I could not have wished for better quality food or a more welcoming staff. I make it a point to visit this establishment whenever I am in the area.

I have visited the Seahorse since the mid 80's, and in my opinion its second to none. I have also been to a fair amount of Fish and Chip shops from Southend Pier to Penzance with many displaying awards but if there was an equivalent of an Oscar in this industry they would deserve to be winners or atleast nominated. It may not have the latest decor or seating or the franchise look, but honestly, many of us look for clean authentic honest eateries when abroad and this would be what your looking for, and on very own doorstep. If you have had an unfortunate experience, give it a another chance. Seahorse is one of the last iconic shop of Eastham if not London. Viva the Seahorse!

Really bad experience food was bad even the customer service was bad we asked for spicy paneer kadai it was not spicy rather sweet paneer tikka was not coated properly didnt even serve chutney with paneer tikka had to ask for chutney for drink its written Mixture 1£ charged 1.95£ sayings its our rate however it was on menu saying 1£ Prawn fried rice written it was spicy not at all good
