Welcomed with a cream tea and some chatter. Lovely room with large bed and shower. Great breakfast on request . Eggs.Yogurt.Serials. Full English if you want . Very central location.Sue and Nigel couldn't do more for us.

My friend and I stayed here 1 night as part of a hiking weekend in Dorset. She had found this address online and what a good find it was! Sue and Nigel are lovely people who welcomed us with tea and delicious scones. The room was spacious, bright and very clean. The actual location is great, Abbotsbury is a quaint little village and Sue and Nigel's B&B is situated in the heart of the town, pubs / restaurants are a stone's throw away. This couple's hospitality doesn't know any boundaries, they did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I can only recommend to stay at this address when looking for a B&B in the area!

Welcomed with cream tea on arrival, room modern and very comfortable, fabulous big bed, the owners went above and beyond nothing too much trouble, we really didn't want to leave. We will definitely visit again.

We've been visiting Wheelwrights for years and the title says it all really. Excellent scones, plenty of clotted cream, good jam, and lovely home made cakes too if you have space. The atmosphere inside is calm and quaint, the garden is lovely too!

Wheelwrights est un salon de thé, dans une vieille maison pleine de charme, comme toujours en Angleterre. Vous serez accueillis par un monsieur charmant et sa femme qui aiment la France ! Monsieur parle très bien le français, ce qui facilite la conversation ! Le cream tea est vraiment excellent, servi dans une jolie vaisselle. Les scones légèrement tiédis sont très frais et savoureux, la portion de clotted cream est généreuse et de bonne qualité, les confitures de fraises avec des morceaux est parfaite ! Bref, si vous passez dans cette région du Dorset, à Abbotsbury, ne vous privez surtout pas de cette petite escale à Wheelwrights, vous ne serez pas déçus.
