The waiting area has a strange damp smell, like decay, put off ordering food

King prawn curry , 6 prawns ! 2 onions very salty , partners food far to salty

Rip off overpriced was going to order Cantonese Chicken Special Rice pancake roll £20 told them to forget it Couple weeks ago had a Chinese with 2 friends at their place near Durham their local Chinese charged £20 for 3 of us larger portions Pancake roles bigger than Catterick Village shop I could get more at half the price going to a Chinese Buffet

Thought we’d try this, lovely food but they forgot my meal so all I had was rice. Live too far to have gone back unfortunately, so paid for a full meal and only received half. Won’t be returning because of this sadly, a shame because good food.

Too long wait but we'll worth it , perhaps in New Yr if delivery times could be shortened and pick up quicker then 5 stars all round.

My spring rolls were burnt, chicken wings were dry plus ordered vegetables stir fry and you could have counted the 🫛 and veg in it

Lovely food, I was never yet disappointed, my in laws had some dishes which where not always perfect but overall food always is delicious and worth buying as prices are reasonable

I've never once had a bad meal from this place and I genuinely believe that I never will. The staff are always pleasant and welcoming. The food is always delicious. If you're not getting your takeaway from this place your missing out!

First time ordered Chinese here and i’m sorry it’s gonna be my last .Order salt and pepper ribs ,chicken chow mein ,boil rice and curry sauce ,everything was good apart from salt and pepper ribs ,it’s meant to be salt and pepper ribs ,not fish and chips with lots of flour ,the ribs and covered with fried corn flour and no meat at all outside the ribs

Awful, avoid avoid avoid, the fried rice has no flavour and stodgy, noodles are soggy and greasy, the satay chicken was vile, and chicken curry was flavourless, overall I would have given no stars but u have to pick at least one. £55 down the drain, will carry on traveling to bishop auckland panda panda, for better quality and generous potions, thats well worth the 40 min drive.

Excellent service, quality and value food. Have used on numerous occasions and will be back for more.

Usually very good, wasn't impressed with last night's order (15/06/22) can only think chef or owner ship altered. Think give them a miss now, drove 7 miles to collect order as I usually do, certainly not worth it this time.

Don't order too much, fantastic value, great tasty dishes with complimentary prawn crackers, ate well for 3 days 🍜👌👏

Just had a fantastic Chinese, go all the time, sometimes there is a wait but unfortunately when the food is so nice just expect that. It’s worth it!

Terrible service,massivly behind on their orders yet still taking orders! Waiting area absolutely rammed with people despite covid! Waited over 40 minutes past the time they said with my young children and elderly grandmother and all at home waiting for food. And was expected to wait another 20+ minutes. Ended up asking for my money back. Ruined Christmas eve.

Last time I ordered the delivery was nearly 2 hours and cold, they should stop taking orders once they build up, id rather them say sorry too busy than waste my money on cold horrible food,, havnt given it another chance since last order

Ordered our chinese from sunrise tonight as reviews looked good and didnt disappoint. Very tasty food. Lots of it. Happy to deliver to our holiday lodge at kilpin. On time and piping hot. Near in mind that its cash only. I didnt have enough cash but very helpful in giving details to do a cash transfer.

Always a fab Chinese. Tried to order Saturday but couldn't get through our own fault was gone 7 b4 we decided we wanted it. So called up Sunday got straight through and ready with in 20 mins

Nice food. Shame they rarely answer the phone..if you cant keep up with demand and are having to ignore customers, why not get more staff. Ridiculous.

Not great, tasteless and only just to say cooked. Best off heading into Richmond in search of something better.

Have been getting takeaways from here for years and have never had a bad meal. The portions are more than generous and if you like your curry a bit on the mild side, as I do, they are only too happy to oblige. They do not take cards though so make sure you have cash in you.

Googled this takeaway as was staying nearby at Brompton Lakes and didn't know the area. Food was really nice, was delivered quicker than expected (to the lakes) and was hot. Lady who took our order on the telephone was very helpful.

Ok food. Poor reception. Meagre customer service. Two and a half stars really but I'll go for the upper limit else it would have been two stars. A good Chinese takeaway should have three things fundamentally - good Chinese delicacies, good customer service (as is with Chinese custom) and a welcoming environment. Just my 2p but still my 2p. Would recommend for grabbing a meal if you're staaaaarving but if you want a good Chinese takeaway experience this may come bottom of the options.

Ordered food tonight, new it was busy and would be 2 hour deliver,,, but the food was cold and dry, clearly left in shop as poor delivery driver was doing his best,,, if its busy it's allways cold food, it shouldn't change if u wait half hour or two, very poor tonight waste ov £12 sadly,!! not usually dissatisfied, but maybe when it's busy and can't cope don't take more orders bad enough waiting but too come inedible a shame

Really lovely food and prepared really quickly as well. The take orders over the phone for collection which made my life much easier. We had family visiting and they were really impressed with the food as well. Pricing is really reasonable and staff seemed friendly enough

Tried to order by phone and the phone was engaged for 40 minutes, had to walk in and there was nobody there, they'd left the damn phone off the hook. Disgraceful business!

Got crispy beef chips and rice it wasn’t crispy beef it was just slithers of batter no beef the chips were so greasy we only had half of it then it went straight it the bin we’ve both been up and down to the toilet after we’ve had that food we’ll never be going there AGAIN EVER disgusting

Really friendly staff, really tasty food. Great portion sizes too. I was told, Sunrise have the best reputation. I haven't compared and I don't think I need to.

salt and chilli chips, just chips crispy shredded beef, not crispy chicken balls, chicken nuggets extra batter took 1 hour 30 minutes sweet and sour source spilt in bag over prices £46 for 3 people

Since new management has taken over the food is very good .

Spent £25 for 4 of us and most has gone in the bin. Chicken only just cooked and really slimy, chow mein had very little sauce so really dry and rice was hard. Will never buy from here again

Excellent food, excellent portion size with friendly staff.

Quantity over quality. Large portions of food that's just about ok, but quite a lot of what we ordered ended up in the bin. Prawn crackers oily and stale, chicken ball way too salty. Won't be rushing back even though I think it could have been better if I had more knowledge of menu/portion size ( first time visit).

Very tasty. I drive an extra 15 mins to go here over my local.
