Suhan Chinese Restaurant in Nottingham

HIGHLY recommend this place, the food is ALWAYS amazing (and hot!) and feels like it gets better and better every time!? I've tried all the Chinese restaurants and this one is by far the best. I just wish it opened on Tuesdays!

I don’t usually write reviews but feel this restaurant deserves one! Me and my flat mate order from here regularly and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious and we’ve tried quite a few different items on the menu. The prawn toast is the best I’ve ever had! The portion sizes are also generous so it’s really worth the money. We order from Deliveroo and we’ve been impressed every time by how quickly it’s come. Cannot fault this restaurant at all and it’s my favourite for Chinese in Nottingham, would highly recommend!

DO NOT under any circumstances go here, worst most disgusting food I have ever had in my life, had raw chicken in the curry and the sauce was so congealed it was un edible, they dont answer the phone as everytime you ring is says couldn't connect. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!! I will be reporting to the food hygiene agency and trading standards.

Food was stone cold, really bland and soggy and way over princed do not eat here.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Long wait times, terrible food at extortionate prices, even found a hair in the shredded beef.

Food was really nice, the only down fall was the beef in black bean sauce had too many chillies in it otherwise would of been a five star as food was cooked to perfection, the quality and quantity of the food was on point, The driver was also really friendly and helpful. Satisfied and will deffo order again from here

Whenever we fancy Chinese food we always order from here through Ubereats. The food is always gorgeous. You can order in advance and book a delivery time if you want to. I always recommend this restaurant to friends and family and have never been disappointed with an order. So if you want excellent Chinese food this is the place to go.

Here is an amazing restaurant. I order regularly through Uber Eats. This evening there was a lot of trouble with the delivery. I had placed an order but the driver never arrived. I called and explained, and the staff were very apologetic. They prepared a second order fresh and free of charge. This second order did not arrive and by now it was very late. I called a second time and they very kindly refunded me and if the food did arrive I could keep it. When it grew later with no order in sight, the restaurant staff themselves (a lady and young man) drove another fresh order to me and apologised in person. I have never seen such excellent customer service from a restaurant before and they have worked extremely hard to please a regular customer. The food was delicious as always.

Partner and I orderd though just eat. Just eat error only for allowing an order to somewhere so far away. Restaurant rang us said that we don't deliver but will give us a refund. THIS WAS A LIE! we have rang 3 times and said that they have put this though, we couldn't get a refund from just eat as system said delivered. The restaurant never gave us our money back, waste of time we have wrote it off they obviously need it!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful food best Chinese I've had in such a long while! It was fresh not greasy at all, lots of flavour, and delivered really hot. Highly recommended 👌

The Singapore noodles I ordered as a takeaway had a fermented, sour & rotten taste, needless to say we won't be going here again.

Ordered £30 worth of food, called multiple times after waiting half an hour past the delivery time. No answer on the phone, no food and obviously no service. Food has been good in the past, but will be going to one of the many other Chinese restaurants in the future. Very poor. Also struggling to get my order cancelled and my money back for receiving no food and wasting my time

Had the house special chow mein. It was bland. No seasoning, chilli or any sauce. Just fried noodles with meat put in. Decent portion but absolutely no flavour. Had to place in a pan and refry with seasoning.

Not recommend. Food is dry, standard noodles, no spicy, no sauce, no proper vegetables or Chinese mushrooms. Cheap imitations of real Chinese food. Dear owner, you have travel too far from original Chinese food. Full of sprouting seeds that is all. First and last visit to this place. If I will come back - I will be back to check if that standard went up or not.

Ordered through Uber eats, and I have to say the food was amazing. Usually when I get Chinese the meat is dry and tasteless, but the meal we got from tonight was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Used to like ordering in here but no longer listed on deliveroo or just eat. Food usually really nice and a good choice to try some more authentic Chinese food.

Absolute joke. Have been waiting over half an hour beyond the delivery time we were told it would arrive by (hour and twenty minutes since ordering). Have tried calling the restaurant TEN times now with no response. Starting to think they don’t exist. I don’t care how good the food is if it ever arrives, Will never try here again. Joke.

Amazing food! One of the best Chinese I’ve had... couldn’t fault the Kung Po chicken, would definitely recommend to order from here and the customer service was great! :)

I had the duck with plum sauce, the crabmeat and sweetcorn soup, boiled rice, and mini veg spring rolls. Everything I had was really, really tasty. Duck was cooked to perfection, very tender, and the plum sauce was so tasty. The crabmeat and sweetcorn soup was very flavoursome, generously seasoned, and piping hot. The spring rolls and rice were also very yummy. Also, the delivery guy was very friendly and within the timeframe. Appreciate the lovely meal, I would happily eat here again.

We were surprised of how good and fresh the food was. One of the best Chinese food we had in Nottingham and the prices are very reasonable. Very good table service and the smile on staff faces is a bonus. I had a question about meat ( if it’s Halal) and the chief came to answer me. For those who eat halal like me, the chicken is halal.

I went there on Sunday with my families: 4 adults and 3 children. There are many parking spaces at the car park, and it is not far from the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and waitress very friendly. We ordered morning glory, spicy kai lan,stewed tofu, spicy beef and one mixed small spicy vege pots. They tasted amazing! The tofu were filled with the sauce and the garlic morning glory was so nice, the kids ate 2 or 3 bowls each with rice--other dishes were too spicy for them. We, the adult loved all the dishes. We had to ask refill the rice bucket twice! We will definitely go back again and recommend the restaurant to anyone.

The food is great! I have been here multiple times and they have never failed to impress with their unique flavours, you will not find these dishes in your typical Chinese restaurant so it's a great experience and lots to explore on the menu. Most importantly! the staff are very friendly and helpful and will accommodate for any dietary requirements :)

Excellent traditional Chinese hotpot with a full menu as well. Friendly attentive service.

Nice place with lots of choices. However if you haven't had hot pot before, you might struggle.

Really fun place to go for dinner, pricey but enjoyable!

Really tasty steamboat broth and great fun to cook your own food at the table. The environment is a bit dated and could do with refurbishment. The toilets aren't very nice either

Great place for traditional Chinese hot-pot.

This is not a meal, it's an experience. This is true of many Chinese hotpot establishments. I've had fun each and every time I've visited. The staff are very friendly, if a little over-whelming at times. The toilets could certainly do with a spruce up as they're a little scary (not good when you want reassuring of hygiene). The choice of cook for yourself ingredients is not the widest variety I've seen, but its enough to be as safe or as adventurous as you'd like.
