Sun House Chinese Takeaway in Sheffield

Found this Gem of a place in Sheffield, been twice and every time I’m in Sheffield will eat here. Food was 1 of the best Chinese I’ve had. There is no place like this in Manchester. Kung po Tofu, veg chow mien noodles, black bean tofu… amazing 🤩

Lovely food, best Chinese in Sheffield by far! Great value for money too highly recommend to anyone. The munch box is my go to.

This has become our go to takeaway. Had five now in the last couple of years and all have been excellent value , incredibly tasty and well cooked. Generous portions. We have delivery and they always give an accurate due time. Food hygiene rating is 5 too - which matters to me.

Just had a set meal for 3 and it was really delicious. Have never been before. The restaurant looked really nice and lots of smiles from the young lady serving. Thank you

This was the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in ages! It tasted just like it used to when I was a kid. All the dishes tasted different. All really good. I highly recommend this place.

Read reviews, it looks nice enough from the outside so decided to try it. Food was cold, we did take away and it was no more than 10 minutes in the car away. Cold, bland, very poor. Egg fried rice tasted greasy and had no nice egg or other bit in it. Would not recommend.

Amazing fresh food and great service. Food ready in 15 mins for a family of five. Happy days. Great local takeout

Sun House is a firm favourite for eating in and takeaway. Every dish I’ve tried tastes fresh, light and delicious. Takeaway always arrives promptly and super hot. Portions are great and there is lots of choice on the menu, particularly for vegetarians (me!) Service is polite and friendly too. I really like the custard buns! Highly recommend Sun House.

I hope this place gets more recognition soon because it really deserves to! Lovely fresh food that's always really tasty, friendly service over the phone and in person, very clean and nice inside when you collect - just a great takeaway all round. They have all the classics on the menu, plus delicious dim sum - love the spring onion buns! Generous portions and good value too. Highly recommended!

This has to be one of the most delicious Chinese take aways we've had in a very long time. Recommended by a work colleague, we ordered food this evening. The beef with green peppers and black bean sauce is the best we've had, the shredded chicken with chilli and garlic was perfect, nice and crispy with plenty of sauce. Not only was it absolutely great food, it was delivered in 20 mins! Definitely my 1st choice for Chinese food from now on!

Ordered food from Sun House on the recommendation of a friend. I've had loads of Chinese food before over many years, but this is way out in front! Lovely taste and good quality. Portion sizes are great. I ordered for delivery and the food came fifteen minutes early. Well done Sun House, we will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Genuinely the nicest Chinese food I've had in this country, its been 7 long years of always kinda meh food, but this place is incredible. Staff are also really friendly, delivery is fast, and the prices are pretty great. Can't recommend enough, we've started ordering pretty regulalry.

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time tonight and it was delicious! It only took half an hour to arrive, was piping hot with generous portions and was the best Chinese food I’ve tasted for a long time. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

We ordered set meal B for 2. It was promptly delivered. There was lots of food, including two portions of Singapore rice. We couldn't eat it all, it would easily have served another person. Every dish was delicious, the vegetables were very fresh. All well...

Just had our first takeaway delivered. It was excellent, piping hot, so very fresh, and delivered within half an hour of us ordering. We are vegetarian, there was plenty of options for us. We will definitely order from them again.

Our new favourite takeaway! A great menu with plenty of vegetarian options available. The menu is really clearly set out so easy to find things, food was made quickly for collection and had good portion sizes. Looking forward to our next takeaway treat from sun...

Absolutely lovely food, this is definitely our new favourite. Very clean and beautiful decor inside, and very friendly staff. Would 100% recommend.

Saw this new place pop up and thought I'd give it a try, really good choices especially for a vegetarian :) really tasty, good sized portions and well within budget, will visit again soon!
