Such a nice atmosphere - friendly staff, comfortable and cosy seating, and great coffee and cakes.

Lovely food made on the premises. Porridge for breakfast while my kitchen is being refurbished is a joy. The flapjacks, toasties and soup are also very good.

Came here late 2022 just before Christmas and loved the entire atmosphere. The entire park was cold and snowy and I loved drinking a warm coffee and having a brownie here. :) Very good place for baked treats/breakfast, but they do a variety of other options such as soup which you can get if you aren't feeling breakfast. Definitely plan on returning if the weather gets as cold as last year - very quaint and humble place which I love. Not too outlandish, just right for a cafe. One thing I'd improve though is the pricing - not very accessible for those who enjoy this place on a regular basis. I'd definitely be a regular if they had a low cost tea/coffee option.

The best cafe in the area by some margin - five stars for the quality of the products and the location - their signature brioche with custard is excellent and unique, everyone going there should try it. Dog friendly, too.

A lovely independent cafe in the park with homemade food and a wide range of cakes.

GREAT chilled atmosphere.. tasty coffee delicious brownies and a nice crispy bread loaf.

I find this place so hit and miss. The staff seem lovely but they really need training on the coffee machine, and the portion sizes go from famine to feast, and when it's the former and you're hungry, it's a little frustrating, as we my experience with a very small bird of frittata today. I'd recommend asking to be shown what portion size you'll get of a given item on the lunch menu if you want to be sure of something other than a small snack

Lovely gem in Newham, such amazing baked goods, baristas are soo lovely and kind, chai latte is great too. But it does upset me that the prices are inflated for Newham and it probably isn’t accessible to the average person living here. There should be cheaper tea available for sure and at least ranges of cheaper things and higher prices. — coffee isn’t the best tasting and dog owners in the cafe have been quite rude when I’ve been sat inside. I’d love it if baristas enforced dogs on leads inside the cafe!! :)

Toasty are always burnt even after reporting this to the staff. This is the second time I’ve ordered this and has turned out the same. Never used to be like this.

Not a great experience. I used to come here regularly and have the kimchi and cheese toastie so thought I'd grab one today after not having been for a while, what a disappointment. £6, was much smaller than it used to be, cheese tasted completely nondescript - just "yellow", service took forever and the server kept touching her hair. The pricing is way off these days as well - £7.80 for a vege soup and slice of toast? I recommend Applecart in Plashet park - they're not the fastest either but food is yum, better value for money, homely atmosphere and the staff are lovely.

As a long term resident of East Ham, it is pleasure to see this cafe opened again after being closed for a long time. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I had a proper cup of coffee and a freshly baked chocolate brownie. Oh, I also bought a sourdough loaf for later.

We know this place for a long time, food is amazing, but place is dirty and tables also need to clean more.

Cosy, clean, friendly service but ridiculously overpriced. I had a latte and pastry takeaway there this morning. latte came in a tiny cup and was half filled with froth and the few sips of coffee was not hot or great tasting. The pastry was good but too sweet for me. That set me back £6.20 :( I would expect to pay that in Central London not in East Ham 🤣

An excellent cafe with great choice of food

Visited again today. Still incredibly overpriced. £6.80 for soup and a slice of bread. £5+ for a toasted sandwich. Coffee very expensive, cheaper in Costa. £3.80 for a children's toasted sandwich. Overpriced crisps. Nothing to recommend it. AVOID

We had a walk here with our son, was amazed at what is on offer, home cooked food we had their home made sour dough bacon sarny's and home made cakes together with great teas and coffees. Very retro, children's exchange clothes for sale which is a great idea as we are all watching the penny's and other items too. Mothers meeting friends with their young ones, some people working so hot desking, hope of activity and cultures. If I had one small comment it would be not enough outside seating, so we had tecame free.o stalk and pounce when a table became free, however inside seating is great with large tables. It helped us all unwind from what is a troubling time for us personally at the momen and get awtay from the rat race...

If only I could give more stars. Lovely food and a great cup of tea. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Ally. I made an awful mess, spilling hot tea everywhere. Embarrassing for an adult to make such a mess, so I was expecting at least an eye roll from the staff, but Ally was so polite and helpful. I can't praise them enough.

Lovely bread and a great space for families and kids

Lovely spot for something to eat. I especially love how all the staff interacted with each customer and every customer, and you can certainly see why they have loads of regulars. Lovely coffee and they have retail bags of Caravan if you’re a home brewer like me xx

Nice park cafe with a great kids playground adjacent. Serves healthy options...very nice but quite expensive for the area which generally limits the clientele to the more affluent residents of Newham. Would not be out of place in Hackney or Islington.

Lovely place with great staff. The coffee can be a bit hit and miss- scalding hot or cold milk and not always the most expert barristas but they make up for it with lots of charm and great homemade goodies. Wonderful location which has transformed this part of East Ham.

Exceptionally friendly staff with a very personable approach to the customers. I am, much to the detriment of my bank account, a regular coffee drinker and I absolutely love coming to this park side cafe. The coffee is lovely and on the odd occasion, when I have eaten, the hot food is delicious. I do however favour the sweet delights and these are quite honestly the best locally sourced and freshly prepared treats that anyone could ask for. With seating both inside and out, the choice of staying and doing some work is very relaxing as you can watch the world go by on a summers day outside or you can comfortably cosy up inside and transport to a world of your own while you work. Highly recommend giving this place a try! Keep on Supporting local businesses

Good range of food in the cafe, though my sourdough toastie was very overdone. Staff were friendly and thank god there's a toilet.

Great food with an ever expanding menu of bites to eat. Always friendly staff with a real interest in baking fresh cakes, treats and surprises. Highly recommend dropping in on your next lap of the central park for a coffee to meet the super friendly team. A proper hidden gem!

I love this local, independent café. The chocolate brownies are amazing as is the sour dough bread and sausage rolls. As you can tell I've tried a few things of the menu. I highly recommend this café. Enjoy!

This is a excellent park to visit it's got to 3 tennis courts, it as a bowling green, two table tennis tables and it as very excellent play area for the kids to play , and it as a very good Cafe that does excellent food .

Average and massively overpriced. A poor substitute for the previous management who had interesting food that people wanted. Often completely empty even on hot summer days. Staff smoking behind the counter and visibly poor hygiene. Ice cream incredibly expensive compared to major brands. You should avoid it. Better to buy from nearby ice cream van. Pity I can't give it zero stars. Worst park cafe I have ever visited.

Really like this cute little cafe, in the middle of a lovely park, with a kiddies swing park right outside the cafe. Lovely coffee & homemade cakes. Toilets clean & fantastic baby change facilities.

Best chocolate brownie you'll ever have (rich but with a hint of salt), gorgeous coffee in charming mismatched crockery, fresh bread, soup, savoury food, lots of different cakes and buns. Kids' play area too, judging by the families it's very kid friendly - but lovely for a solo coffee and cake too.

Warm welcome from the new team that have just taken over. Delicious almond milk flat white and a flapjack in, and a loaf of their freshly baked bread to take away, were excellent. Decent choice of juices in the fridge for kids and a world class playground adjoining make this a seriously parent friendly spot for East Hammers.

New managements with a great focus on high quality food .there is artisanal bread , homemade cakes, and the coffee is local roasted. Good space for kids if you have one . Impressed by how it changed.

It's a nice little cafe, did a good scone and a cup of coffee. It does lack character though.
