Subway - Kingsgate in Fife

Food was okay (it's a subway) but the cleanliness of the place is actually disgusting looks like it's never been seeped or mopped food all over tables and chairs and staff do not care

I'm sick of the attitude of staff in this place especially the tall girl on the till/ possibly the manager. 4 people on counter in a quiet store and I was 1 of 2 people waiting yet it took 30 mins to get my food. 1 girl was making what I assume was a "just eat" order and a boy who was the only polite one, was helping her. For 15 mins all 4 staff they were talking and joking with each other, not serving customers and not answering the phone or back door. The tall girl cleaning the counter and cookie shelves (which was clearly a priority to her), I assume so they can get away quicker, said to the others she just makes them wait at the back door and doesnt answer. The woman in front of me got a second unordered sandwich made as they hadn't heard her order properly. After 15/ 20 mins of ignoring me the boy started serving me. Once the sandwich was made they were left on the counter because the other delivery orders were queued up for the oven. I sat down to wait at the table next to the counter with my family as it had been 25 mins standing by this point. 1 sandwich came out and they asked about salad. I asked my husband what salad he wants but before I could finish a sentence the talk girl shouted rudely ordering us to " come up to the counter and order the salad". I hadn't even found out if my husband wanted salad. I just said lettuce and then waited at my table till the rest of the order was finished. The 2nd sandwich arrived and I went to pay. The tall girl stopped halfway through serving me to finish cleaning a cookie cabinet and left me waiting again like she couldn't be bothered serving me and I was interupting what she was doing. It certainly seemed much mire important than her customers. She then said sorry for your wait today but clearly didnt give a monkeys. I sat down to eat 30 mins after joining the queue of 1. Then the last part of the order, Nachos, came for my son and I picked them up from the counter. SUBWAY should just close this store Duloch and dalgety bay have better service and don't treat customers like an inconvenience

They forgot my side but food was good beside that and delivery driver was on time and polite

left our my chicken bites on a meal deal. literally the only other item besides the footlong I ordered and no sauce either but still charged me for them

food was freezing, bread had gone hard and took well over an hour to arrive.

The meat balls were solid and luke warm

They didn’t cut my sandwich in half so when I unpacked it, the whole thing fell apart and rolled onto the bed.

Nearly £60 order and not one thing right missing half the items and the ones we got were made wrong one angry mum with some very hungry kids

Food was cold took to long to deliver. There was a leaf in my sandwich looked like outside leaf that’s in my garden. All items were put in the same bag juice was not separated from order. Wrong cookie given asked for rainbow cookie and given double chocolate. Driver dumped bag at door chapped and ran off. Definitely should not be doing just eat from this subway as they are a joke.

Didn’t get some items. Delivery driver said “ it’s not my fault” and was defensive . Can’t get in touch with the restaurant.

Missing items from order, and when I asked the delivery driver about it he got defensive, "its not my problem its not all there, blame the restaurant and get a refund or someone to deliver it" that was my response from the driver

Bread incorrectly swapped on 2 sandwiches

Ordered at 14:12. Time said it would arrive between 14:45 and 15:05 but kept changing later and later whenever it got within 10minutes until it eventually, finally, arrived at 16:00. Food arrived dirt cold

No pot of tomato ketchup with the hash browns and they had obviously run out of the juice i had ordered and provided 2 bottles of juice that i didn’t order!!

Ordered footlong chipotle steak from the pre-made menu did not have jalapeños, crisp onions or chipotle as described. Ordered 3 cheesecake cookies got a note saying we don’t sell these cookies yet providing me with 3 other cookies I didn’t like. So nothing was correct. Can’t get pre-made sandwich items correct which is a major concern and are listen items there not selling, you should decline the order or call the customer if you don’t have correct items I have taken photos and will be claiming the money back

the driver who delivered my food was lovely and apologised as he had to wait over an hour at the restaurant for my food. I'm so glad he waited. I called the restaurant multiple times and nobody picked up. My food arrived cold and stale.

Food was fine but just eat are a joke. They added £2.50 more onto a sandwich than subway charge, plus delivery fee plus service charge.

Just knocked my door and left it there, otherwise was great, if I hadn't heard the knock on my door my food could have been stolen

right cookie and right sandwich but was given the wrong drink and wrong crisps. if you have ran out of something take it off the system or get in contact with the customer instead of just throwing random thing into the bag that they could be allergic to.

Customer service is absolutely disgusting, mess absolutely everywhere. never felt more disrespected from staff. especially from male working on salad section. staff were just laughing and talking amongst each other and not giving much attention to customers.

I ordered the 465ml ice cream and got the small tub.

