The staff and the venue was lovely. However, we were disapponted with the quality of the meat we ordered. My husband ordered a ribeye and I ordered the sirloin, paying high end price for both steaks they came back small, thin and did not match the £31 and £28 value. I cannot comment on the other items on the menu, but the price charged for what you’re given is a letdown.

I have wanted to go here for some time, as I had read quite a lot about it on social media. I was there on 18th September, and the curry was labelled as Tikka(which is dry normally), yet I was served a Tikka massala. Which would have been fine if it was good. But sadly, it was incredibly bland and did not live up to my expectations. As I drove from Cardiff, especially, I am don't think I will be back. Which is a great shame as the owners have great ethics. I really hope this was a one-off for them.

From booking our table of 14 to the service and food, the experience was 5* Jean was extremely accommodating. The Sunday lunches were great value, large portions and very good quality meat. The choice of starters and desserts was also excellent. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be returning soon

The reason for a 3 instead of a 4, was because of this- The veg curry whilst ok was not up to spec. for a hefty £13.50 lunch price, it was chick peas and spinach (as described) but not a curry, more chick peas, and tinned toms with a bit of powdered curry spice from a supermarket (like your nan might make), a small portion as well, on top of far too much white rice; the bhaji was tiny and flat, but tasty, the mango chutney ok, but clearly from a jar, very jam like, little naan was nice and fluffy, poppadum - as it should be. I think for the small amount of curry £10 top would be right, but please see to the end. Pie of the day, ok, but not a pie really, chicken and leek with a shop bought flaky pastry top, peas (fine), mash (lovely) but no extra gravy to help with the shop pastry (again £13.50). All the food was tasty but just not up to the price tag. Tea - great price and extra water - brill. Coffee - ok and price as in other places. Dessert- this was a lovely custard slice recommended by the server, a few edible flowers and some whipped cream on the side - a nice dessert, is it worth £6 a pop, probably not. Its a lovely pub and seems clean (not the ladies loos that need some attention for sure), and the service was really great. For us who usually go for a hike and try and find a place for lunch, we were thankful this was open, but we can see why many pubs stay closed lunch times and understand the price hike, hence my comment above (re please see to the end). Its a difficult time for all, but for us at a £50 price tag for lunch, hot drinks and a small dessert each, we probably will not be back. The portions and quality would need to be upped, and I feel sorry for saying that as the pub was great as was the garden, so I hope they make their money on the weekends because its a really nice place with really great service.

I was fortunate enough for some friends to recommend this place last Sunday. It was easily the best Sunday lunch I've eaten anywhere in my adult life. You can tell this place takes its meat & butchery seriously. Started off with the black pudding bon bons, they don't sound like something to get excited about, but let me tell you... They were special. Crunchy coating with black pudding The consistency of melted chocolate inside. God damn... They were memorable. The peppercorn sauce that came with them was excellent too. I ordered the lamb dinner with 1 of every extra. In fact each of us at the table ordered a cauli cheese, which in hindsight was a mistake... The portion sizes were gigantic! The lamb was as good as any I've ever eaten. I'm not sure if it was locally sourced but I assume it was. The portion of meat is really generous! I'm a big lad and I was very happy. Let's move onto the pigs in blankets. Again, what would normally be a standard Sunday roast extra was elevated by the quality of the meat. Proper bangin' bangers. Veg on a Sunday dinner is normally overcooked and boiled to death. Not here. The vegetables were expertly cooked and very well seasoned. It wouldn't be a Sunday roast if you didn't have roasties... These were about as good as you can get, crunchy coating, well seasoned with herbs and and a soft fluffy inside. I'm really glad I got extra... A novel (and stand out) thing was how they served gravy in a milk bottle. It wasn't mega practical but it didn't matter at all. Just like the peppercorn sauce this wasn't just any old packet gravy. These guys know how to make a PROPER gravy. One that anyones nan would be proud to serve to their family. I live over an hour away and ever since I ate here all I can think about is coming back and bringing my whole family with me. Heck, I'm tempted to come back every single Sunday for the rest of my life. Keep it up! I'll be back again soon! Edit: Went back the following week and the Sunday dinner was significantly worse than the time before. The roast potatoes were soft, brown on the inside and clearly not the same type as the previous week. To be brutally honest they tasted like rotten potatoes. Not only that they had none of the herbs and seasoning they had the week before which made them so special. The lamb was cooked to death and the vegetables werent give the same care and attention either. It was a genuine shame, considering that I had travelled over an hour to bring my family. One saving grace was that the chef made a special effort to put the black pudding bonbons back on especially for us (on my request). The service was also very good. As a result... we won't be making the effort to return, it's too far for us to hedge our bets on a meal that *might* be good. Consistency is so important, the cooks need to maintain better standards to keep customers returning.

