Walked into subway, two staff working but just ignored me completely. Waited patiently thinking someone would have basic decency to take my order but left after waiting for nothing. How this store is still is business is beyond any comprehension.

Ordered on the app for pick up but when I got there they said that their machine wasn't working. I've lost my voice so I couldn't speak, I tried telling the gentleman, he understood and I showed him my order on my phone. He made it quickly and perfectly. He was very polite :) thank you! This was 22/06 at about 1530.

Usually my favourite branch, but on this occasion nothing was right; - asked for a footlong, got a 6" - wanted crispy onions and pickles, only got the lighted sprinkle of onions and 2 pickles - hot chocolate was too hot and tasted rancid - staff were ignorant, rude and got everything wrong.

Ordered a home delivery through just eat, there were 8 items in total. All that was delivered were 2 items. 3 days I have called subway ti informed them to have the rest of my order delivered - 27times after receiving my delivery, 11 times on day 2 and 15 times on day 3. No-one answers the phone, there is no email address to write and complain.

Fantastic new member of staff who is a credit to the place. Went above and beyond this morning and was great to see someone who wasn’t robotic. I didn’t catch his name but will next time I’m in to update here. Great food and a credit to the company.

As someone who rarely uses Subway I popped in this evening and spoke to a very nice and knowledgeable young man, Chris I believe his name was. Answered all my questions and was kind, considerate and most importantly patient of my rather obvious inexperience. Would definately visit again!!

Staff wanted a fag break so closed the shop 1hr and half before actually supposed to close. Children very disappointed. Apparently they’re rushed off their feet. Maybe they should try working in the NHS!!

Don't know what have happened, whether staff change. But my recent subs have been inedible. I bought one last night and that was the worst. It was dry, the filling was substandard, I requested chipotle and mayo and when I looked there was what can only be described as two tiny spots of the sauce, nothing that you could taste and certainly didn't cover the sandwich, the cheese was barely there. I used to like the local subway, not anymore. Will be taking my custom elsewhere. I sent the sandwich back and requested a refund. Never again 😡

I just had the pleasure of being served by the very unhelpful Julie. No information on what was included in the breakfast deals, poor attitude and really made to feel we put her out. Food was great and her colleague was upbeat. Maybe an understanding of customer service would help!

Most weeks I tend to have at least 1 subway salad and thoroughly enjoy. Unfortunately today was a little different. I have just literally finished eating it and without sounding ridiculous, I don't feel that I have eaten a salad at all. I chose my usual Chicken Tikka with all toppings except cucumber & tomato but unfortunately there was very little lettuce put in and therefore I feel as if my lunch was literally a bowl of toppings with some sauce. Hopefully this will improve by next week when I will return and hope that today was just an off day.

This subway shop used yo be my favourite place to get a sandwich, the last few times I've been there the staff don't seem to really give a crap about what they are doing, maybe I'm coming in at a busy time or something I don't know. The food is still always nice and the price is still great.

Not a terrible experience but was let down by the female "sandwich artist" who looked as miserable as sin and showed no customer service skills whatsoever. I got the impression that she didn't want to be there and it felt like she resented our presence too. The gentleman on the till was, in complete contrast to this, an absolute pleasure to be served by. He was friendly, smiling, and acted as if he was more than happy to serve us. If we return it will be 100% because of this guy's customer service. The girl there could stand to take a few lessons from him.

This place is very hit and miss. Only one or two staff members have any customer service skills, the rest are not interested through to rude. Usually staff are too busy chatting to each other or their friends who visit the shop to pay any attention to you - on a previous visit I was asked the same question 3 times, when I commented on this they were again too busy talking to hear what I was saying. I know it's not the most thrilling job in the world but a smile and a hello wouldn't hurt. It's also not very clean, on a recent visit there were black rubbish bags in the food prep area and they seem to have an issue with fly's in the shop which are evident almost everywhere and again staff are oblivious. They all wear gloves but I've seen some not change them between serving people for food and at the till.

I attended this subway on the 12th of August, I believe the girl working was Siobhan; working alone may I add. She rectified a problem I had without complain, quickly and with a smile. Could not fault her. Great example set and others should look to her as to how to serve customers.

My visit to this franchise today was very disappointing. The service was poor; but what I found really appalling was the mess in the shop. Work tops covered with style food & crumbs - attracting flys and god knows what!! In a nut shell the whole shop was a mess. Table tops & floor left uncleaned. It was not busy in there, if so I could understand, but I think this just down to laziness. Really put me off on visiting there again.

It's ok bit slow lunchtime can get extremely busy the queue is normally out the door theres a hand full of seating inside with wheelchair accessible seating and entrance plus disabled parking by the entrance free of charge

Never felt so sick and I'll in all my life after eating here the two girls serving give off the attitude that the customer owed them something and wouldn't make eye contact. 'What do you want'? Almost robotic no customer survice there at all! The man on the till was nice and polite safe to say I will NEVER eat from this place /company again . 😷

The good thing about Subway is that you choose what goes in your sandwich. You can have it as simple or complicated as you like. Friendly, helpful staff make it pleasant. There are some tables inside or you can take your sub with you.

