakora sauce. We are not likely to back in a hurry, such a shame... perhaps get a set menu going like up the road...

Usually amazing but we sat outside for 45 mins waiting for the folk to come out with food (covid) and finally got sick of waiting went to door for owner to blame us and say we weren't outside even though we made eye contact with staff behind counter

Very good, they take the time and quality to make good food. The menu is quite extensive and the staff know exactly how to cook a delicious dish. There is a range to choose from such as spicy curry, korma, multiple versions of fried rice and a whole host of starters. I personally love the chicken fried rice and the chicken pakura. The pizzas are nice and the meal box is filled with goodies. The staff are extremely friendly and the prices are worth the quality of food you get, I can guarantee you will not leave disappointed.

So dissapoimted got oizza from here and even a £1 pizza from asda has a better base it was thick and cheap and dry not happy waste of money and chips were cold and hard

Food has been ok when I’ve been. Not the best quality. Would definitely recommend Bengal spice as food and service is so much better. Also would recommended Bengal spice if you want to go for a lovely quite meal

The King Prawn Rougon is the best food I have ever tasted!!! The service is wonderful, the quality into making the foods is just mind blowing and the staff is really quick and friendly! Highly recommend going to this takeaway!

Excellent great food and service

Indian food is always spicy and full of flavour but Sunset are very skilled at getting the combination of heat and taste. It is tempting to get a chicken dish but we always try to have some of their vegetarian curries and we are never disappointed. Service is prompt and friendly.

By far the best Indian takeaway in the area. Gurkha chicken is my favourite 😋

Got a mushroom pathia curry and was excellent. Taste even better next day, back on form well done.

I got scammed 3.55 for nan bread and i didn.t get it and they refused to give me a refund

Had a kebab in from here last night (I was sober) and it was right at closing time so didn't really expect a lot. Food was lovely and fresh so no complaints from me. Place is very clean and service is amazing. My fiance use to always go here and hadn't been for 10 years and they still remembered her order, amazing service. Place is right on Mid Street so very hand for you coming out of the pubs and grabbing something on the way home.

Love the food but the lack of delivery and online ordering is a downfall. There have been many occasions when we have ordered from best kebab instead for hassle free delivery

Best Indian food in the north east

They do the best kababs and the bread with it is perfect. Only problem now is everywhere else is now terrible.

I've not got one complaint about sunset, food is always brilliant and staff are lovely :)
