Suncastle in East Lindsey

Was here last weekend for the Soul Weekender absolutely brilliant, bar staff were very accommodating. The Carvery on Sunday 😋being coeliac can be a challenge but not for them , lovely carvery,the only things I couldn't have was stuffing balls, Yorkshire pudding & they made gluten free gravy for me delicious....other choices on the other menu to, fabulous weekend had by all 😊

I've been to Skeggy Reggae this weekend. I really loved the venue great outdoor space and lots of seating. Inside is ace. Great venue for music events 😀 it's a fun building. Staff where all lovely, extremely helpful and friendly 😁

Very quiet on a weekday lunch but food came very quickly. A very big portion to share and piping hot. The chips were very big and fluffy. Henry the dog was very comfy asleep on the floor while we ate.

When it sunny love having a pint outside and there's always someone singing, and on a Sunday they do a fantastic Sunday roast, well worth the money

Lovely carvery with home made Yorkshire pudding and fresh vegetables, staff were attentive and professional. Portion sizes were amazing, will definitely return

Didn't have food so cannot comment. Atmosphere was good loved the outside singer who was very entertaining getting you involved with everything.

The bar can be slow for service when busy, Children's soft play is brilliant

Called for a meal and entertainment with children it was great the lady running the entertainment was brilliant staff was great but the food let it down it was cold and overpriced and that wasn’t just my meal my family members was very overcooked and chips cold. Shame because this place could be a gold mine for the owner but they just need to sort the meals .

Unfortunately night time entertainment was trying to be too woke which ended up being cringe maybe a look into material and update it *reply we visted Tuesday

Was reasonably priced and will go again in Skegness food was good.

Absolute belter of a place, Skegness's finest venue standing proud, when I was a kid in the 80s I loved it when my mam n dad took me and my brothers and sisters there, Today I took my own family the staff were absolutely brilliant and the land lady was just absolutely fantastic and abit of a hottie lol, a very friendly place, Good old traditional seaside wholesomeness

We stopped here for a bite to eat, ordered a ham, cheese, chutney sandwich and a coffee. When the young man brought the food to our tabel he knocked over my coffee, these things happen. To my surprise he did not offer to get me another one. The bread was quite pale, not baked properly. The salad served with the food contained more raw red onions than lettuce. We were a bit disappointed overall, according to us a little eye for detail would nog go astray. A bit overpriced.

Silly how you have to cue in a meal cue.. should be a cue just for the bar. Dog friendly reasonable prices.

Been to see SKABURSTuk there,a ska tribute singer,it was great,very nice place,also been there at skeggy reggea and the skinhead ska and reggea for the last 3yrs aswell as the skeggy scooter rallys for the 10+yrs,large hall,lots of seating outside

This place was amazing, lots of space,food was top notch,staff friendly and approachable, good selection of music and seating areas,very family orientated though everyone welcome here from selection of people seen,will intend on visiting preferably not on a working holiday🙂,very chilled vibes here❤️.

Had the Sunday carvery, it was top notch.

Where do I start?! Absolutely fantastic in every sense. Came in on a Saturday lunchtime, today infact. Bar staff, lovely with a great sense of humour and incredibly helpful. Lauren and the chap working the bar today, great duo and again very helpful. Whole bar was clean, tidy well organised. 5 of us came to eat and all of had food withing 30 minutes - piping hot and perfect. The gravy with the steak and ale pie *chefs kiss* 👌 Almost all empty plates bar the children who's eyes were biggee than bellies! Highly recommend a visit after Natureland Seal Sanctuary!

We came to Skegness for four nights and came to the suncastle twice. Both during the happy hour 3 till 6pm which makes a pint of Fosters or Strongbow £3.20 each (I've been paying a fiver most places). The second time the weather was awful, our daughter wanted to play in softplay so it made sense to do the eat and play (£7.95 for a children's meal and play in the softplay). I liked the fact that it had a good portion of carrots sticks and cucumber, (my daughters choice). My husband had the jumbo hotdog which was also excellent, and came out quick and hot, lovely coleslaw and really lovely fresh dressed side salad (huge bonus).Portion very generous as well. Staff seemed really nice, chilled and friendly. We were very thankful for the suncastle during the rainy periods.