Not suitable for vegetarians. Not only that I'm not sure that meat and salad should be touching anyway. They used to have one person handle he meat and another handle the salad or change gloves. Obviously thier hygiene has hit an all low. Also...some people ask someone else to pick up a vegetarian sub for them on a lunch run as seen today... the subway staff picked off the ham from the cheese that had fallen on it on the meat side and put it in top of he patty. Bet that vegetarian would be grateful to find out so if you sent someone for a foot long veggie patty along with a few other subs by a staff member on a lunch run today 23rd august the subway staff really don't care about vegetarians. In fact it's repulsive. Disgusting place!

Took the kids for tea, they are really indecisive and the staff took it in their stride, indecisiveness over and we were left with great looking and tasting rolls and really fresh and tasty nachos. Eat here regular and I'm never disappointed!

A welcome addition to the Castle View shopping area. Staff are friendly, although can sometimes be a little bit overwhelmed trying to keep up when it gets very busy. However, all do their best... It has the full 'Subway' range of food available and is updated with the latest new items regularly. They have the usual deals and a wide variety of breads available and you can have whichever sub you want toasted, not toasted, with whatever salad or sauce you want, etc...lots of choice. Plenty of parking and there are deals available for armed forces/emergency services staff that are over and above the usual deals.

We stopped here late in February of 2015 after a day out in Cardiff shopping. We were both hungry & decided to have a Subway. We had the spicy meat Sandwich & both really enjoyed it. The 2 staff were really friendly & chatty.

My young daughter was given the wrong sub. Accidents happen. As she was taking it back to the counter another customer accidentally knocked her arm and the food fell on the floor. When she explained what had happened to the man serving behind the counter she was told that it was tough. No refund. No replacement. She paid £5.20, was given the wrong food and then through no fault of her own had to leave the store without even tasting her meal. Subway has just lost a family of customers - not that they appear to care at all.

Local subway so often call in. Usually friendly staff & great service but today staff I've never seen before who were more interested in chatting to each other than interacting with customers. I had to keep repeating what salad items I wanted as the boy would do one, have a chat to colleague then ask me again what I'd said! Also some meats were defrosting so it was pick another option or wait at least 30mins for them to thaw! Should have gone elsewhere today

What a great subway, very welcoming staff and exceptionally clean, enjoyed every mouthful, food was fresh and readily available, plenty of choice and staff recommended an offer which mean I saved over £3 for a meal for two. Thanks castle view subway, will definitely use you guys again

Turned up at 2:30 today to be told there were no tables available until 4pm yet the lady behind the bar had sat 2 people in front of us straight away and there were times available to book today on their website at the same time we had turned up. Make that make sense. The couple in front of us were told that it would be 45 mins to an hour wait, which I understand if it's busy but there were tables available and other people were found a table before us. How can you treat people differently to others. Please explain that to us bumble bee because it makes no sense. UPDATE Thanks Mr Lewis for commenting back to me. I would like to first comment on the fact that we were NOT told by the lady at the bar that the couple in front of us had the last table. We were told that there was no tables until 4PM, although there were 1 or 2 tables that were dirty and could have been cleaned for us to be able to have the chance to dine or have a drink at your establishment. I find what you had stated to be not the truth and for you to place a request upon my review to be removed because 'we didn't dine or drink at your restaurant' is unfair. How could we when we didn't have the chance to? Your website clearly stated that there were bookings available to be made 2:45pm onwards, therefore how can your website state that when you have 'no tables available' is beyond me. I find this response to be rather confusing and not all the truth. Me and my family used to dine at your restaurant a lot as we always had a very happy and nice meal or 2 there, however this experience has put me off wanting to dine at your establishment again. I hope you see this comment and find out the truth, rather than give some form of answer which doesn't speak any truth in it. We understand that places are busier than ever, especially with it being Christmas yet it left me and my mother baffled by how there was clearly room for 2 more paying customers. I hope to get a reply from you, yet I don't expect one really.

Called into the Court House on the weekend whilst the festival was taking place. Extremely busy, but still managed to get a table. Ordered at the bar. Staff very nice and service very fast. Will be back.

Delicious food, but an insultingly small portion, which was just about lukewarm. I didn't complain out of respect to my friend who had arranged the table as a treat for me. The waiting staff were fab, and the coffee was excellent. The first time I have left a restaurant feeling completely mugged off. Most certainly won't be going back.

i don't recommend eating their food the only thing that was decent was their cod bites the chips are dry and if they forget something they ask you to pay for the delivery a second time when they messed up the order in the first place