Visited for Sunday lunch, table for 3. Im sad to say it wasn’t a great experience. Plus points first - meat and mash were lovely but the rest was sadly lacking - the roasts were hard and white, vegetables soggy and flavourless, gravy very thin and again no flavour. My daughter had loaded Roasties which were swimming in thin runny gravy and we didn’t get any Yorkshire puddings with the other two roasts.

Ok upon entering it was very oldy pub vibe so threw me a bit as the menu on Instagram is very up to date vibes. Regardless of this we were seated in front of mens toilets on a busyish Sunday - ignore other reviews, the mens toilets have no impact whatsoever as they are far enough away and people are passing anyway to get to their tables! We born had beef roast with cauliflower cheese and it was absolutely delicious. The portions are excellent, every item was perfectly flavoured and you can tell time and effort has gone in making it this way. I loved you get your own little gravy in a glass bottle. Our waitresses were great! Strawberry cheesecake was delicious. Will definitely be back again! Thank you

Booked Easter afternoon tea as a birthday celebration- wish I hadn’t bothered! Service was honestly shocking- greeted to a number of tables that still had half eaten afternoon tea on them (that should have been our warning!). We had to wait quite a while for our afternoons to be delivered to the table- no explanation of what each item was. Presentation was awful, it was quite literally mayonnaise overload. We weren’t even given plates to have our afternoon tea and ended up giving up trying to get some. Mismatching tableware which is something that you don’t expect from afternoon tea. The food was honestly inedible- I thought it was a dairylea slice in the brioche! The worst thing is that they gave the vegetarian option a tuna sandwich. The chocolate mousse was honestly disgusting. We weren’t asked for refills for our tea or coffee and no one asked if we enjoyed our food, considering we left most of it. Wish we weren’t so polite and ended up paying for it because it was such a waste and a real downer to what should have been a lovely birthday treat! The only redeeming part was the coffee and the lovely male bar staff who greeted us initially. £17.50 for a nice of cup of coffee! Would avoid this place unless they improve massively. Really disappointed as wanted to support a local business but left with a very bitter taste! (Not just from the awful mousse)

Absolutely fantastic Sunday Lumch, extremely tasty 🤤 and great portions so much so that we unfortunately couldn’t manage a dessert today. The Welsh lamb was delicious and tender as well as being good thick slices, the roast potatoes again delicious and crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside with so much flavour, lovely assortment of well cooked veg that had plenty of taste and just enough bite, the gravy in bottles is ingenious as the glass keeps the gravy hotter for longer and again great flavour and consistency. Excellent value for money you certainly get what you pay for 😁 just a shame we couldn’t fit a dessert in as we were too full 😂 next time for sure 😊😁 Have to say the staff were excellent, efficient without being intrusive, polite & professional at all times which added to a lovely atmosphere. Absolutely 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and would highly recommend 😋😁🤤👍

Visited today for the first time for Sunday lunch. Booked on line and paid the required deposit. Arrived half an hour early ( my mistake) but our table was ready for us. Three of us had the beef which was tasty accompanied by mashed and roast potatoes parsnip and Yorkshire pudding and a dish of assorted veg and red cabbage along with tastygravy in glass pots . Portions were of a good size and the service was friendly quick and efficient . Desert choices were limited but the chocolate and raspberry tart and the apple cobbler with custard was good. We enjoyed our visit although it was very busy only complaint was that we were sat infront of the the gents loo and there were quite a lot of people passing our table! All in all an enjoyable meal would consider a repeat visit in the future.

