Enough really is enough. It appears the staff member in question has mis-treated numerous members of the public. I am urgently writing this email as I have a valid suspicion your staff member by the name of Ben has a distinctive ego obsessive personality which does and should not exist in your company. This morning at 18th August at around 8.10am I walked into my local Greggs to pick up my weekend coffee. You would notice around this time Ben would see me walk in and keeps his eyes on me as I stand in the queue - please note this action has been noted by me and my friends on several occasions and we will each make a further complainy in due course. A little after 8.15am after I had got my coffee he deliberately walks out of his serving desk with a box and continues to lock eyes with me - as if to say I am looking at you and what?! Youll notice your cameras would see him actually turn round to continue to stare at me - this is not a natural body position. At this point I needed to say something so I stated 'Why are you looking at me for?!' To which he got startled and replied back with 'What is wrong witchu' in his strong nigerian accent. Ironically assuming he has done nothing wrong but continue to stare at me not just on this occasion but perhaps 10+ occasions. I told him to not come close to me, I dont want you any where near me or I will do something I will regret. I put down my coffee as his threatening and deliberating behaviour is completely out of sorts for a regular customer. He came very close to me with his hands behind his back.. he made sure to protect himself with the cameras but I would hope the Greggs colleagues would hear what he was saying to me - trying to state I.. of all people would think to threaten another human being!! I told him to back off and I proceedes to protect myself by looking away from him as he smelt repulsive.. again how can this happen in a respectful clean environment AND your serving food!! This behaviour has occured on many occasions especially last year when he refused to comply to a Subway Offer I had every right to use but instead turned the offer as he has served me with the same offer the day before. He cannot continue to work here. I have anxiety every time I come in on a weekend with his stalk like eyes looking at me. Can I also state he had on a previous occasion stepped out of the premises and took a picture of my car including my number plate. I had already contacted the police regarding this. I do not want a disciplinary action, this member of staff need to leave his role with immediate before he mis-treats innocent customers. You cannot have an individual with this sort of mental trait as it will just get worse. If he remains in his role and I get stared at again, I will call the police HOWEVER I trust you watch the cameras and you can make your decision. I do not wish to end up posting this on social media all across Manchester with my high number of foodie followers - I am not writing this email for a telling off.. me and my other mis-treated friends require Ben to leave his position immediately.

I ordered a Subway for myself and my disabled brother through the app, using both his account and mine. I went to the store to pick them up. When I got there, I spoke to a young cashier who was about to hand me the sandwich. Suddenly, a man who seemed to be the manager (my guess), with a strong Nigerian accent, came out and asked, "Is that your order?" I didn't think he was talking to me, so I continued talking to the young cashier. Then the manager said, "It's a duplicate order" and asked to see my app. I was confused because I knew I had ordered two sandwiches. When I showed him my account, he saw one order, and as I was logging out to log in with my brother's account, he shouted, "No! You can only get one sandwich with the promotion." I tried to explain that the other order was for my brother, who is disabled, and that I usually run errands for him. He interrupted and said, "Are you trying to challenge me?" which confused me even more because I wasn't being confrontational. He then said, "If you challenge me, you will not get your sandwich." I asked what he meant, and he repeated, "You're challenging me. If you don't keep quiet, you're challenging me." I don't have much money and couldn't afford to lose what I paid for, so I didn't argue further. However, the experience really disturbed me. It's been two days now, and I initially wasn't going to write a review, but I don't want other customers to go through this, especially those who might not be in the best frame of mind. It's important to mention that I am also African and only 21, though I look younger. I think the manager's attitude was influenced by my appearance. However, sharing similar backgrounds doesn't justify rudeness and poor customer service.

Amazing sandwich and fully loaded 😍 Raham who served me was super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Cannot fault 10/10 loved the southwest sauce (im a subway newbie) and the cheesy nachos.

missing a significant amount of the vegetables. I was shocked to see that my Salad Bowl was almost half empty, and the vegetables were barely visible. I was not expecting to receive such a small quantity of salad, especially considering that I paid the full price for it. I feel that I did not receive the value I expected, and as a loyal customer, I am disappointed in the quality of customer service.

