Terrible service! I've never had such slow service in my life. The staff was rude ( not smile,not saying thank u) and disorganized. We had to wait for ages to get our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and poorly cooked. I won't be coming back.

If you are not Bulgarian man with a lot of tattoos and fake t-shirt Louis Vuitton don’t bother to visit the place. The waitress won’t acknowledge you and you can wait for your order for hours. They are very busy talking to “attractive” men. Regardless how big is you bill. The food is great and very tasty.

Crowded, busy and loud. With good reason, though. Locals hang here for some of the best eats in the neighborhood. Wish we had tried this place earlier in our Tottenham stay. Huge portions of incredibly seasoned food. I didn't know I liked Bulgarian, but in fact I love it after trying this place! The menu is HUGE so you could eat here ten times and still discover something new.

Not the first time when I come at 9:45-10:00 AM and I get the staff to tell me "it's Closed". If you don't open at the appointed time shows by Google please change your schedule because some people are coming from 20 miles away just for you. Do t waste it.

Nothing to write home about. It has some ok Bulgarian food, depending on what you ask for. The grilled meats were good, the chicken hearts were ok, but the pizza and salad, not so great. Service was good, but atmosphere was lacking.

Прекарахме страхотно.Не съжалявам, че пътувахме близо 2 часа, за да хапнем традиционна българска кухня. До скоро виждане Sunny Beach.🍽🥂

The food was very tasty great job to the chefs However, the service is terrible, the waitresses are so rude they talk to you like you are nothing . So disrespectful no matter if you are nice to them they’ll treat u like an animal! Very ugly behaviour!

We went because we noticed this place is always packed on weekends, there was some funky music and the smells coming out were amazing. It’s in Turnpike Lane which isn’t the most appealing place on earth but we live local so also know it’s full of hidden gems. It started badly as we noticed the number of people in the outside area chain smoking so moved inside but still there was the lingering smell of smoke, but we decided to stick it out. Inside it was a bit like an Eastern European techno vibe mixed with Bulgarian rustic and very glamorous waitresses, so I kept my eyes to the ground as I knew my wife was keeping one eye on me to make sure I wasn’t checking them out. But anyways the service was quick and professional and we noticed that the prices were very reasonable. We chose a mixed grill for 2 which came with salad and 2 Garlic bread, some grilled veg and sparkling water and juice it came to around 60 pounds with service included. Tbh it would have fed 4 people so we over ordered. The food was EXCELLENT grilled, marinated meat and veg on a bed of chips. Soft pillowy garlic bread, fresh salad with heaps of feta. I am kind of surprised that Bulgarian grill isn’t more of a thing tbh based on this. This would get 10/10 just for food and service but knocked it down to 7 or 8 because of the smoking. I am not sure if it’s fair or not to the restaurant as it was in the outdoors area and out of their control but I haven’t seen patrons smoking like they since the 90s.

The branch in Turnpikeline is just awful!!! I’ve never seen rude people like that and never have been treated like that in any restaurant in this country. Maria you should ask for off day if you are not on mood. (Better than lose clients) actually all team was extraordinary rude and nobody try to help for very simple problem. Everywhere we are allowe to cancel the item that didn’t come to the table but here they are FORCING!! you to pay in the rudest way for something that you didn’t consume

We ordered soup and a portion of kebabs. The kebabs were served, but the soup was still not there and BEFORE IT WAS SERVED, I asked them to remove it from the bill because it no longer made sense, and this rude waitress Maria told me that I have to pay!! because it was already in the system. Bullshitt!!! How come that can't cancell so mething which I didn't consume ? The way she behaved was disgusting. I have never seen such rude and indecent treatment of customers like that. She didn't even try to explain nicely and just turn her back and didn't even answer us when we tried to speak. We asked for the Manager and he did not come. No body in this place care about guest satisfaction. If they put twice something in the system or do any mistake would it be impossible to cancel, or remove wrong item?? To force people for payment of something that they didn't eat and to show them such a rude attitude and to blame them to be rude is unacceptable!! I wish I can give 0 points. One is too much for Maria and her mate.

Always went past this place and after 7 years finally decided to have it a try the food wasent terrible however I had higher expectations in regards to taste, flavour and generally overall experience. If you wanna eat somewhere a good Kebab go to Capital in Edmonton!

Отвратителна, гадна храна.Дадоха ми студена агнешка супа в която имаше само черен дроб и чорба.Да не казвам ,че тая супа се прави с бял дроб.Плескавицата беше много солена и добавена шунка всякакви измислици.Картофите сурови и пържени в старо олио.Цялата им скара и не само е от замразено и полуфабрикати.Аже излагат се пред чужденците.

We had kebapche and shopska salad. The foods were so delicious. Really recommend.

We found the food to be of very high quality, and pretty authentic. A Bulgarian ‘Sash’ for 2 is excellent, and comes with very nice garlic bread. Prices are very reasonable and we found the staff friendly and attentive. We didn’t have much room for dessert but biscuit cake is a must try for any trip to Bulgaria!

A place that serves great bulgarian dishes and atmosphere is always good, just like home but in London.