Generous portions and good quality. Only negative was we asked for mustard and mint sauce which came in a large pot which had obviously been at other peoples tables - double dipping could well occur so maybe just put it in small individual pots. Our server, Madison, was friendly, helpful and efficient. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Considering all the hype I was expecting something better than the very basic and not very tasty pub grub we were served, a lot more thought has to go into the bland looking and tasting food we were presented. Lady was very nice to start with but then when we were eating our desserts she came up to us and told us she needed the table back. So rude whilst we were still eating! There was also several other empty tables. We left out dessert and went to pay as felt like we were not wanted! If we had been sat there doing nothing I’d understand but we were there so long waiting for our food to come so it’s their fault if they wanted the table back! As soon as she handed the receipt over how you paying? I’ve never experienced such rudeness in all my life! Didn’t even give us a chance to read the receipt as she just stood behind us!!! I visited this pub after reading the hype, first mistake! I started with garlic mushrooms (these were full of garlic oil) and very sloppy in the bowl, never tasted such poor quality starters. Next course a chicken tikka curry, bitter and bland with very minimal amounts of meat, moving onto the dessert a cheesecake that was almost jelly like. I wouldn’t recommend or return not value for money or even edible.

Had Sunday lunch & family meal here in Nov & December (since new owners) Sunday lunch was amazing! Plenty of it & meat on mixed platter was so tender & tasty. We loved the variety of veg. Just be careful when you pick up glass bottle with hot gravy. Best Sunday lunch we’ve had in ages! Family of 8 visited early December . We had a variety of meals for 6 adults & 2 children. All meals were lovely, cooked perfectly & the service was excellent. Steaks were perfect , fish was gorgeous, my turkey pie was fantastic & well the chips…..What can I say! Very nice indeed! My only observation & not a criticism is that the pasta carbonara was a tad spicy for the little one as was the chicken coujons. They may be the same as what’s on the adult menu so think they could be less spicy or at least less pepper on the carbonara. Having said that our 6 year old ate all his coujons! Plus no garlic bread on the menu. Could be worth adding it? We would have ordered a few portions😁 The deserts were lovely too. The children enjoyed hot chocolate & marshmallows. The two girls who served us were excellent , checked everything was ok & we were all made to feel very welcome. The gentleman on duty was also pleasant. Chatty & engaging. Mopped up quickly when our grandson accidentally knocked over his drink-thanks! There was a nice atmosphere. This place is much needed in the area & very popular-so you need to book well in advance, especially for Sunday lunch. Looking forward to our next booked visit for Sunday lunch!

After hearing that the pub was under new management I thought we would give it a try,We were seated next to the ladies toilet I question if this table is legal under the Health and safety act the table partially blocked access to the toilet I question is this about increasing seating coming up to Christmas over health and safety .We had to put our coats back on due the draft every time someone opened the main door.Food I ordered the lamb and mint pie with chips and peas the pie filling was tasty and the gravy was nice the pie lid tasted stale straight out of the freezer the portion were also small. My partner is a vegetarian and didn’t want curry mushrooms or a pasta dish so she had the sharing Welsh baked cheese starter has her main this was a sharing starter for over £14 we a maximum 5 inch diameter cheese 2 slices of Bread and butter and a red onion chutney this was exceptional poor value. We had2 different desserts which we had to wait 30 minutes for, most probably waiting for them to defrost both very under whelming one of these came on a chipped plate.Whilst paying we did complain to the waitress and a waiter earlier on in the night. To sum it up poor environment food is not freshly made I would say most of it came out of the freezer and reheated small portions and not good value.

Very disappointed. We used to go here as a family years ago and it was an amazing roast dinner. After hearing it was under new ownership we wanted to give it a try. The roast wasn’t good at all… really tight portions (only one slice of meat each). The lamb was dry and tough but the people who had beef said it was good. The veg seemed like it was frozen because it was suspiciously mixed together, cubed and very al dente. Cauliflower cheese was poorly put together and came out cold. Aside from the food, the staff were quite poorly organised too. They were all very young with no clear shift leader so we didn’t know who our waiter was and it wasn’t a very personable experience. Hard to justify leaving a tip when this happens… Service was also very slow and we waited about 40 minutes for mains. Desserts were pointlessly decorated with flowers and the hot desserts came out about 5 minutes before the cold ones…. Not sure how you get that wrong…. Food should always be brought together.

Having seen all the hype leading up to the new owners taking over I was expecting great things. Unfortunately I left there a little flat and disappointed. We arrived on a busy quiz night which was very under staffed. The landlords are new so you can make allowances for that. Staff really nice but were very overwhelmed and need someone there with experience to take charge. We ordered the award winning curry and the special burger. The curry was quite bland and the smallest portion. A small metal curry dish and In it was served both the curry and the rice? It took over 45 minutes to arrive and considering they were only cooking curry or burgers that night you would think that they would have them there ready to go. Drinks never arrived. The burger was missing the extras (cheese and bacon) and was very dry with no relish. The fries were thin and could have been frozen( not the triple cooked chips we were expecting). I am sure that these problems are just teething problems and are not a true reflection of the food and service. I hope my feedback will in some way help you improve the customer experience going forward.

