Good portion sizes and friendly staff. The interior was very old fashioned but clean, I liked it.

Very good fish and chips and saveloy

I asked for cod and chips and the chips were very old so I said to them could you please give me a fresh bag of chips which he applied? They are fresh and if you’re not happy go to a different shop this is no good for you that is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone talk to me like that and he was the owner of the chip shop, it’s been times where they’ve been has his chips and the staff are always eating chips or sausage butter from the counter and then serving which is disgusting. I don’t recommend eating from there. It’s a health hazard.

Best fish and chips in London. Te staff are very very friendly, the lovely ladies god bless them and the male manager..I've been eating since I was in my 20s. The quality of food is lovely and the food is always served piping hot 🔥

Perfect place to have your food served by very friendly ladies. I chose this place after checking reviews on Google. What a great place to have the perfect fish and chips. My friend and myself ordered large cod and chips which we found to be too much for us and struggled to finish it off. The large ones are for youngsters not for us oldies. As, it is been a very long time, and out of greed we ordered for the large ones and learnt our lesson. The chips are proper large cut one. All in all I would recommend this place in a jiffy. Thank you ladies for given us a great experience.

Absolutely love this chippy! Chips are cooked well (more soft than crispy) and tasty! The fish always hits the spot too, and the saveloy is my favourite in London so far (again a nice texture which is not crispy). The prices are creeping up slowly, and hopefully doesn't keep going or it'll become unaffordable. The interior is a bit bleak in all honesty - dark and dingy, but don't let that change your mind about the good food and friendly staff.

It's an institution in the area, it's been open since I can remember and serving the best chips in the area. These days the chips are machine cut but always freshly cut on the day. I think in this modern day that seems to be the trend but these are quality spuds used to make these chips that taste best 3-4 mins after coming out of the frier so they have that lovely texture. The ladies running the show are a credit to the business and always friendly and polite. May this place be open forever.

I've been visiting this local institution since I was three years old. A few decades later, it's still as dear to my heart. The staff are always friendly and they stop to have a chat at all the tables. The fish and chips is consistently good. My family have moved out to Essex but still come back here to get their fix.

Probably the best chippy in East London for the last 25 years. No one can beat them. Chips are fresh. They don’t refry chips like other takeaway shops. Almost every Asian chicken and chips shop I have been to in East London refry their chips. If you haven’t tried this place I would highly recommend it. Even if it is a drive away from where you live.

This fish and chip shop offers large portions, dine in options. The drinks aren't too marked up. You can expect to pay £10 for fish and chips on a plate and an additional £1 for a can of drinks. The staff are friendly and local. They offer cod, skate, rock, plaice.

Beautiful fish and chips!. Best fish I've had for a while Quality. Had some in North London where I live a week later and was disappointed. It was no comparison to what Seahorse gave me... Lovely staff too. Highly recommended 🙂

Absolutely beautiful food and nice staff

A little wait is required as your fish is freshly cooked for you but a real welcome awaits you here. They are really trying hard to please and are succeeding with top quality, reasonably priced fare. A difficult task when there several chippys in the area. We came here one evening during our holiday and had great fish and chips. The child's portion was exceedingly generous. The fish was flaky and the batter light and the chips were hot and crunchy. Altogether tasty indeed.

Went in and asked for 6 cod fish pieces and asked if they were fresh and was told yes they were hard cold and dry

The best Fish and Chips shop in East London. Nothing within the area really does compare. There are a few alternatives closer to me however, travelling a bit further to Seahorse is worth it. Portions are large and tastey, multi cultural customers (which really speaks volumes of the quality) and fantastic, friendly staff.

Best fish n chips in london, no need to describe any more, but 10 out of ten. Always busy, eat in as well. Their fish and chips are just as perfect as you can get, no one does any better than theirs, they are what you would measure others with.

There's fish and chips and then there is fish and chips here! And no two ways about it this place sets the standards for not just East Ham but the surrounding areas it really is a treasure undiscovered and I'm so glad that I found this place in a area that you wouldnt expect to find this standard of English food. Thankyou and glad to have helped support what is a minority flag bearer as we really do need to back these places like others support there's!

Took mum with Wheely walker holding oxygen. As usual,staff were lovely and food fab. Good to see them still there. I went as a teenager.

I am a 6+ year customer here and I have had no trouble at all being a regular customer to this place. The food is delicious, the place is clean and the staff are well organised. The women at the counters are very approachable and friendly. Food is fresh and tasty. The prices are fair for such tasty food and the service is mostly quick. Even during busy hours. I highly recommend people to purchase food from this place more often!

Is it me or are the staff always miserable. I've always thought that everytime I've gone in there ...been going ever since I was young kid and everyone of them are miserable to non-whites...don't even look at you when talking!

This small shop stood there for over 50 years. Absolutely one of the best fish n chips places in London. It was well worth a trip from Central London. Must order the extra large Cod fish which will be freshly fried. The waitresses were very friendly and nice. The price was more than reasonable.

Had fish and chips take way and the fish had really bad smell seem was run out but yet sold it,before knowing my Lil one had it and now going through food poisoning from the fish 👎👎👎