Great steak n ale pie, meat melted in the mouth. Lovely fluffy chips and peas. Well worth the price.

Best place to go in skegness with a family and young kids . Massive soft play inside open all day long .

Love this place best pub up skeg I think personally it's spacious good pint and reasonable priced and allows dogs

Excellent, found this place by accident by walking along the front and needed somewhere for food. We went in and were greeted by very friendly staff. The whole place had a good vibe. We ordered drinks and food, food only took a short while to come out and all meals were very good. No complaints at all. The staff even went above & beyond and helped my brother organise a birthday surprise for me which I knew nothing about. Excellent staff here and good food, a must if your around :)

Only stayed for one drink, hardly anyone in there. We had to check they were even open

Last weekend of the Easter school holidays, they decided to close the kids play area so families have to leave at 5pm (could stay if you bought a ticket £20 per person ) but still sold play area wrist band that should have been for the whole night at full price without saying it was closing early, if I'd have known it was only for an hour I wouldn't have bought one! And why did they close so the could host a boxing night!! 🤔 only rating 1 star so I can post this review, my rating is-0! In response to Sun Castle's reply no member of staff notified me that it would be closing early,full marks for doing charity work but because it's half term families are going to be taking their kids away during half term as families can't afford to take children out of school during term time, would it not be possible to leave upstairs open and have the boxing event down stairs.

Lovely place to have a chilled quiet drink. We went early Saturday afternoon so around 11am and it was quiet. A wedding downstairs was about to start. Play area for the kids and a snacks/sweet bar. View of the lawn on the front and main road. Didn't have food but the menu especially the seafood basket looked good value with lots of seafood inside

For two people eating and they have a happy hour as well

Highly recommend the new foot long hotdog it’s amazing The new menu is great, a group of us just popped in and absolutely loved it

Not as busy as usual for the Saturday night we were there,didn't help that the female singer wasn't up to date with her set which didn't keep people entertained enough.

The best carvery as a family we've had meat was cooked to perfection the vegetables were really nice the only thing was my kids dont like Cabbage so had to try and get the peas out as they were both mixed but we will definitely be back

Nice family pub. Have cheap beer prices at certain times every day. Live acts most days and children's play area although they do charge to use it.

Entertainment was not great, the hypnotist blamed the audience for being too loud, for his act not working. Very young children running around late at night.

Not the best of places I've visited. The place was untidy food plates and glasses left on tables not cleared away. Wont be going back there.

Loaded fries are the best I’ve tried , barbecue pulled pork with cheese over fries , can’t wait to come back! 🍟 🧀 🐖 😋

Nice drink. Staff amazing but run off her feet. So many people not staying as have to go upstairs for a drink. Disabled people can't use toilet as its upstairs so having to go elsewhere. Need to have a downstairs bar when the weather is nice. Losing out on trade

Playarea has a big slide once the kids go down they have to come out the play area and through the pub to get back into the play area. Not good for the little ones.. The staff were rude, stressed when serving so eye rolling us ordering food. Refusing to serve in glass because it's 'not there problem' there's no glasses washed, this upset a few customers. Could tell they were understaffed but that's no reason to be rude. Food was nice, waited a while and went to ask how long it would be to be told it was a 2hr wait (1hr after ordering)

Had a lunch time meal on Thursday, I have never had better, it was fantastic, the tower burger I had, all was cooked to perfection. The service was great, its the first time here for us but certainly will come again. Thankyou

First time visit. Seems a good venue for watching musical entertainment . Decent priced alcoholic drinks with friendly bar staff. And they also do bar food.

I went there twice and food was great and when we ordered we went in the play area for a bit and then food was already here and it was warm. Very good. 10 out of the 10.