We recently visited with friends and were excited about trying out the 'new' Halfway House. On arrival we had a pleasant welcome and were taking straight to our table. We were asked if we wanted to order drinks but we wanted to have a look at the wine list first. My husband then went to the bar to order the drinks. The dry white wine we chose wasn't available and we were offered a sweet wine in its place. We just had lager! When the waitress came to take our food order she had to go away to find out what the 'curry of the day' was. I would've expected waiting staff to have been briefed on those options before waiting tables. My husband and I chose the 'award winning' curry. Our friends ordered fish & chip which looked lovely when it arrived which was a good few minutes before our curries. Not a good start! Eventually the curries arrived. I could tell immediately that my curry and rice had been microwaved. No problem whatsoever with that but I thought the rice could have been fluffed up before serving! I stuck my fork into it and it lifted off the plate in one lump!!! My husband asked if my curry was hot and it was hardly warm. He asked the waitress to take the food away and sort it. By the time our food came back our friends had finished their meal. We must've waited at least 15mins on our meals coming back. We were offered a round of drinks in the meantime. When our food returned the amount of curry on my plate had increased times 4!!!! For an award winning curry it was very bland with little to no taste! So our whole experience was awful and we paid full price for it! Fair to say we won't be back in a hurry.

So looking forward to our night out given that we’ve experienced dining with Clive so the anticipation was high. The waiting staff were clearly inexperienced but were incredibly well meaning if a little chaotic. We ordered wine which was delivered with a dirty glass and lots of apologies.would have been lovely to have s chill sleeve or iced bucket for the rose but none forthcoming. Starters were really tasty (we had the black pudding flavoured scotch egg and the pulled pork croquettes). Man course was something else. I had the house burger which was advertised as two rump patties (really needed seasoning as they had no taste at all) seeded brioche bun (dry to say the least) and triple cooked chips which were wafer thin and tasted more like thin cut frozen chips. Hubby had the 10oz bavette steak which was tasty and well cooked. The sauce tasted quick powdery and the vine tomatoes were just that. Not cooked just placed uncooked on the plate. Chips the same problem. With a bottle of rose and red the bill came to £110. Not extortionate but felt overpriced considering the quality of the food and service. Felt so sorry for the staff who clearly are doing their best with little organisation. We lost count of the number of times they apologised and asked if we wanted dessert when we hadn’t even had our main course. In spite of that they worked so hard and we left s generous tip to recognise their best intentions. I appreciate the new owners have just taken over but not sure we’d ever return…

Just returned from the halfway house today and was disappointed with the service. I was also disappointed with the food as I had heard good things and was looking forward to try new items from the new menu. Ordered 1x chicken burger with cheese and 1 beef burger with cheese. Chicken burger was overcooked/dry and without the cheese that was ordered. Beef burger was also overcooked and dry. Staff did not attend back to the table to check if everything was okay with the food or wasn't asked by staff at the end when paying the bill. When reviewing the bill I could see that I was charged for the cheese that never came with the chicken burger but also for bacon which I never requested. When I informed the staff, I received no apology for the errors made on the bill, I was very friendly about the situation as I'm aware mistakes are made but the customer service towards the end made me feel that I would not like to return nor recommend anyone to eat at the halfway house. Positives were that the chips were good! Unfortunately on this occasion, this has not been a pleasant experience.

I have been to this pub many times for a meal with no problem but this time there definitely was a problem , I had the Cajun chicken at 3am I was violently sick that was the only thing I had eaten in the past twelve hours . I phoned the pub to let them know what had happened ( not to complain ) just to let them know they may have a problem . The girl who answered the phone told me she hadn’t worked on that night and assured me the meat is always probed tested and there was a bug going around . I told her a bug doesn’t happen just once at 3am and that as the only thing I brought up and then I was perfectly fine , she told me she would make a note of it and read my phone number back to me and that someone would get back to me which was fine . I would have left it there thinking it was just a one off BUT almost a week has gone by and no one has been in touch I think they have fallen short with customer service this time .