I am Bulgarian and i love and seek everything Bulgarian in London, however this place food is not great and i always have stomachache afterwards. The blonde waitress is passive-aggressive and overall everyone is rude except the male waiter that has been working there for years! Im sorry but i have to be honest the prices are not high at all for London’s standard

🌟Храната в Слънчев бряг беше уникална: Овчарската салата е страхотна с наистина качествени зеленчуци! Пилешките хапки (без корнфлейкс) бяха просто уникални, меки с чесновия сос! Пилешките сърца бяха много вкусни също така! Вичко беше уникално от горе изброените!🌟

Bad kitchen, was cold,the the door was open-5°t outside

I used to visit this restaurant occasionally with friends and family. Unfortunately, the past two times I was there the experience was horrible. The staff is extremely rude, no manners whatsoever. The food is OK but definitely not worth it knowing how you get treated by staff. Waitresses don’t seem to care about female customers as they only greet and chat with male customers. I won’t step foot in there again and I definitely recommend you do the same!!!

Храната може да е добра но само като ти дойде една от сервитьорките им със надменното си и пренебрежително отношение и апетита ти заминава на кино...Просто си личи че са диви селянки който си мислят че притежават това заведение а не че просто го обслужват......Време е собственика на заведението да по мисли за цялостна подмяна на сервиращият персонал защото ще изгуби доста стара клиентела а да не говорим за нова.... Ако и вие не искате да си тръгнете със такова ужасно преживяване никога не стъпвайте там!!!!!!

Моля собственика да отговори При въпроса ми към сервитьорите ми беше казано че навсякъде алкохола е скъп.... За ваша информация в локалните турски/гръцки ресторанти бутилка Jack Daniels 700мл е 46 паунда How the hell 400 г българска ракия е 52 паунда??? Явно ресторанта работи за пиянски групи на които не им пука колко е сметката и не за семейство от 3ма с 4 ракии ,2салати ,кашкавал пане, джин и тоник (малък) и тоник (без хляб) и други ехтри и 2 телешки езика за 103.45 паунда... Сбогом sunny beach

Lovely atmosphere every time. The staff are friendly and open for conversations, it feels like you are eating at home. They cater to your wants and welcome you. Their dishes range from traditional Bulgarian meat platters to pizzas and amazing desserts. The outside area is the one you are allowed to smoke in but it is still made warm with heaters.

Fully recommend the cheese shopski style and the family special - it comes with garlic bread and salad. The shepherd’s salad is really good! Don’t miss it! If you want to go for the real deal - order Rakia!

Wonderful Place. Excellent Waitresses. Lovely food & drink for reasonable prices. Sheltered outdoor seating with Heat lights to keep you warm during the Cold season.

Huge selection of grilled food, tasty and delicious food are big plus. Good selection of Bulgarian wines and beers. Few times went back just because of food. Place is not well organised and definitely need some refurbishment. Staff is not very motivated, they don’t understand orders properly unless you don’t speak Bulgarian. Many times asked for cucumber to be left out of salad but we always get it with cucumber. Also, big minus is that they don’t play authentic traditional or modern Bulgarian music. Can be better. Anyway, big fan of grilled food, Shopska salad, stuffed pepper with cheese and Bulgarian white wine.

Horrible experience today. We were regular customers in this restaurant. Today, we were a company of 4 people, and we ordered the share meat plate for 4-5 people. We waited for 1h to get our order, and as soon as they did it, half of the meat was raw inside. I called the waitress to inform her about the incident, and she asked us if we preferred the meat well cooked. I responded to her by saying that it is not a preference issue but a health and safety since the meat was pork and chicken, not beef. She took the plate back, the chef placed it back on the grill for a second time, and then the waitress brought it back to us; as a result, burned meat outside and raw again inside. The staff didn’t even apologize and they charged us a regular price for a plate that we didn’t eat. Awful experience and I don’t think I will go back. Such a shame.

I took an international group of friends to try Bulgarian food for the first time. They all absolutely loved it! We ordered many things and it was all delicious! Food is excellent, atmosphere is very Bulgarian (which was great for the overall experience) and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

The real deal Bulgarian experience. Lovely potatoes in all forms. Not much for the vegans of this world but the potatoes make up for it. Staff were extremely friendly by Bulgarian service standards, which was somewhat disappointing, but the waft of cigarettes from the patio restored authenticity.

Not very quiet for lunch. The tables are to close is feeling like you are have lunch with the people on the next table . The waitress did not give enough time to check the menu. Not options for vegetarians or vegans. It is little expensive for that kind of venue.

very bad attitude from the staff. the waitress bring my wife a chicken fillets fried with cornflakes but the oil was used for fish before that . when we noticed that and reported to the waitress she asked the chef and he told that the oil was new... bulshits... they even didn't apologize for it

Been visiting this place first time. Ordered chicken filet with cornflakes. When meal arrived was look nice but unfortunately the oil where the fillets were fried was used first for fish 😫 Do not recommend this place.

Искам да кажа само 3 неща, без да задълбавам. Човек с доста капризен вкус съм за място, атмосфера, храна. Мястото е страхотно, не мога да повярвам, че излизам от заведението и се намирам в Лондон. Връща ме в България. Атмосферата... Супер приятна! Сервитьора, който ни обслужваше ( Банчо ) - страхотен човек! ЗАСЛУЖАВА ПОВИШЕНИЕ! Много рядко да ме зарадва някой от сервизната част на някой ресторант/кръчма/бар. Този човек пълни душата! И последно, но не на последно място е храната. Няма какво да кажа, освен, че се държи на качеството, спазват се изцяло българските стандарти, а и цените са адски нормални, особено за Лондон. За моята малка компания, беше приятно да ви посетим, определено ще повторим, но искаме същия сервитьор! ☀️

Once per month I am there and it is a pleasure enjoying the Bulgarian meals. Nice staff and tasty food. Only I can recommend the kitchen staff needs to work with kitchen hats. This a health and safety responsibility.
