Ladies serving were friendly polite and fast, food didn’t take long at all, food was lovely fresh, tasted lovely to, top place

Popped in for a chippy tea after a busy day. Been using this place for over 20 years. Very consistent and excellent value for money. Fish and chips and a nice bit of Cumberland sausage with chips....Great as always.

Being somewhat of a western Chinese food enthusiast, I have sampled the delights of many different takeaways. Sunny’s is a delight. The curry is by far the best in town. It’s the right consistency, the perfect blend of spice (but not blow your head off spice). They also have a great Chinese bbq sauce that makes every dish better. Fully recommend.

Ordered curried fish and chips for myself and the family had a mixture of the menu all great food the fish was like a whale and really fresh and the rest of the families food was also very fresh and service was brilliant the order was ready when we went to collect

The fish and chips here are delicious! Batter is mouth watering and the chips are lovely. Have only tried chicken fried rice and the curry sauce as Chinese and whilst tasty, nothing special. Fish fillets are nice too- lots of batter!

Best Chinese food in carlisle in my eyes any way always very good the special curry n noodles is a huge plate full. Do very good chips

I can't speak for the Chinese menu, as I've not tried it, but the chips, quite frankly, are awful. I've not been for a long time but recently tried them again. Still awful. They are greasy and stick together in clumps (and to the paper) by the time you get them home. Avoid at all costs.

This is a good standard Chinese Take Away. The portions are a good size. Crispy chilli beef is a winner. Spring rolls are nice. Prawn crackers were not greasy which was nice.
