Sun Pier Oriental Food in Medway

2 kung po - one was really oily. Put it in a separate plastic bag rather than decide it wasn't fit for a customer's consumption. Watery sauce, void of flavour. Rubbery chicken. Prawns felt like the ready to eat ones from the supermarket. I've honestly cooked better and this was not worth the money we paid. Worst Chinese I've ever had.

Disappointed with the pancake rolls, more like spring rolls. Last time they were pancake rolls and were really nice. Very disappointed

FOOD WAS COLD. SALT & CHILLI KING PRAWNS WERE BURNT AND HARD AND VERY DISTASTEFUL. DUCK PANCAKES WERE TASTELESS. WASTE OF MONEY.

Overpriced, £8 for 8 chicken balls, £19 for two dishes delivered. Everything was cold, portions were small and the Sweet and sour sauce was like slightly flavoured water. Terrible.

Really good on delivery shame about the food noodles we're bland as anything and beef in black bean sauce smelt funny and had a sweet taste werent a fan of it at all suppose to be a spicy dish oh well try somewhere else next time

For what we spent didn't seem justified really, food was okay and just okay, although chips were fair they were For me a bit greasy and curry sauce bit too runny

Order was 15 minutes late, not a problem for us but the order had obviously fallen over during delivery and was sodden. No prawn crackers, driver said he would inform the restaurant and would be back out. Still no delivery after an hour.

Really nice flavours, order something with chilli and you wont be short changed for some heat! Really enjoyable food! Only real let down was delivery time, food arrived hot which was the upside but if it takes that long on a Tuesday evening, i dare not ask the delivery time on a Friday or Saturdayy night. Would order again but will collect in future.

The the delivery was good but the food was not up to standard, the beef in black bean was mainly noodles and onions. The kung po chicken was the same and not the best flavour in both dishes. I have tried quite a few Chinese takeaways and this falls at the lower end of the scale.

4 pieces of duck and no complimentary prawn crackers. Lack of flavour too! Won’t use again

It took an extremely long time to arrive but to be fair, I had completely forgotten it was Chinese New Year. However, when it did arrive it was really very nice. Everything was tasty, felt homemade and the satay was really good.

Food was fine, although the salt n pepper ribs were crazy spicy, huge amount of chilli seeds so I couldn’t it them. Have had from other places and they e never been close to this heat.

I know i've said it on here before, but I have to say it again......The food here is just amazing. Flavours, quality, portions, preparation, uniqueness, all are absolute perfection. Took nearly two hours to come but was hot and it was a Friday.

Absolutely lovely meal yet again :-) The use of seasoning from this kitchen is just amazing. Such unique and punchy flavours. Cannot recommend enough. Thankyou so much my favourite takeaway ever :-)

Who made that soup ??? Best soup I've ever had . Amazing Chinese, first time we have got from this one and really enjoying our meal .

By far the best Chinese food in the area. Everything was fresh, hot and well seasoned. The prices are great. The driver had the food in a cooler box for me to take the food from while he kept a distance and was very polite. The only little thing I would say is the cashew chicken was a bit too salty for my taste but I don't usually have salt on food.

Find was lovely, although spring rolls were a little overdone but would definitely order again.

Chicken wings were undercooked, nothing really tasted great.

Absolutely amazing food as always. Most takeaways in Medway do dishes the same generic way, but this place adds a little bit of flair and always has such unique flavours compared to most. Highly recommended and will keep coming back again and again. My favourite takeaway. Thankyou as always :-)

Utterly delicious food, friendly polite staff and a general beautiful atmosphere all round. The food is like no other Chinese I’ve had anywhere, 10 out of 10 does not do justice to this wonderful restaurant. They’re renovating their kitchen at the moment, so we’re now just not having Chinese until they’re open again, no where else comes close to comparison

We use this restaurant frequently and sometimes its a little hit and miss. Some of the food was beautiful but other items were cold and greasy. It is hard to know what to order and wish there were more vegetable options on the menu

Normally quite nice from sun pier but neither of us really enjoyed it this time , the ribs were good but the duck was not edible for me. Chips were undercooked, gravy however tasted nice. I’ll put it down to must have been very busy

All though it was delivered the time it was saying it was still over an hour wait for delivery. I fully understand different times are more busy but an hour for food delivered. On top if this the food quality was poor! The duck was dry, the sauce that comes with with duck pancakes was so waterd down it was like tap water! Rice was the only edible thing I could eat. And as for the lemon chicken... I ordet it all the time from countless places and this order was in edible. Over cooked way to much lemon to hide the fact the chicken was over cooked and that's just on the small anlunt of sauce that was in the box.

Great food as normal. Won’t order from any other Chinese.

All though the food arrived hot, it was very over cooked. The chicken in ever part of the meal was like sting and the the chicken inside the egg fried rice looked like it had been ripped/bitten off the bone. Satay sauce was not a sauce at all just a blob of peanut putter in a tub! The sweet and sour sauce was like tap water, no flavour and extremely watered down. And the rest of the food was very bland considering in the past it has always been packed full of flavour Normally have no problems with this restaurant but tonight was just awful!

Best food around. Great chicken balls and a lovely homemade satay sauce.

Chinese style duck comes as a whole breast in a gravy type sauce with onions, is ok. Peking dumplings lovely and if you ask they will send a vinegar dipping sauce. Dim sum combo lovely.