Honestly not even sure where to begin with this review. I’ve been to this particular Subway on numerous occasions since I moved to Salford Quays and I’ve rarely had a stress-free experience. Primarily the issue is communication. The staff, on pretty much every occasion, have misunderstood my order or made bad assumptions about it when I made it crystal clear how I wanted my order prepared. On many occasions I have ended up at the checkout and have been made to pay extra for something that I did not expressly request, and on today’s occasion, I made it clear that I wanted to pay for my family’s meal (rather than just mine and my girlfriend’s) and the order came to £17~. I was very surprised because our order should have come to more, so I enquired again to make sure they had it right. They said we did. Then when my dad had finished at the salad section, they then asked him to pay for his sub and coffee, when I had to interject and say that we had already paid. I knew that they had forgotten to include this meal in the order but the communication with them was so painfully slow and inefficient that I’d just decided to wait and see what they’d do when my dad got to the checkout. He then made a fuss because we had already paid for our family’s meal and we had already made it clear to the staff that that was what we wanted to do, and so the manager on shift just told us (quite passive-aggressively) that the last subway and coffee were on the house and that the next customer should come along. Maybe it was because the queue was growing and he was getting restless. Even so, there is a need for better communication between employees and customers or this particular chain will fail. Furthermore: I am vegan but I don’t really care if the staff do not change their gloves between different orders (this point of view is not common among vegans, it must be said) but I do find it annoying when they start asking if I want cheese whilst they’re already grabbing the cheese and getting ready to layer it on. If I’ve ordered a vegan subway, maybe it would make sense to pick up the vegan cheese and not cross-contaminate? I am liberal with how I want my food prepared but I know that there are those out there with allergies for whom such habits are not only unacceptable but dangerous. At the end of the day, I make it pretty clear which cheese I would like and what toppings, but the staff seem to work in their regular rhythms where they go to pick up the cheese immediately and they go to grab vegan meats right after picking up other non-vegan meats. They do not cater well to vegan customers or those with potential allergies. They had better work harder to change up habits. This occasion today was just the straw that broke the camel’s back. It’s not a one off and it’s always the same staff I have problems with.

Went before MU game last night. Always a pleasure to visit here. The manager was welcoming and funny and both him and the other gentleman on shift were both a delight and helped me and my son get our order and eat before a long evening in the cold. City were on another level to United that night and this subway was on another level to all other subways. Can’t wait for my next visit

All the staff are friendly and the wait times have gone down a lot. The manager is always really lovely with us too it’s rare to find such polite people when you go for a quick bite. No robot workers here! And the food is always amazing

This subway is fantastic. I really think it helps as the customer service each time is great. I usually get served by this French gentleman - he’s is very hard working and so pleasant!! The food is always fresh and always has everything to offer.

I have frequented this store many times and my last visit has got to be my worse experiance it is the first time I have been in and not had to queue.... but the qutility was very poor sandwiches over tested so we're hard and crispy with proceeded to break up and fall apart when eating them and the salad portion was not consistent as you usually get 3 slices of tomato/cucumber but 1 sandwich had one slice of tomato and the other sandwich had 2 slices and no cucumber.... maybe even this explains the unusual lack of customers if standards are slipping

We were staying at the Ibis next door and came here for breakfast. Good value deal, £2.50 for 6 inch sausage, egg and cheese sandwich with coffee. Friendly staff and good service.

While in Manchester my Daughter visited Subway as it was near the hotel where we were staying. The food was nice and fresh and the staff were helpful. There was not much room in there so there was a que but we got through fairly quickly.

Poor experience, my wife ordered a vodka and coke. Coke was flat and the vodka was definitely not Smirnoff. We used to come here some time ago and was always a great place to go for cocktails, what a shame.

Went here for a coffee. It was disgusting. Tasted like water. We sat outside, had barely been there 2 minutes until a staff member came to tell us, abruptly, "we're closing in 15 minutes", no smile, no polite delivery. With hindsight we should have gone somewhere else but we were in a rush. There are plenty of other cafes, bars, restaurants in the area so go to our of those and avoid here.
