Sultan Turkish Restaurant in Redbridge

I’m really sorry to say sultan platers it’s not valuable for that money for other Turkish restaurants I’m very disappointed.

Excellent customer service. Nice update on the decor. The best turkish food around.

Me and my friend have visited the sultan restaurant, this is my first time visiting. it was amazing, the taste was soo delicious and the ambiance wow, it won’t be my last , for sure recommend to you all to visit for sure

Fantastic experience at Sultan Turkish Restaurant! The mixed grill was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the complimentary Turkish tea and delight at the end were a lovely touch. The staff was welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. The ambiance is cozy and family-friendly—definitely a place I’d recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish food. Will be coming back for sure!

A perfectly average Turkish restaurant in the heart of Ilford that does the job without leaving much of an impression. The food was decent enough, nothing special but edible. Prices were reasonable for what you get. However, there was an off-putting smell throughout the restaurant that made the dining experience less pleasant than it should have been. If you're looking for a quick Turkish meal and aren't too fussy, it'll do, but there are probably better options in the area.

Disappointing service The head waiter was extremely rude and displayed discriminatory behavior. As we were nearly finished with our meal, a staff member approached us and asked if we could leave within five minutes to accommodate other customers. However, the table next to ours, who had arrived before us, were not asked to do the same. Additionally, when we accidentally left our infant’s pacifier behind, the staff member seemed noticeably displeased about returning it.

Came with family for the first time anf really enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. The Food is lovely. Bread was perfect and ribs were fantastic. Everything was piping hot. Staff are really friendly and accommodating too 😊

First time here. Great food. Really tasty. Loved the ribs! Generous portion size! We got a platter to share between 4 of us and we still had plenty to take home. Customer service is brilliant. Child friendly too. Staff are really kind and well spoken. Decor is really nice too.

We dined here yesterday place was packed felt like everyone was on top of each other. Everyone got hummus with their bread except for us. We wasn’t offered drinks, waiters looked miserable and tired. Food was lovely.

We just had our dinner at Sultan’s Ilford and this restaurant serves best Turkish food in Town. They serve salad n Fresh Hot Bread with Humus n other things as a starter with main food after coming after that. Everything is so delicious n juicy here. Fariya served us and she is such a helpful soul. She should get a pay rise🤩 I highly recommend this to everyone

The food was amazing and really good price. Meat was well cooked. All staff was good in specific Fariya was amazing her pretty smile and her attention for the customers is lovely and would make me come back always. Highly recommend.

We noticed that if we eat in the portion is smaller. If we take away, its larger. The waitress were new and forgot our starters , sauces etc. Staff need to be trained, please. I'm not sure if they have had a change in management, but the food standards have dropped, but the restaurant looks cleaner. 👌

I was waiting for my takeway. I received amazing hospitality. Three of the staffs offered me the complimentary tea. That’s made me very happy and respectful.

Really nice food, enjoyed a lot. I dine Inn here today, had Chicken Sheesh with rice and lovely Turkish tea.

When buying takeaway sultan chicken platter meal. Please don’t put in the menu details complimentary chicken doner. It’s a joke lie there are no doner. They fill up the box with so much of the rice and bulgar tasteless. Don’t put complimentary doner if you don’t want to give. The price is not worth £34 the hummus has no taste they give lots of sauces and show they gave lots of food. Even the bread is tasteless. The lamacun was rock hard the bread. Not happy with the food! Please don’t cheat like this with food with people in Islam!

Staff are helpful and friendly. The food is always very tasty. The refunds are upmarket.

I’m mostly order for collection .and whenever I order something ver the week end I get the smallest portion of bulgur and donner and whenever I complained about their portion they always say over a phone that they will compensate next time and whenever ever i ordered next time they refuse to acknowledge the small portion complain . Food is great but whenever they are busy they make portion small so they can make more money .

I'm only giving this 2 stars because of the waitress who served us later in the meal—she was lovely. Unfortunately, our initial server was incredibly rude. She quite literally threw the bread basket and dips onto our table. We also ordered the chicken shish with yoghurt, expecting the usual dish. Instead, what we received was chopped-up bread covered in the same sauce as the chicken, almost as if it was trying to disguise itself as the proper dish. There was significantly more bread than chicken, which was disappointing.

Apparently its normal to ask for a quarter pounder meal and get just a patty with cheese…stale chips. The burger was ridiculous.

Food was amazing. My son has multiple food allergies. We spoke to Faria, one of the waitresses. We informed her of all of his allergies. She was able to ensure that my son’s food was cooked separately. She regularly checked up on us. We left happy and so was my son.There service was excellent easy to communicate with floor staff.