Under new management. Four of us booked for a meal last night. We were shown to our table within minutes of arriving, by a young waitress, who was very polite. Once we were settled with drinks, served by another very polite member of staff, we were given menu's to choose our meals. One of our group is gluten free and vegetarian, which has in the past at other venues been an issue, because of this she usually sticks to just a jacket potato whilst others enjoy a 'proper' meal. She does eat fish, so it was a nice change for her to able to enjoy a full meal of gluten free fish and chips. Once we had ordered, the landlady came to the table and checked through everything to ensure everything being served was safe for her to eat, she did the same with dessert. Nice little pub, thats looks to be doing very well and we hope it continues for the new management.

The premises is now under new management. You get a great welcome when you walk in compared to what you used to get with the old management! Stopped by to have lunch to find the pub busy. The meals were substantial and tasty. We had the Steak and Ale Pie, with vegetables and proper chips and also a Gammon followed by a Torte with cream. Everything was cooked exceptionally. There is a large selection of drinks at a reasonable price and on a warm day the beer garden is a welcome retreat. Having heard some great reviews from friends lately, I hope the pub takes off as the new landlords are made for this premises.

Have used this “Pub” several times when taking part in Selection Shoot Competitions for Wales. It has always served me well until now. I Booked 2 Nights Bed & Breakfast as I was Competing locally ( for Wales ) over a Weekend at the beginning of April. Due to Unforeseen circumstances literally hours after I had Booked I was advised by the Competition Ground that the Event was Cancelled. Although my Booking had a No Refund Policy I thought I would see due to these Circumstances if I could be Refunded. I phoned the Halfway and they rather Rudely said … No chance !

Stayed here for a night on tuesday, so fairly quiet, but service and food were great. Room was bang on for the price, shower was a bit poor, going hot and cold but everything else was excellent and as already mentioned but for the price, very good value. Food was absolutely lovely, i had the chicken burger and beauiful, but the chips stole the show as fresh cut, fat chips. Out of a party of 6, we all loved our meals and nothing was left. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Went here as a party of 8 on Saturday, I wasn't sure as the reviews were a bit mixed. The pub has a nice atmosphere, lovely going to a more traditional pub than the constant stream of chain pubs you get now. Prices suit most budgets, you can have two meals for £9.99 if you like, or they had curry and a pint for £8. Most other meals averaged around £12 a meal. All food seemed freshly cooked, my husband had surf and turf and although the steak was a little more towards medium than the rare he'd asked for, it was a lovely piece of steak and the prawns were amazing. Steak and kidney pie really delicious. Overall very impressed and the best pub meal I've had in a long time :-) Will certainly return.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime. There is a lunchtime menu with meals priced around £7.50 but we chose off the evening menu. No starters ordered so straight to mains. Sea bass from the special board served with veg and sauté potatoes, it was excellent. Fish ,chips & peas, a large white fish in crispy batter, excellent. Gammon, chips, peas, pineapple & egg, loads on the plate and very nice. Hunters chicken & home made chips, excellent. Dessert was 2 home made crumbles and 2 ice cream sundaes. All very nice indeed. This is an old fashioned charming character pub. Exposed stone in some areas & ample seating. We sat on a round table which makes for easy conversation. There's a log burner which I'm sure is very welcome in the winter. A few stone steps goes down from the top part of the restaurant to more seating and the bar. More steps and your in an open room with snooker table that leads into a pleasant outdoor seating area. Smokers area and other ample benches & chairs in a pleasant garden. There's a wooden play frame for children. I always inspect the toilets before I eat & have to say that Ladies Toilets are very, very clean. It looked freshly decorated and not a cob web or spot of dust in sight. I was impressed- it's spotless. The Loo brush was clean too- a refreshing change from what greets you in lots of eateries! Those of which I walk back out of! Nothing was too much trouble for the lady who served us. Be prepared to wait but it's well worth it as all food is cooked to order. Not one of our party of four could fault it. Evening meals are around £14 up & desserts £5. A pint of cider or lager is £3.50. We will return , could well become our "local"!

Had booked in 6 people for sunday lunch but didn't get our booked table until 90 mins after our booking time. By then many things on the menu had gone leaving us with a very narrow choice of options. When we eventually compromised our requirements and placed our orders when they were brought to the table they were wrong with extras missing. Mentioned this to the Manager, nit really expecting any compensation but I didn't expect him to laugh and say 'what did I expect - we are busy'

My partner and I ate here a couple of evenings ago. We had booked in advance but they got the name wrong and despite being corrected, we were still invited to our table using the wrong name! There appeared to be only one waitress and she worked really hard all evening. The food, when ordered, was of a good quality and generous proportions. They had run out of steaks by 8:30pm and the order taker had no idea what the soup of the day was.Apart from this, it is a nice enough place to eat and the food is generally of a good quality.

