Food here always amazing and tastes so good! Staff are very welcoming and friendly, portions decent sizes.. highly recommend love this place ! Always satisfied after a good Carribbean sunrise!

Never going here again, dumplings not cooked proper and tasteless, not enough curry sauce on the curry chicken, rice completely dry, two items missing from the order, nothing like the sunrise in lower broughton

A nice wee takeaway in Bolton. Very clean, really good food with authentic flavours. Staff are friendly and service was very quick even when busy.

Marked so low as I turned up at 7.24 and the shutters were down!!!! Completely closed they are supposed to close at 8pm this is bad business. Even if you've only have a few things left your standards of customer awareness should never be affected... We go to Chinese,Asian and Thai takeaways all the time and we've never had this problem ...It's a shame!! Anyhooo we found another Carribbean Kbs in Bolton they were still open and busy at 7.46 !!!!

For years ive travelled to Manchesters local spots for an authentic taste of Caribbean food. Sunrise in Bolton brought all the flavours here and didn’t miss. I’ll be making my way through that menu in no time.

I had the mutton curry. Good taste but extremely salty or they are using MSG? I had to drink so much water all afternoon after eating this for lunch

The BEST Caribbean food in Bolton. The Curried Mutton is absolutely fantastic as is the fried chicken. Wouldn't go anywhere else. There is even a small breakfast type bar if you'd like to eat in.

Wow this was an amazing last-minute decision for my dinner really enjoyed it will definitely be back again. I left it up to the staff to recommend what I had and it was absolutely amazing Portland BBQ Chicken & Jerk Wings

Customer service poor . Had to wait 35mins for my order only to be told there's no oxtail left. If you planning to make a order for collection think twice cause they might just tell you theres none left after travelling.

Good and tasty chicken the rice was really good would definitely try again! I would recommend it to people I had it delivered but next time I will go in 💯

Most of the food was really lovely, the chicken in the brown stew was very dry sorry.

I came past today as I was working close by. I had some nice stew chicken lunch. Portion was good and was very tasty food. Some of the best I've had. I will most probably come again next week when I'm back! Thanks Mike

Went in today. Waited 45min for a small portion of oxtail with rice and peas. Dont really want to complain but you need more than one worker. Today i got served and the guy behind me got his food before me and i felt violated considering i have been waiting 40mins when there was only three servings ahead of me.

We've ordered a lot from KB's in the past but around a month ago my partner turned 40 and I asked him to cater for 30 people - he did not disappoint. Everything was hot, cooked to perfection and boxed up nicely. The portions were great so we even had some leftovers to take home. We heard such good comments from people at the party too, some asking where we got it from. I can't recommend him enough 🙏🏼

To be honest I thought everything was ok but it was all about a nice treat for the GF and she loved the experience so job done really .

I shouldn't be submitting a good review as it means I've less chance of getting my order as there's more customers 🙃. Was disappointed the other day as they had sold out of curried goat. Bonus was I got to try the Oxtail which on a previous visit, I wanted and they'd sold out....... Delicious 😋 Excellent food, very pleasant staff. But...... don't go too late... they sell out of items.... for obvious reasons.

Stupendously mediocre. Stopped in at 9.30 to grab a quick meal enroute home. Considering the location, price and the time; it was appreciated. However in comparison to the calibre of of authentic Caribbean food available locally, I really couldn’t rate it more than a 5/10. Steamed veg smelt well old. However the jerk wings were tasty, well seasoned and delicious. Overall I wouldn’t head back but I’m grateful as I arrived close to closing.

It's nice food but the differential between large and small portions is nothing at all maybe a extra spoonful, The only fresh thing they make here is the sauce which is giving you the flavour without the sauce you're paying £8 for basically dry rice and average chicken no doubt bought frozen, There's no secret recipe it's the same food you can cook at home for no more than £3, Staff are nice, kitchen looks clean, Here's your first totally non bias review guys.

Went here tonight with my partner and daughter, the chicken was tender, dumplings we’re cooked to perfection everything was spot on with nice size portions and reasonably priced, customer service was really good too! We Will definitely come back again! :)

I'm a caribbean food newbie but saw this place so fancied giving it a try! The staff inside were so helpful (particularly the younger guy!) and they helped me choose a first dish (mutton curry with rice and peas with a dumpling) and chatted to me about what sunrise offers! Sunrise itself has converted me! The food I had was some of the best I've ever tasted and the mutton was super soft! The blend of flavours was amazing and I can't belive the food was so cheap for what i had! I will be returning this week again for another meal and will be recommending!!

One of the best Jamaican food places I’ve been. Uncle makes your experience that extra bit authentic. The food was bang on and huge portions. We really enjoyed it and will be back soon. Nice one UNCZ

Chicken wings where on point I got there a bit late though so didn't have much left which is a good sign as you know it's cooked fresh that day, the curry goat I got was mainly bones, but must have just been what ever was left in the pan it tasted nice enough though and would have given it 5 stars if wasn't for that as I've eaten at their Salford takeaway before now and that's always been a good experience, but nice to have a decent Carribbean on the doorstep
