Foods good but the owner is rude

Chips were soggy and luke warm, sausages were of not a good quality. Overall bad experience.

Both the fish and chips were soggy also if you want chips with your fish this isn't the place to go. Attached photo is meant to be a medium fish a chips. Cheapest part of the meal as well. If your looking for a proper fish and chip shop look elsewhere.

One of the best chippies I've been too.

This was the worst cod and chips I've had from a take away for a very long time. Very little fish inside a mountain of batter accompanied by approximately twenty chips. I will be going elsewhere in future.

Used to be good now overpriced ridiculously small portions. When asked about the small portions just rudely stared back. Won't be coming back.

A fish and chips place that does not have salt packets, vinegar packets or tarter sauce. So expect just plain fish and plain chips, no flavor. Will not order from there again.

Firstly contactless you have to spend over a £5 to use card. This stopped years ago and should be able to any amount on a card especially if it just for one person. I wouldn't bother with the sausage better of getting a frozen bag for your money,

Queued 20 minutes - paid £23.80 and got back home to realise half my order was missing. Ended up giving the kids tea and went out to get an Indian takeaway for the rest of the family. If you do go here, check your order before you leave the shop!

Was a visitor to the area looked at reviews so gave it a go.....was not dissapointed. Sat on the bench down the road and enjoyed.

Got their £6.50 lunch deal, not expecting much - but it turned out to be a bargin deal. Both fish and chips has a good portion, and the fish taste fresh! Will definitely visit again! :)

Great fish and chips, no skin on Cod either, perfect. By far the best locally 👌👍 Update 2022, the last two visits the fish has been very thin and nothing like the meaty flakes there were before, a real shame.

Haddock & Chips, gherkin and pickled egg. Traditional Friday night supper. Superbly done. Strict adherence to social distancing and hand sanitisation demonstrated by the staff.

This is an absolute gem of a chip shop. Fish was magnificent. Beautifully cooked. Generous portions. Ordered Fish and Chips last night for my family and they loved it. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

The potato chips are nice. The large cod I ordered was quite a thin fillet with a thickish quite oily batter. I have had better.

Food is absolutely Georgous out of this establishment. I visit chalfont st peter a few times a year and I always insist that I have a meal from here.

We've been buying fish and chips here for nearly 30 years and always found the quality of ingredients, cooking and portions sizes to be good. They have set the benchmark for us that we compare other fish and chips to.

Well this evening, i wanted to order a simple chips and gravy but unfortunately this chippy cant deal with the simple orders, this is because they have decided to not get any gravy in to serve their customers!!!! this therefore meant i couldnt have what i wanted!!!! i was ashamed, and would not recommend this for anyone else!!!!