Ordered at 1230. At 1440 App still saying food will be delivered by 1350. Staff can't be bothered to update delivery time or answer the phone. Regular service from this place.

Love subway! Orders have always been correct never had an issue with subway. It's only ever drivers that let it down. Today's driver was lovely! Subway always listens to my comments aswell which is really helpful! Thank yoi

Not only did we wait 3 hours for our delivery but we also never ever received our order, although this stated it had been delivered. We tried phoning the subway shop for more than 3 hours with no answer. Terrible customer services, communication and management.

Order took well over 2 hours which is absolutely ridiculous. Delivery time kept getting pushed out longer and longer untill they stopped giving an update. Once delivery passed the hour late mark I gave up hope and organised other food. It finally arrived and was cold and a mess and went straight in the bin. Won't be ordering subway from justeats ever again.

Freezing cold juice on top of hot sides. More than half the order missing. Incorrect items delivered. Absolute joke. Asked them in notes to make sure everything was there.

Order was never delivered, waited 40 mins, trying to get through to the store on the phone. Had to go pick it up so subs were a bit soggy - no apology or offer of recompense. When we said that they had our number, reply was that they are busy. Order was over £50 so a substantial order to have such shocking service.

The initial estimated delivery time was between 13 25 and 13:40. This time changed at least once and the food eventually arrived at 14:07. The delivery driver was not at all happy as he was waiting at the shop to collect our order for half an hour. He was very clear that the delay was not down to him. This has happened previously and caused us to rush our lunch today to get back to work!! Surely the restaurant knows the quantity of orders they need to fulfill and a better delivery estimate given in the first instance? From the earliest time given to the actually time delivered was 42 minutes!! The restaurant is less than 5 minutes to our house!! Not good and we're not happy.

Disgusting service went with my daughter asked for no cheese on 1 and nearly put cheese on. Terrible customer service no please or thank you. And tables were filthy when asked to get table cleaned girl cam out with cloth and spray and barely rubbed the table. And wasn't even cleaned proper Said she was just back from her break. Well excuse me tables should be kept clean always. It was a quiet time so no excuse as staff were just talking among themselves. Think subway should employ older staff who maybe take a bit of pride in their work!!

Friendly staff, even though I came for early morning, they were super friendly and chatty and asking about my day.

I found a green in like the ones you use to put up pictures and stuff in my subway dug into the bread and when I looked at the metal and it was rusty

Never received my order paid £47 for it. Tried calling the shop and no answer definitely won’t be using shop again.

I actually went up to subway myself after waiting an hour and a half for a driver to be assigned and still not received an update or anything poor poor service from JustEat but the staff at subway couldn’t have been more helpful

My sandwich arrived cold, I received the wrong drink and the wrong cookie - thoroughly disappointed.

The delivery time was changed twice after already waiting half hour. Tried calling the store but had no answer, tried to cancel the order but apparently you still have to pay for the food you don’t want. Food eventually arrived 2 hours later. It was cold, the drink warm and not the one ordered, cookie squashed and even the wrong flavour of crisps. The driver was rude and defensive when we queried what happened. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Buffalo chicken is supposed to be coated in buffalo glaze but my chicken was dry and flavourless.. Either they've changed the recipe or the shop used the wrong product.

13:04 food says delivered but it’s 13:19 and no food has been delivered. restaurant aren’t answering the phone either, and I can’t submit a refund request

Almost two hours late and cold when it arrived

The app showed the driver was in the shop for a long time - most of the order delivery time. The food arrived cold and completely inedible. All we get offered is a £2 refund. They must have known it was cold but still delivered anyway. How can you expect a repeat order?

Subs were not toasted, I was given ready salted crisps when monster munch were ordered so all in all pointless because im having to toast the subs myself and have crisps I don’t like and will not eat.

Subway need to rethink their ordering system. For the second time, went today to the actual shop for food. Stood for half an hour, with lots of others, while numerous online orders were made, and all the while the queue got bigger, to the point where it was almost out the door. No apologies for the wait, and the customer in front of us spoke up and actually said what everyone else was probably thinking. He was told it was a Saturday which is why it was so busy, and they make up orders in order of the time they are received, however my experience was that they were making up online orders in relation to how close drivers were to coming to collect them. Poor experience. Won't be back. There needs to be 2 separate teams, an in store order team and an online one. Otherwise, why not just make it an online company, if the actual customers in the shop aren't a priority anymore? Corporate greed, to the detriment of customer service. To wait for half an hour and then be given jalapenos when I specifically said I didn't want them, was the final nail in the coffin!

Unfortunately our order was wrong and that was a bit of a nightmare for a wasted lunch for the kids. Food that arrived wasn’t great either. Expensive lunch for what it was.