After visiting here today with friends and family, I immediately have felt the need to write this following review;I visited here with a mix of family and friends, five of us in all. We had booked for Sunday lunch at 14:30. We arrived at 14:20, started a tab and was directed to find a seat and have a drink and then the staff would notify us when our table was ready. We bought a few beers and a bottle of wine and proceeded to find a place to wait with a drink. Time started to go by and and another round of beers were bought. This was at 14:50, whereby we then asked was there any news on our table as we had booked it for 14:30. We were told that it was Sunday and it was busy so they would let us know when our table was ready as they have already stated. Eventually a waitress arrived at 15:40 to tell us our table was ready! So we sat down and were brought menus. After ten minutes, the waitress returned to take our orders and then told us, most of the starters on the menu were in fact not available but they had some alternatives. We ordered a couple of starters and when ordering our mains that chicken and turkey dinners were not available as they had now ran out and that certain side orders were also now unavailable because it being late afternoon on a Sunday. We expressed our irritation that this was not our fault and that we had been seating over an hour later than we had booked. We were not happy that we were now very limited on our selection because they had sat us so late. We proceeded to order the mains regardless as we were very hungry by this point! The starters were brought out and were in fact very good. The plates and cutlery were then removed and the mains brought out, the cutlery not having been replaced so we had to then go find staff to request cutlery as they had taken ours away with the starter plates! The food was ok at best, I had asked for an extra Yorkshire pudding on mine which did not arrive on my plate either. They brought two stuffing balls five minutes later also after saying they forgotten about them. I had ordered a 'Mixed Meat' Sunday lunch option. Beef and pork arrived. The pork was literally just a layer of fatty gristle. It was terrible. They had also burnt a number of Yorkshire puddings. When our meals were finished our plates were cleared and we waited for a good while before going to find staff to sort the bill out. After the terrible service and awful food, I thought that I had to talk to the manager and express my feedback. The manager came out and listened for around thirty seconds before telling me that my problem is about the wait and on a Sunday, that's just the way it. I then proceeded to say that actually the wait was just a small part of a wider number of issues. He then started laughing in my face, expressing that the Yorkshire pudding not turning up was hardly an issue. I said that the number of issues combined was my problem here and he continued to just laugh at me. My friends and family were in shock at his response and could not believe it. Looking over a number of reviews, it appears it's not just an isolated incident recently. I would avoid this place at all costs. The food was poor, the service poor and the manager is a joke.

We had pre booked a table here for our friends birthday, upon arrival the lady pointed to our table, she was a pleasant lady. Once all the party arrived the younger waitress came and took our orders. We waited 1 hour for our starters to arrive, within this wait we asked how long our starters would be after asking they came out 10/15 mins later. Then the main meal.....we again waited 40/45 mins for the young waitress to come out and tell us the chief had fainted so the food would be a further 20/30 mins, (I don't believe this to be true as there was no hustle and bustle in the kitchen and not a paramedic in sight! (Wouldn't you want your employee to be checked??) we agreed to wait as we had came from work so was pretty hungry! When the disgusting food was presented it was burnt and should never have been served! The so called manager came over to ask if everything was okay with the meals but when we said that the food wasn't up to standard and burn he got high rate and very defensive stating that you just can't talk to some people! I don't think he liked the truth!! When we asked for the bill, the manger told the waiter that there was to be no discount given, I just couldn't believe the customer service on the man! After arguing our case he finally decided to knock some of the bill off! My advice would be NEVER TO EAT HERE! The food is over priced and presented terrible! I shall be contacting health and safety about the chief and environmental health with regards to the food! We was at the establishment 3 hours and 10 mins in total!!!

Delicious food, but an insultingly small portion, which was just about lukewarm. I didn't complain out of respect to my friend who had arranged the table as a treat for me. The waiting staff were fab, and the coffee was excellent. The first time I have left a restaurant feeling completely mugged off. Most certainly won't be going back.

i don't recommend eating their food the only thing that was decent was their cod bites the chips are dry and if they forget something they ask you to pay for the delivery a second time when they messed up the order in the first place
